さらに、蓋材45の円板部451には、エンジン側燃料供給配管37sが通される貫通孔H4と、集合ケーブル39xが通される貫通孔H5とが形成されている。
なお、上記した貫通孔H1〜H5と、タンク側パージポート45p、タンク側大気ポート45a、エンジン側燃料供給配管37s、集合ケーブル39x等との間はそれぞれシール材(図示省略)によってシールされる。

<本実施形態に係る燃料タンク10の長所について>
本実施形態に係る燃料タンク10によると、燃料タンク本体10mの開口部41を塞ぐ蓋材45には、インレットパイプ(図示省略)が接続されるインレット部50と、燃料供給装置30のエンジン側燃料供給配管37s(配管)及び集合ケーブル39x(配線)と、キャニスタ20のタンク側パージポート45p、タンク側大気ポート45a(配管)がその蓋材45を貫通した状態で固定されている。このため、燃料タンク本体10mの開口部41と蓋材45との接合部分と、蓋材45における前記配管、配線等の貫通部とをシールすれば良くなる。即ち、シール箇所が燃料タンク本体10mの開口部41の一箇所に集約されるため、従来のように、シール箇所が複数に分散されている場合と比較して、燃料タンク10の信頼性が向上するとともに、コスト低減を図ることができる。
また、燃料タンク本体10mの開口部41のサイズは、その燃料タンク本体10m内に取付けられる部品を通すことができるサイズに形成されており、蓋材45は、開口部41から取外し可能、かつ再取付け可能に構成されている。このため、開口部41を利用して燃料タンク本体10m内の部品の交換が可能になり、メンテナンス用の開口を特に設ける必要がなくなる。

また、燃料供給装置30は、燃料タンク本体10mの内壁面に形成されたリザーブカップ部31(装置取付け部)に抜け止めキャップ38とリザーブカップ部31の係合爪31k(係合機構)との係合作用により取付けられる。このため、燃料タンク本体10mに対する燃料供給装置30の取付けが容易になる。
また、蒸発燃料処理装置を構成するキャニスタ20の容器21は、一部が燃料タンク本体10mの壁部と一体に成形されている。このため、燃料タンク10の製作コスト低減を図ることができる。
また、アッパシェル12とロアシェル14とは、樹脂の射出成形品であるため、アッパシェル12とキャニスタ20の一部とを一体成形したり、ロアシェル14と燃料供給装置30の一部とを一体成形することが可能になる。

ここで、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、本発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲における変更が可能である。例えば、本実施形態に係る燃料タンク10では、抜け止めキャップ38の被係合部38kをリザーブカップ部31の係合爪31kと弾性的に係合させることで、リザーブカップ部31に対するフィルタ部32、ポンプ部34、連結プレート35及び燃料残量検出部36の抜け止めを図る例を示した。しかし、図4(B)に示すように、リザーブカップ部31の側面上部に開口31hを形成し、この開口31hから抜け止め部材38を横方向から差し込み、そのリザーブカップ部31の内周面から突出する抜け止め部材38の先端部分で燃料残量検出部36の環体36kを上から押さえる構成でも可能である。
また、本実施形態に係る燃料タンク10では、燃料供給装置30をロアシェル14の底板部14dに固定する例を示したが、図5に示すように、燃料供給装置30をアッパシェル12から支柱53により吊り支持する構成でも可能である。ここで、前記支柱53には、バネ材54が装着されており、そのバネ材54が燃料供給装置30のリザーブカップ部55を下方に押圧するように付勢されている。これにより、リザーブカップ部55はバネ材54のバネ力で常にロアシェル14の底板部14dに押付けられるようになる。
このように、燃料供給装置30がロアシェル14に取付けられていないため、ロアシェル14の形状を比較的自由に設定することができる。したがって、形状の異なる燃料タンクを製作し易くなる。

また、本実施形態では、燃料タンク本体10mの開口部41を開閉する開閉機構40を蓋材45と蓋押さえリング43等とから構成する例を示したが、図7に示すように、開口部41側にフランジ部41fを形成し、蓋材45(図7では省略)をリング状の押さえフランジ43で押さえる構成でも可能である。さらに、蓋材45をフランジ板状に形成して、そのフランジ板状の蓋材45と開口部41側のフランジ部41fとを直接的にボルト&ナットで連結する構成でも可能である。また、図8に示すように、開口部41側のフランジ部41fとリング状の押さえフランジ43とを複数の鉤部43kと複数の鉤受け穴410との係合作用により連結する構成でも可能である。即ち、鉤受け穴410は、開口部41(フランジ部41f)の中心と同心の円弧上に形成されており、鉤部43kが通される挿通部411と鉤部43kが掛けられるスリット部412とを備えている。そして、鉤受け穴410の挿通部411に鉤部43kが通された状態で、押さえフランジ43が開口部41側のフランジ部41fにして回動することにより、鉤部43kがスリット部412の位置まで移動し、開口部41側のフランジ部41fと押さえフランジ43とが連結される構成である。なお、図8では、蓋材45とパッキン42は省略されている。
また、本実施形態では、キャニスタ20の大気ポート20a、パージポート20p、タンクポート20tを燃料タンク本体10mの内部に設ける例を示したが、それらのポート20a,20p,20tを燃料タンク本体10mの外側に設けることも可能である。この場合には、前記キャニスタ20のタンクポート20tと燃料タンク本体10m内を連通させるベーパ配管15を開閉機構40の蓋材45に通すのが好ましい。
