Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an electronic component mounting structure.
As a noise filter for preventing leakage and intrusion of noise through power supply and signal wirings, for example, an electronic component in which an inductor and a capacitor described in
In recent years, with the increase in the frequency of electronic devices, it is required that components used in the electronic device also support the higher frequency. However, in the conventional electronic component described in
An object of the present invention is to provide a mounting structure for an electronic component that can maintain high impedance in a high frequency band while maintaining low impedance in a low frequency band.
By the way, the inventor of the present application has intensively studied to realize a mounting structure of an electronic component having high impedance in a high frequency band. As a result, the inductor component functions in the low frequency band, and the resistance component mainly functions in the high frequency band. We focused on the characteristics of bead inductors. Then, we came up with the idea of using the characteristics of bead inductors that behave differently in the low frequency band and the high frequency band in the mounting structure of electronic components that have low impedance in the low frequency band and high impedance in the high frequency band. And a bead inductor connected in series between the power lines.
Based on such examination results, the multilayer capacitor of the present invention is a mounting structure of an electronic component connected to a power supply line for supplying current to a power supply, and includes a capacitor and a bead inductor as the electronic component, A capacitor and a bead inductor are mounted in series between the power supply lines.
According to the above mounting structure, since the capacitor and the bead inductor are connected between the power supply lines so as to be in series, the resistance component of the bead inductor acts as an equivalent series resistance (hereinafter simply referred to as ESR) of the capacitor. The resistance component of the bead inductor is constituted by the sum of a DC resistance component and a loss that increases in a high frequency band. Therefore, according to this mounting structure, it is possible to increase the impedance in the high frequency band, and it is possible to suitably remove the high frequency noise. On the other hand, in the bead inductor, the inductor component functions rather than the resistance component in the low frequency band, so that the mounting structure can keep the impedance small in the low frequency band. And since the capacitor | condenser is mounted with respect to the low frequency noise, the low frequency noise is absorbed with the said capacitor | condenser and can be removed suitably.
The bead inductor is preferably a bead inductor array. By mounting the bead inductor array, the DC resistance and the equivalent series inductance (hereinafter simply referred to as ESL) can be reduced, and as a result, the impedance in the low frequency band can be reduced.
The bead inductor extends in the long side direction of the first and second main surfaces so as to connect the rectangular first and second main surfaces facing each other and the first and second main surfaces and The first and second side surfaces facing each other and the third and fourth side surfaces extending in the short side direction of the first and second main surfaces so as to connect the first and second main surfaces and facing each other. A bead body including a ferrite material as a main component, a first terminal electrode disposed on a first side of the bead body, and a second disposed on a second side of the bead body. It is preferable to provide a terminal electrode and an internal conductor disposed in the bead body and connected to the first and second terminal electrodes. In this case, since the current path passing through the inner conductor of the bead inductor is shortened, the DC resistance and the equivalent series inductance (ESL) can be reduced in the mounting structure, and as a result, the impedance in the low frequency band can be reduced.
The capacitor extends in the long side direction of the first and second main surfaces so as to connect the rectangular first and second main surfaces facing each other and the first and second main surfaces and face each other. First and second side surfaces, and third and fourth side surfaces extending in the short side direction of the first and second main surfaces so as to connect the first and second main surfaces and facing each other. A capacitor element body having dielectric characteristics, a first terminal electrode disposed on a first side surface of the capacitor element body, and a second terminal electrode disposed on a second side surface of the capacitor element body A first internal electrode connected to the first terminal electrode, and a second internal electrode connected to the second terminal electrode, wherein the first and second internal electrodes are capacitor bodies. The capacitor body is preferably disposed so as to face each other with a part of the capacitor body interposed therebetween. In this case, since the current path passing through the internal electrode is shortened, the ESL of the capacitor can be reduced.
The electronic component includes an element body, first and second terminal electrodes and first and second external connection conductors disposed on an outer surface of the element body, and the element body includes a capacitor unit that is a capacitor. And a capacitor portion of the element body having a dielectric property and a first and a second element disposed in the element body so as to face each other with a part of the element body interposed therebetween. The internal body bead portion includes a ferrite material and includes first and second internal conductors disposed in the internal body. The first internal electrode of the capacitor portion includes The second internal electrode of the capacitor portion is connected to the second external connection conductor, and the first internal conductor of the bead portion is connected to the first terminal electrode and the first external connection. The second inner conductor of the bead portion is connected to both of the conductors, and the second terminal electrode and It may be connected to both the second external connection conductor. In this case, since one component includes a capacitor and a bead inductor, only one component needs to be mounted, and mounting efficiency is good.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the mounting structure of the electronic component which can be made into a high impedance in a high frequency band can be provided, maintaining a low impedance in a low frequency band.

FIG. 7 shows an equivalent circuit diagram of the mounting structure according to the embodiment. As shown in FIG. 7, the
FIG. 8 shows a graph of ESR with respect to the frequency of the electronic components (
As is apparent from the graph G1 in FIG. 8, in the electronic component (
Thus, according to the mounting structure according to the embodiment, since the
Since the
As described above, according to the mounting structure according to the embodiment, the resistance component on the high frequency side increases, so that the noise power can be further consumed by this resistance component, and propagation to the other can be suppressed. Further, since the resistance component in the low frequency band does not increase, the increase in low frequency noise is suppressed.
In the
Since the bead inductor has an inductor component, the high-frequency impedance increases, and the effectiveness of the resistance component may be deteriorated. Since the
Specifically, for example, it is preferable to have a DC resistance of about 0.5Ω to 2.0Ω at 100 MHz to 1 GHz. That is, it is preferable that the DC resistance behave in such a manner that the increase start position of ESR in the graph G1 in FIG. 8 corresponds to 100 MHz, and the position where the increase is stable corresponds to 1 GHz. Thereby, radiation noise can be reduced suitably.
The inductor component of the
In the mounting structure according to the embodiment, the
In the
