Description

図2に示す実施形態においては、任意のバリア層20、22を中間層16、及び第1層12と第2層14の間にそれぞれ形成する。バリア層20、22は、例えば非限定的にエポキシ樹脂と化学的及び熱的に共存可能である別の熱可塑性材料、又はナイロン布(Cerex)等の材料を含むことができる。このバリア層20、22は、中間層16におけるVEMの移動及び層12、14でのエポキシ樹脂の移動を制限するように機能することにより、これら2つの材料が分離され混合が避けられる。VEMとエポキシ樹脂の混合により、中間層16の減衰特性が低下する可能性がある。満足な結果をもたらす一実施形態では、バリア層20、22の厚さは0.0005〜0.002インチの間であってよい。バリア層20、22はまた、VEM膜が自動テープ敷設装置を使用して取り出されるのに好適になるように働く。各バリア層20、22は比較的剛性であるため、自動の繊維配置製造工程で使用される際に、マルチヘッドテープレイヤー(MHTL)装置を使用して1本のロールからVEM膜をはがすことが可能になる。

Claims (15)

  1. カーボン繊維強化プラスチック材料の第1層と第2層、
    第1層と第2層の間に配置される、減衰材料の第3層、
    第3層の減衰材料内に配置される繊維強化媒体、
    第1層と第3層との間に配置されてこれらの層に接触する第1バリア層、
    第2層と第3層との間に配置されてこれらの層に接触する第2バリア層、
    を含み、
    第1バリア層と第2バリア層は、.0005インチから0.002インチの厚さを有すること、
    第1バリア層と第2バリア層は繊維を含有すること、
    前記繊維は、第1層、第2層の材料と第3層の材料との混じり合いを防止する繊維であること、
    を備える、
    減衰複合積層板。
  2. 減衰材料が粘弾性材料を含前記繊維は、エポキシ樹脂と化学的及び熱的に共存可能な熱可塑性材料、又はナイロン布である、請求項1に記載の減衰複合積層板。
  3. 第3層の全ての側面が第1層と第2層で囲まれている、請求項1または2に記載の減衰複合積層板。
  4. 強化媒体が粘弾性材料に組み込まれた繊維を含む、請求項2または3に記載の減衰複合積層板。
  5. 繊維の長さが第1層と第2層の面に対して直角の方向に延びている、請求項4に記載の減衰複合積層板。
  6. 減衰材料が、第1ガラス転移温度を有する第1粘弾性材料を含み、
    繊維強化媒体が、第1ガラス転移温度よりも高い第2ガラス転移温度を有する第2粘弾性材料で含浸された繊維を含む
    請求項1に記載の減衰複合積層板。
  7. 減衰材料が、第1ガラス転移温度を有する第1粘弾性材料を含み、
    繊維強化媒体が、第1粘弾性材料の中に組み込まれた第2粘弾性材料の粗目織物を含み、第2粘弾性材料のガラス転移温度が、第1粘弾性材料のガラス転移温度よりも高い、
    請求項1に記載の減衰複合積層板。
  8. 繊維強化媒体が減衰材料の中に含まれる含有物を含み、
    含有物が、
    細断したカーボン繊維、
    繊維房、
    Z繊維、
    繊維強化樹脂の分割テープ、
    セラミックマイクロバルーン、
    ナノ繊維、
    ナノチューブ
    のうち少なくとも1つである、
    請求項1に記載の減衰複合積層板。
  9. 第3層の減衰材料はガラス転移温度を有し、減衰材料内の繊維強化媒体は、減衰材料のガラス転移温度より高いガラス転移温度を有する、請求項1に記載の減衰複合積層板。
  10. 繊維強化媒体が各バリア層と第3層の間の硬い接続部を含み、
    第3層が穿孔を含み、
    硬い接続部が、穿孔内に配置され各バリア層と第2層の間に延びている樹脂を含む、
    請求項1に記載の減衰複合積層板。
  11. 繊維強化プラスチック材料の第1層と第2層、
    第1層と第2層の間に配置される、粘弾性材料の第3層、
    第3層の粘弾性材料内に配置される繊維強化媒体、
    第1層と第3層との間に配置されてこれらの層に接触する第1バリア層、
    第2層と第3層との間に配置されてこれらの層に接触する第2バリア層、
    を含み、
    第1バリア層と第2バリア層は、.0005インチから0.002インチの厚さを有すること、
    第1バリア層と第2バリア層は繊維を含有すること、
    前記繊維は、第1層、第2層の材料と第3層の材料との混じり合いを防止する繊維であること、
    を備える、
    減衰複合積層板。
  12. 第3層の粘弾性材料はガラス転移温度を有し、粘弾性材料内の繊維強化媒体は、粘弾性材料のガラス転移温度より高いガラス転移温度を有する、請求項11に記載の減衰複合積層板。
  13. 粘弾性材料が熱可塑性ポリウレタンである、請求項11または12に記載の減衰複合積層板。
  14. 繊維強化材が、粘弾性材料の中に分散された単繊維を含む、請求項11から13のいずれか一項に記載の減衰複合積層板。
  15. 繊維強化材が、第1層と第2層に同時硬化される、請求項11に記載の減衰複合積層板。
