Abstract
Description
コマーシャル休憩においてまたは望ましくないコンテンツを避けるようにマルチメディアストリームから切り替わって離れる時に、一次ストリームは典型的には一旦停止されない。しかしながら、いくつかの構成ではユーザは、再開信号がコマーシャル休憩の終りを示した後でも二次ストリームへの更なる接続をオーバーライドまたはエンゲージすることを選んでも良い。或る状況では、二次ストリーム上の素材を提供するように一次ストリームから切り替わって離れる時に、二次ストリームはコマーシャル休憩遷移を越えて延長されても良く、一次ストリームはコマーシャル休憩が終わった後の一次ストリームの一部が欠けることを避けるように一次ストリームに切り替わって戻る時にバッファされるか、一旦停止されるか、巻き戻されるかしても良い。同様に、選択された二次ストリームが中断される時に、実施形態は、二次ストリームのどの部分も欠けることがないように二次ストリームを休止、一旦停止または巻き戻ししても良い。
Claims (20)
- 第一のコンテンツストリームを受信する第一の入力モジュールと、
第二のコンテンツストリームを受信する第二の入力モジュールと、
自動選択信号に基づいて、第一のコンテンツストリームまたは第二のコンテンツストリームの一つを選択するストリームセレクタと、
第一のコンテンツストリームまたは第二のコンテンツストリームの選択された一つを放出する出力モジュールと、
からなるマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。 - 選択信号は、第一のコンテンツストリーム中のコマーシャル休憩の発生を示す、請求項1のマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。
- 第一のコンテンツストリームは、オーディオストリーム、ビデオストリーム、またはオーディオビジュアルストリームの一つである、請求項1のマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。
- 第二のコンテンツストリームは、オーディオストリーム、ビデオストリーム、またはオーディオビジュアルストリームの一つである、請求項1のマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。
- 第二のコンテンツストリームは、インタラクティブコンピュータゲームである、請求項1のマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。
- ストリームセレクタは、選択信号が第一のコンテンツストリーム中のコマーシャル休憩の発生を示すときに第二のコンテンツストリームを選択するものであり、
第二のコンテンツストリームは、代替コマーシャルを含む、
請求項1のマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。 - ストリームセレクタは、選択信号が第一のコンテンツストリーム中のコマーシャル休憩の発生を示すときに第二のコンテンツストリームを選択するものであり、
第二のコンテンツストリームは、インタラクティブコンピュータゲームを含む、
請求項1のマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。 - 第二のコンテンツストリームは、広告コンポーネントからなる、請求項7のマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。
- 第一のストリームから第二のストリームへの遷移を組み立てるストリーム遷移モジュールから更になる、請求項1のマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。
- 遷移は、第一のストリームのフェードアウトと第二のストリームのフェードインからなる、請求項9のマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。

- 出力モジュールは、オーディオビジュアルモニターである、請求項1のマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。
- 第一の入力モジュール、第二の入力モジュール、ストリームセレクタと一体化されたインタラクティブコンピュータゲームコンソールから更になり、
第二の入力モジュールは、インタラクティブコンピュータゲームコンソールのインタラクティブゲームを含んだ信号を受信する、
請求項1のマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。 - 分散データネットワーク上の遠隔サーバから自動選択信号を受信する分散データネットワークインターフェースから更になる、請求項1のマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。
- 自動選択信号は、トランスミッションコントロールプロトコル(TCP)に従って分散データネットワーク上を送信される、請求項16のマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。
- 第一のコンテンツストリームを分析するコンテンツ分析モジュールから更になり、信号分析モジュールは自動選択信号を作成する、
請求項1のマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。 - コンテンツ分析モジュールは、第一のコンテンツストリームのサイドバンド信号を分析することによってコマーシャル休憩を検出するものである、請求項18のマルチチャネルメディア供給装置。
