Abstract
Description
In the present invention, a ballpoint pen tip that rotatably holds a ball is attached to the tip of a shaft tube, either directly or via a tip holder, and ink for ballpoint pen and a rear portion of the ink are placed inside the shaft tube. The present invention relates to a ballpoint pen directly packed with a grease-like ink follower that follows consumption.
The conventional ballpoint pen, which is directly packed with low-viscosity water-based ink or shear-thinning ink inside the shaft tube, has the effect of air stagnation and gravity when writing with the pen tip facing upward, Alternatively, there is a problem that ink filled in the shaft tube flows backward due to impact or the like when dropped.
In particular, in a ballpoint pen that fills the inside of the barrel directly with ink for ballpoint pens, if the ink flows backward, there is a problem that the ink easily leaks to the outside, and there is a problem of soiling clothes, etc. It is eager to prevent.
As means for preventing the backflow of ink in a conventional ballpoint pen, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 10-258597 “Ballpoint pen” and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2003-291579 “Ballpoint pen for cloth writing” It is disclosed to fill a grease-like ink follower.
However, in
In
In view of the above problems, the present invention provides a ballpoint pen that can prevent leakage to the outside even when ink flows backward.
In order to achieve the above object, in the present invention, a ballpoint pen tip holding a ball rotatably is attached to the tip of the shaft tube, either directly or via a chip holder, and the ballpoint pen ink and A grease-like ink follower that follows the ink consumption is directly packed in the rear part of the ink, and a press-fitting part of a tail plug having an air flow passage communicating with the inside and outside of the shaft cylinder is press-fitted into the rear end part of the shaft cylinder. A ball-point pen that is mounted, wherein a substantially bottomed cylindrical holding portion having a diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the shaft cylinder and having an opening at the tip is formed at the tip of the tail plug, and the inner wall of the shaft cylinder A space portion is provided between the outer walls of the holding portion, and an ink backflow prevention plug made of a polymer porous body or a fiber converging body is disposed in the holding portion.
Further, the air flow passage of the tail plug is connected to the press-fitting portion of the tail plug from a communication hole formed in the vicinity of the bottom surface of the holding portion of the tail plug through a spiral groove formed in the press-fitting portion of the tail plug. From the vent hole leading to the inside of the tail plug, the rear end opening is communicated.
Furthermore, the outer diameter of the holding portion is gradually reduced toward the distal end side.
Furthermore, the inner diameter of the rear end portion of the shaft cylinder into which the tail plug is press-fitted is larger than the inner diameter of the portion filled with the ink for ballpoint pen and the grease-like ink follower.
The present invention can provide a ballpoint pen that can prevent leakage to the outside even when ink flows backward.
In the present invention, an ink backflow prevention plug such as a polymer porous body or a fiber converging body normally ensures a sufficient air flow rate and exhibits good writing followability while the ink once flows back. The polymer porous body or fiber converging body can prevent leakage of ink to the outside.
As described above, the ink backflow prevention stopper needs to ensure a sufficient amount of air flow at normal times, and has a certain gap. Therefore, in order to prevent the ink from leaking to the outside, a structure is required in which the ink backflow prevention plug serves as a resistance of the ink that flows back when the backflowed ink contacts the ink backflow prevention plug. For example, when backflowed ink comes into contact with the ink backflow prevention stopper, the backflow rate of the ink etc. is dulled to vaporize the solvent of the ink for the ballpoint pen and increase the solid content concentration, resulting in an increase in viscosity. As a result of the decrease in fluidity, the concentration of solid content increases due to the absorption of the ink of the ballpoint pen ink into the ink backflow prevention stopper, the viscosity increases, the fluidity decreases, and the ink of the ballpoint pen ink becomes the ink. Absorbed by the backflow prevention plug and swells to close the gap inside the fiber converging body, and the pigment contained in the ink for the ballpoint pen closes the gap inside the ink backflow prevention plug. It is conceivable to provide resistance.
Examples of the polymer porous body in the present invention include polyurethane foams such as ester polyurethane and ether polyurethane. Ester polyurethane is one in which the polymer chain of polyol, the main raw material of urethane foam, consists of ester bonds, and ether polyurethane is one in which the polymer chain of polyol, the main raw material of urethane foam, consists of ether bonds. is there. In general, ester bonds and ether bonds differ in bond energy strength, molecular chain flexibility, molecular chain intermolecular interactions, etc., and they differ in strength, hardness, water resistance, oil resistance, etc. Therefore, it can be used by appropriately selecting the ink for the ballpoint pen to be used according to the characteristics.
There are polyurethane foams that have cell membranes and those that do not have cell membranes, and those that have cell membranes, when the ballpoint pen ink flows backward, the cell membranes block the ink flow path. For this reason, in order to prevent backflow leakage of ink, it is preferable to use a polymer porous body having a cell membrane. The cell film may be a portion of the polymer porous body formed with a three-dimensional network structure in which a thin film is stretched, which is called a cell film.
In addition, there are polymer porous materials having open cells and closed cells, but those having closed cells do not allow air to pass through, so that air exchange is hindered and writing may not be possible. There is. Therefore, it is preferable to use a polymer porous body having open cells that can obtain a constant air flow rate.
The fiber converging body includes nylon fibers such as
The colorant used in the present invention is not particularly limited to dyes, pigments, and the like, and can be appropriately selected and used. However, the pigment easily closes the voids in the polymer porous body or fiber converging body. Most preferably it contains. Examples of pigments include inorganic, organic, and processed pigments. Specifically, carbon black, aniline black, ultramarine, yellow lead, titanium oxide, iron oxide, phthalocyanine, azo, quinacridone, quinophthalone, and selenium , Triphenylmethane, perinone, perylene, goxazine, aluminum pigment, pearl pigment, fluorescent pigment, phosphorescent pigment, complementary color pigment, microcapsule pigment, and the like. Further, colored resin particles in which the pigment is covered with a transparent or translucent resin or the like, or colored resin particles or colorless resin particles colored with a pigment or a dye can also be used. These dyes and pigments may be used alone or in combination of two or more. The content is preferably 1% by mass to 20% by mass with respect to the total amount of the ink composition.
Moreover, it is preferable that the average particle diameter of the pigment is larger because the voids inside the porous polymer body or the fiber converging body are easily blocked. Specifically, when the average particle diameter is less than 1 μm, it is difficult to block the voids inside the polymer porous body or fiber converging body, and when the average particle diameter exceeds 20 μm, the polymer porous body or fiber converging body Although it becomes easy to block internal voids, it is difficult to suppress sedimentation of the pigment, and the writing performance and the stability over time of the ink are deteriorated. Therefore, the average particle diameter is preferably 1 μm to 20 μm, and the average particle diameter is 3 μm to 10 μm. Most preferably.

That. Moreover, you may use together an above-described oil-based solvent and a water-soluble solvent.
As described above, the ink for ballpoint pens of the present invention includes both oily and water-based inks, and the ink viscosity is not limited. However, considering ink backflow and followability, the shear rate is 1.92 sec. In -1 , it is more preferable to set it to 10 mPa * s-5000 mPa * s. More preferably, it is 500 Pa · s to 3000 mPa · s. The ink viscosity is measured using a Brookfield DVII + Pro type viscometer (CPE-42 cone plate) in a 20 ° C. environment at a shear rate of 1.92 sec −1 (rotation speed: 0.5 rpm). be able to.
Moreover, you may contain a shear thinning property imparting agent for ink viscosity adjustment, such as setting it as the above-mentioned ink viscosity. Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. However, the ballpoint pen of the present invention is not limited to the embodiments. In addition, the same number is attached | subjected about the same member and the same component in drawing.
The ballpoint pen 1 shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 5 has a
In addition, the
The
Further, the
When the ink pen follower 9 passes through the ink follower 9 when the
Further, although depending on the ink composition, the solvent in the ink is absorbed by the ink
Even if the
The larger the difference between the outer diameter of the holding
Similarly, the inner diameter of the
When the fluid such as ink flows backward, the ball-
This is because, in the latter case, when the oil in the composition constituting the ink follower 9 is separated, the liquid flows along the inner wall surface of the
After that, when the volume of the
As described above, when the part required for writing, such as ink for ballpoint pens, is safe, when the oil content of the ink follower 9 that has flowed out due to oil separation comes into contact with the ink
The shape of the ink
Further, as the ink
In addition, the
The flow rate of air passing through the ink
Further, when the hardness of the ink
In the present embodiment, a fiber converging body is used as the ink
The method of manufacturing the ballpoint pen of the present invention is not particularly limited, but after the ink
Although not shown, a coil spring that presses the ball against the inner wall of the tip of the tip is provided in the ballpoint pen tip directly or via a pressing body to prevent ink from dripping and cause ink backflow. It is most preferable to suppress air entrapment.
The ball-point pen of the present invention can be widely used as a water-based, oil-based, etc. ball-point pen, and more preferably used as a ball-point pen used for writing work around a precision machine to prevent leakage to the outside due to backflow of ink.
