Abstract
Description
トルエンジアミン(TDA)へのジニトロトルエン(DNT)のパルス水素化
典型的には、工業的な設定で、連続モードを介してDNTを水素化し、ここでDNTフィード速度は、触媒が汚染されたり安全上の危険が生じたりしないように、その濃度を十分低く維持するのに十分遅いものである。これは、水素化の速度がDNTフィード速度に依存することを意味する。このパルス水素化方法の目的は、触媒の活性を測定すると共に、DNT濃度を、工業的な設定と同等となるように十分に低く維持することである。これは、DNTのわずかな過剰の時間を最低限に維持すると共に、触媒活性を測定することができるように、水素化の速度よりわずかに速い速度でDNTフィードにおけるパルスさせることによって行うことが可能であった。それはまた、米国特許第4224249号、米国特許第6423872号及び米国特許第6005143号に記載されるものと同様の反応圧力条件及び反応温度条件を用いるために決定した。
アニリンへのニトロベンゼンのバッチ式水素化
25℃及び大気圧で、110mLの9.1質量%ニトロベンゼンエタノール溶液において、1.5グラムの触媒上で、ニトロベンゼンの低圧水素化を行った。これらの水素化のために、2000rpmで回転するバブリング撹拌機を備えたバッフルガラス反応器を使用した。これらの水素化の結果を、第1表に示す。
アルミン酸ニッケル(例えばタコバイト)を形成する触媒の能力の決定
米国特許第6,423,872号には、アルミン酸ニッケル(例えばタコバイト)を形成する触媒の能力の決定する方法が記載されている。この方法は、1ヵ月間、150℃の温度でTDAと共に触媒を置くことを含む。次いでチューブを開き、X線回折で触媒を調べた。触媒上に堆積した化合物はタコバイトであることが分かり、X線回折によって、その構造物は、工業的DNT水素化反応器及びその周辺機器の壁において観察される付着物と同じであることが示された。
100〜110℃の間で20質量%のNaOH水性懸濁液中でNiと、Alと、Crと、Feとを含有する合金を活性化し、それにより35μmの平均粒径値を有する8.8質量%のAlと、2.5質量%のCrと、2質量%のFeとを含有する活性化Ni触媒を得て、適用例3に記載の通りのタコバイトの形成について試験を行った。52°の2θでのニッケルのX線回折ピーク高さに対する12°、24°、35°、40°及び47°の2θでのタコバイトのX線回折ピーク高さの合計の比は、50.2であることが分かった。第2表に、12°、24°、35°、40°及び47°の2θでのニッケルに対するタコバイトのX線ピークの個別の比が示され得る。適用例2に記載の通り、この触媒を、アニリンへのニトロベンゼンのバッチ式水素化のために使用した。この触媒のニトロベンゼン水素化活性は61mL(H2)/分/グラム(触媒)であることが分かり、更なる情報は第1表に示され得る。適用例1に記載のように、150ミリグラムのこの触媒を、トルエンジアミンへのジニトロトルエンのパルス水素化のために使用した。この反応の選択性は、90%トルエンジアミンより大きく、第3表及び第1グラフにおいて、活性データポイントを以下に示す。
100〜110℃の間で20質量%のNaOH水性懸濁液中でNiと、Alと、Feとを含有する合金を活性化し、それにより28μmの平均粒径値を有する4質量%のAlと、0.2質量%のFeとを含有する活性化Ni触媒を得て、適用例3に記載の通りのタコバイトの形成について試験を行った。52°の2θでのニッケルのX線回折ピーク高さに対する12°、24°、35°、40°及び47°の2θでのタコバイトのX線回折ピーク高さの合計の比は、4.7であることが分かった。第2表に、12°、24°、35°、40°及び47°の2θでのニッケルに対するタコバイトのX線ピークの個別の比が示され得る。適用例2に記載の通り、この触媒を、アニリンへのニトロベンゼンのバッチ式水素化のために使用した。この触媒のニトロベンゼン水素化活性は49mL(H2)/分/グラム(触媒)であることが分かり、更なる情報は第1表に示され得る。適用例1に記載のように、150ミリグラムのこの触媒を、トルエンジアミンへのジニトロトルエンのパルス水素化のために使用した。この反応の選択性は、99%トルエンジアミンより大きく、第4表及び第1グラフにおいて、活性データポイントを以下に示す。

100〜110℃の間で20質量%のNaOH水性懸濁液中でNiと、Alと、Feとを含有する合金を活性化し、それにより3.43質量%のAlと、0.2質量%のFeとを含有する活性化Ni触媒を得て、0.5質量%のCrの最終的なCr含有量にCrO3の水溶液をドープした。この触媒は、29μmのAPS値を有し、適用例3に記載の通りのタコバイトの形成について試験を行った。52°の2θでのニッケルのX線回折ピーク高さに対する12°、24°、35°、40°及び47°の2θでのタコバイトのX線回折ピーク高さの合計の比は、2.6であることが分かった。第2表に、12°、24°、35°、40°及び47°の2θでのニッケルに対するタコバイトのX線ピークの個別の比が示され得る。適用例1に記載のように、150ミリグラムのこの触媒を、トルエンジアミンへのジニトロトルエンのパルス水素化のために使用した。この反応の選択性は、99.5%トルエンジアミンより大きく、第6表及び第1グラフにおいて、活性データポイントを以下に示す。この触媒の初期活性はCE3よりも低かったが、この触媒はCE3より非活性化の速度が非常に低く、反応の間、CE3よりも活性が大きくなり、より大きな活性が維持された。反応が進行するにつれて、触媒の非活性化の速度は、ゼロに非常に近くなった。故に、この触媒は、CE3よりもかなり良好である。

100〜110℃の間で20質量%のNaOH水性懸濁液中でNiと、Alと、Feとを含有する合金を活性化し、それにより3.87質量%のAlと、0.22質量%のFeとを含有する活性化Ni触媒を得て、0.11質量%のMoの最終的なMo含有量にモリブデン酸アンモニウム塩の水溶液をドープした。この触媒は、17μmのAPS値を有し、適用例3に記載の通りのタコバイトの形成について試験を行った。52°の2θでのニッケルのX線回折ピーク高さに対する12°、24°、35°、40°及び47°の2θでのタコバイトのX線回折ピーク高さの合計の比は、2.5であることが分かった。第2表に、12°、24°、35°、40°及び47°の2θでのニッケルに対するタコバイトのX線ピークの個別の比が示され得る。適用例1に記載のように、300ミリグラムのこの触媒を、トルエンジアミンへのジニトロトルエンのパルス水素化のために使用した。この反応の選択性は、99.5%トルエンジアミンより大きく、第8表及び第2グラフにおいて、活性データポイントを以下に示す。

100〜110℃の間で20質量%のNaOH水性懸濁液中でNiと、Alと、Crと、Feとを含有する合金を活性化し、それにより4.53質量%のAlと、1.51質量%のCrと、0.29質量%のFeとを含有する活性化Ni触媒を得て、0.13質量%のMoの最終的なMo含有量にモリブデン酸アンモニウム塩の水溶液をドープした。この触媒は、23μmのAPS値を有した。適用例2に記載のように、この触媒を、アニリンへのニトロベンゼンのバッチ式水素化のために使用した。この触媒のニトロベンゼン水素化活性は80mL(H2)/分/グラム(触媒)であることが分かった(第1表参照)。適用例1に記載のように、300ミリグラムのこの触媒を、トルエンジアミンへのジニトロトルエンのパルス水素化のために使用した。この反応の選択性は、99.5%トルエンジアミンより大きく、第12表及び第2グラフにおいて、活性データポイントを以下に示す。

Claims (39)
- 触媒の表面上への吸着によってMg、Ca、Ba、Ti、Zr、Ce、Nb、Cr、Mo、W、Mn、Re、Fe、Co、Ir、Ni、Cu、Ag、Au、Bi、Rh及びRuのリストからの1種以上の元素がドープされた活性化Ni触媒によるニトロ化合物の水素化であって、各ドーピング元素の量が0.01質量%〜10質量%の範囲であり、Al含有量が0.05質量%〜10質量%である、水素化。
- 触媒の表面上への吸着によってCr、Mo、Fe、Co、Ni、Cu、Ag及びAuのリストからの1種以上の元素がドープされた活性化Ni触媒によるニトロ化合物の水素化であって、各ドーピング元素の量が0.01質量%〜5質量%の範囲であり、Al含有量が0.05質量%〜10質量%である、水素化。

- 活性化前にNi/Al合金にMg、Ti、Ce、V、Cr、Mo、W、Mn、Re、Fe、Ru、Co、Rh、Ir、Pd、Pt及びBiのリストからの1種以上の元素を添加した後、Mg、Ti、Ce、V、Cr、Cu、W、Mn、Re、Fe、Ru、Co、Rh、Ir、Pd、Pt、Bi、Ag及びAuのリストからの1種以上の元素と組み合わせて触媒の表面上へのその吸着を介したMoのドーピングによってドープされた活性化Ni触媒であって、各ドーピング元素の量が0.01質量%〜5質量%の範囲であり、Al含有量が0.05質量%〜10質量%である、活性化Ni触媒。
