Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a wind turbine generator, and more particularly, to a wind turbine generator that prevents lightning strikes on a blade of a wind turbine for wind power generation.
。 With the expansion of the use of clean energy, wind power generators have been installed in various places, and in recent years, large-scale wind power generators such as 600 MW and 1000 MW have been introduced in recent years. Large wind power generators are installed in windy areas, hills, places where wind blows, and places where there are few obstacles that block wind, such as offshore (see Patent Document 1).
In a large wind turbine generator, the height from the ground to the top of the blade is more than 100 m. In particular, lightning strikes the blades (blades), causing damage and breakage of the blades (see Non-Patent Document 1). Conventionally, as a countermeasure against lightning strike on the blade, a method of attaching a receptor as a power receiving unit to the blade and concentrating the lightning strike on the receptor has been adopted. Alternatively, an independent lightning tower (lightning tower) is installed at a position that shields the windmill in order to protect the lightning strike to the windmill generator.
。 In addition, for the purpose of shielding the wind power generator from above, a method has been proposed in which a steel tower is constructed on both sides of the wind power generator, and an overhead ground wire is installed between them to shield the wind power generator (Patent Document 2). reference.). Furthermore, a method of arranging an annular earth ring on the outer periphery of the blade of the wind power generator has been proposed (see Patent Document 1).
However, in the above-described method of attaching the receptor to the blade, when the lightning strike energy is large, the receptor may be melted and the blade may be damaged or destroyed. In addition, since it is uncertain where the lightning strikes on the blade, it is necessary to place a plurality of receptors on the blade and to select the number of attachments according to the area of occurrence.
Further, in the method of shielding lightning strikes by the above-described lightning arrester tower, a steel tower having a height that completely shields the wind power generation apparatus is required, so that the construction cost of the lightning arrester tower is increased. In particular, in the case of a large-scale wind turbine generator, a lightning tower higher than the conventionally used lightning tower is required, which requires high construction costs. In addition, in lightning during the summer season, there is no clear direction in the direction of lightning strikes, so lightning protection of wind power generators by lightning towers is not perfect.
In the case of wind farms, in order to shield all wind turbine generators, it is necessary to construct a plurality of lightning towers with high structures, but it is impossible to completely shield all wind turbine generators. There is also a construction cost for the lightning tower.
In the case of a system in which lightning towers are constructed on both sides of the wind turbine generator, and the towers are connected by an overhead ground wire, and the wind turbine generator is placed within the shielding angle, lightning can be shielded. The construction of a steel tower is necessary, and there is a problem of securing a construction site and high construction costs.
When an annular earth ring is attached to the outer periphery of the blade and discharged to the ground via the earth terminal, the earth ring is made of a sturdy material and requires a size to maintain its shape. In addition, the weight of the earth ring increases, which affects the rotational load of the windmill.
Therefore, in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention is equipped with an overhead ground wire or a conductive band at the blade tip so as to shield the blade, thereby preventing lightning strikes on the blade and being cheaper than a lightning tower. The purpose is to provide a wind turbine generator capable of lightning protection.
In order to solve the above problems, the wind turbine generator of the present invention is characterized in that an overhead ground wire or a conductive band is connected by tip portions of a plurality of blades, and the overhead ground wire or the conductive band is grounded. To do. According to the above configuration, by installing an aerial ground wire or conductive band at the blade tip so as to shield the blade, it is possible to prevent lightning strikes on the blade, and lightning protection measures can be taken at a lower cost than a lightning tower. .

A shielding angle θ2 formed by a straight line made of CAD and a center line in the thickness direction of the blade is 35 degrees or less.

A shielding angle θ2 formed by a straight line made of CAD and a center line in the thickness direction of the blade is 10 degrees or less.
In the wind turbine generator according to the present invention, two or more of the overhead ground wires or conductive bands are connected between the tip portions of the blades. According to the above configuration, in the case of the same protruding arm length, since the shielding angle can be reduced, the lightning strike prevention structure is further improved.
In the wind power generator of the present invention, the aerial ground wire is a galvanized steel strand or an aluminum-covered steel strand, a steel core aluminum alloy strand, a hard copper strand, or a copper alloy strand. . In the wind turbine generator of the present invention, the hard copper stranded wires or wire line size than the copper alloy 5.5 mm 2 100 mm 2, the aluminum Kutsugaehagane wire size of the line is 6.5 mm 2 100 mm 2, wherein wire line size than steel core aluminum alloy characterized in that it is a 25mm 2 ~160mm 2.
In the wind turbine generator according to the present invention, the aerial ground wire or the conductive band is disposed on the entire outer periphery or a part of the outer surface of the blade. According to the said structure, the lightning strike to a braid | blade can be prevented and a lightning protection measure can be cheaper than a lightning protection tower.
According to the present invention, by installing an aerial ground wire or a conductive band at the blade tip so as to shield the blade, it is possible to prevent lightning strikes on the blade, and wind power that can be protected against lightning at a lower cost than a lightning tower.

Here, the shield earth length in the case of a normal annular shape and the length of the overhead ground wire or the
Because the
Sectional area of the ground wire for high-voltage overhead transmission lines typically, 100 mm 2 from 22 mm 2 in the case of the line from the galvanized steel, 150 mm 2 from 38mm 2 in the case of a line of aluminum covered steel, steel core aluminum In the case of alloy strands, 79 mm 2 to 160 mm 2 are used. Overhead power transmission lines have many lengths that pass through the mountains and require high reliability in power transportation. Therefore, a wire size designed to withstand the expected lightning charge and short-circuit capacity is required. It is said that. In addition, since a support such as an overhead power transmission tower is strong, an overhead ground wire having a large electric wire size can be wired with high tension. However, since it is desirable for the
Generally, lightning strike energy (charge amount) is mostly 3 to 90 coulombs (hereinafter referred to as C) for summer lightning, a typical value is 25 C, and 20 C or more for winter lightning (Non-Patent Document 2). (Refer to “Chuo Electric Power Research Institute Foundation Electric Power Research Institute Report 183517: Fusing characteristics of overhead wire by DC arc p13, 31”).
Therefore, the
Cross-sectional area of 38.4mm 2 × 25C ÷ 100C = 9.6mm 2 at 25C is required.
That is, the required wire size for the charge amount 25C of the copper stranded wire is 9.6 mm 2 × 57 ÷ 100 = 5.5 mm 2 .
As shown in FIG. 1 (A), the aerial ground wire or
Furthermore, the aerial ground wire or
When the
Since thunderclouds are high in summer, lightning strikes linearly on high structures. Therefore, the inventor can prevent lightning strikes on structures within the shielding angle by setting the shielding angles θ1 and θ2 of the overhead ground wire or the
If lightning is normal, lightning strikes can be captured with an overhead ground wire or
The shielding angle is an angle formed with the overhead ground wire or the shielding object disposed below the
