Abstract
Description
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention can be used as a sealing agent for automobile steel plate joints, an undercoat agent used for vehicle parts such as under floors and wheel houses, a rocking panel, a chipping-resistant agent used for a lower part of a door, a fender, etc. The present invention relates to an acrylic sol composition.
Acrylic sol compositions generally used as sealing agents and the like include those based on vinyl chloride resins and those based on acrylic resins that have begun to be used as substitutes. All of these contain a plasticizer in order to be heated and gelled. The temperature at which this gelation is started is 60 to 70 ° C. or higher. When gelation is carried out with a large amount of strong gelling plasticizer at a temperature lower than 60 ° C., the stability is lowered and the gel cannot be used practically.
If the plasticizer in the acrylic sol composition is heated in a calcining furnace, it will be taken into the vinyl chloride resin or acrylic resin and will not affect the paintability of other paints applied later. When the acrylic sol composition is wet and another coating is applied from above, the plasticizer tends to disturb the surface tension and deteriorate the coating appearance by shifting to the other coating.
On the other hand, recently, in particular, on the sealing agent for the purpose of improving the quality of the appearance of the sealing agent, requesting shortening of the process in the automobile production line, or reducing oven fuel and CO 2. The importance of baking a sealing agent is increasing due to a tendency to increase the number of production lines for baking an applied intermediate coating and top coating together.
However, increasing the number of steps for baking the sealing agent is contrary to shortening the above steps and reducing fuel and the like.
In addition, when a sealing material is used for the joining portion of the steel plates, the air existing in the gap between the joining portions expands when the sealing agent is heated (40 to 60 ° C.) and cured. There was a problem that the agent expanded and the appearance was impaired.
In order to avoid this problem, it is necessary to use a sealing agent that exhibits physical properties at a temperature of 40 ° C. or higher, and a strong gelling plasticizer or a low-temperature gelling resin is used.
However, such a resin has a problem that it cannot be used in a normal production line because its viscosity increases when used or stored at a normal temperature.
In order to solve the above problem, for example,
However, the compositions disclosed in
Therefore, in order to solve the above problems, the present invention is an acrylic sol composition that does not require a calcining furnace and has an excellent appearance, and has a sufficient ductility and excellent adhesion. It is an object to provide an acrylic sol composition that can be formed.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors have found a solving means as follows as a result of intensive studies.
As described in
Further, the present invention according to
The invention according to
The invention according to
According to the acrylic sol composition of the present invention, a coating film having excellent ductility can be formed. Further, it becomes possible to fix the plasticizer by curing the ultraviolet resin by ultraviolet irradiation, and the plasticizer does not shift to the coating applied later even if the subsequent coating is applied in a wet state. Moreover, since there is no need for heating at a high temperature, an excellent appearance without swelling is obtained by curing before the air entrained in the joint or the like expands. In addition, since there is no need for heating in order to fix the plasticizer, it is not necessary to use a strong gelling plasticizer or a low-temperature gelling plasticizer, so that it has excellent storage stability at room temperature to 40 ° C. It will be a thing.
As described above, the acrylic sol composition of the present invention has 25 to 250 parts by weight of a polyester oligomer or an aliphatic (including alicyclic) urethane oligomer as an ultraviolet curable resin with respect to 100 parts by weight of an acrylic resin. It contains 0.5 to 50 parts by weight of an initiator, 2.5 to 10 parts by weight of a latent curing agent, and 15 to 150 parts by weight of a blocked isocyanate-containing urethane prepolymer as an adhesive.
As the acrylic resin, for example, a single polymer or copolymer of a monomer selected from alkyl acrylate, alkyl methacrylate, and the like can be used. Specific examples of the monomer include methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, n-propyl acrylate, isopropyl acrylate, n-butyl acrylate, isobutyl acrylate, sec-butyl acrylate, ter-butyl acrylate, cyclohexyl acrylate, benzyl acrylate, and methyl methacrylate. , Ethyl methacrylate, n-propyl methacrylate, isopropyl methacrylate, n-butyl methacrylate, isobutyl methacrylate, sec-butyl methacrylate, ter-butyl methacrylate, cyclohexyl methacrylate, benzyl methacrylate and the like. Moreover, styrene, (alpha) -methylstyrene, methacrylic acid, acrylic acid, itaconic acid, crotonic acid etc. can also be used as a copolymerization component. This type is in the form of fine particles, and it is particularly preferable to use a core-shell type composed of a core part and a shell part.
Among polyester oligomers and aliphatic (including alicyclic) urethane oligomers, the main chain has a urethane structure composed of polyester, aliphatic (including alicyclic) diisocyanate and polyol, and molecular terminals. However, it is preferable to use an oligomer such as an acryloyl group. Examples of the isocyanate include hexamethylene diisocyanate, isophorone diisocyanate, trimethylhexamethylene diisocyanate, dimer acid diisocyanate, hydrogenated tolylene diisocyanate, hydrogenated diphenylmethane diisocyanate, and hydrogenated xylylene diisocyanate.
The oligomer content is set to 25 to 250 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the acrylic resin. When the amount is less than 25 parts by weight, curing by ultraviolet rays is insufficient, and when the amount exceeds 250 parts by weight, the molecular weight is larger than that of the monomer, the viscosity is high, and the coating workability tends to be remarkably deteriorated.
Examples of the polymerization initiator include benzoin, alkylphenone (benzyldimethyl ketal, α-hydroxyalkylphenone, α-aminoalkylphenone, etc.), acylphosphine oxide (monoacylphosphine oxide, bisacylphosphine oxide). Etc.), sulfur compounds such as titanocene, oxime ester, oxyphenylacetate, tetramethylthiuram disulfide and the like can be used.
This polymerization initiator is contained in an amount of 0.5 to 50 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the acrylic resin. When the amount is less than 0.5 part by weight, ultraviolet curing becomes insufficient. When the amount exceeds 50 parts by weight, a large amount of unreacted material remains and the coating film performance deteriorates.
Among the polymerization initiators, it is preferable to use an acyl phosphine oxide-based compound because it is necessary to cure to the deep part of the thick film with ultraviolet rays. Furthermore, it is preferable to mix an alkylphenone-based α-hydroxyalkylphenone compound with the acylphosphine oxide-based compound. This is because the polymerization efficiency can be improved and surface hardening can be promoted.
Furthermore, in order to increase the photopolymerization initiation efficiency, a photosensitizer may be used in combination. Examples of the photosensitizer include aromatic and aliphatic tertiary amines.
The application conditions and curing conditions of the acrylic sol composition of the present invention are not particularly limited, but if an example is given, the application conditions are a film thickness of about 0.5 to 3 mm and a room temperature to 40 ° C. was coated in extent, UV curing conditions may be the 3000mJ / cm 2 ~6000mJ / cm 2 .
Examples of the latent curing agent include polyamines and modified products, aromatic amines and modified products, hydrazides, etc., which are inactive at room temperature, but are particularly activated by heating and react with isocyanate. Any of them can be used, and 2.5 to 10 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of acrylic resin is contained.
Moreover, a block isocyanate containing urethane prepolymer is used as an adhesive. The blocked isocyanate-containing urethane prepolymer is obtained by blocking residual isocyanate of polyurethane obtained by reacting isocyanate and α-polyol such as polyether polyol or polyester polyol with a blocking agent.

Examples of the polyisocyanate compound include trimethylene diisocyanate, tetramethylene diisocyanate, hexamethylene diisocyanate, pentamethylene diisocyanate, 2,4,4- or 2,2,4-trimethylhexamethylene diisocyanate, dodecamethylene diisocyanate, 1,3-cyclohexane. Pentane diisocyanate, 1,6-hexane diisocyanate, 1,4-cyclohexane diisocyanate, 1,3-cyclohexane diisocyanate, 4,4'-methylenebis (cyclohexyl isocyanate),

For example, phthalate ester plasticizers include dimethyl phthalate (DMP), diethyl phthalate (DEP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP), dihexyl phthalate (DHP), di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DOP), diisodecyl phthalate (DIDP) , Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), diisononyl phthalate (DINP), dinonyl phthalate (DNP), etc., and phosphate ester plasticizers such as tricresyl phosphate (TCP), trixylylene phosphate (TXP), adipic acid ester Examples of the plasticizer include dioctyl adipate (DOA) and diisodecyl adipate (DIDA). Examples of the sebacate plasticizer include dibutyl sebacate (DBS) and dioctyl sebacate (DOS). It is, although these one may be used alone or in combination of two or more, in particular phthalate-based plasticizer is preferable.
