Abstract
【解決手段】 内燃エンジンからの排気が流入する入口筒と外部への出口筒および再循環装置への出口筒が交差する部位で構成されるハウジング内に、バタフライバルブを設ける。このバタフライバルブはそれらの筒の接続部位の前方の、そこに流れる流体に対して邪魔になる位置にあり、モータで動かすことで流体の流れを制御し、再循環装置に流れる排気ガスの量を制御する。ハウジング内に制御用モータを組み込むとバルブ装置全体をコンパクトにすることができ、また冷却手段をも組み込むと、関連部分を適正な温度に保てるために非耐熱性素材の密封体が使用できるため、コストを押さえることができる。
Description
第2の極限位置において、バタフライバルブ10は、出口筒5の隣の接続壁7に沿う部位10.2と、出口筒4を閉塞する部位10.1を有する。部位10.2の自由縁は、接続壁7に当接している。接続壁7の部位10.2の背後には、凹み17が設けられ、狭い空間が形成されている。

Claims (6)
- バタフライバルブ10を、流体を主として最初の出口筒に向わせる第1の限界位置と、流体を主に2番目の出口筒に向かわせる第2の限界位置の間で動くようにモータ9に接続されている分岐部6を形成する2つの流体の出口筒4、5への、流体の入口筒3の開口部の限界を定める弁体2を備えるバルブシステムであって、バタフライバルブ10が接続部の前に設けられていることにより、バタフライバルブ10が前述の接続部の流体に対して遮蔽物となるように、モータが両出口筒の間で、出口筒同士の接続部7の近くに配置されていることを特徴とするバルブ装置。
- モータ9は、出口筒4、5の接続部である接続壁7を有するハウジング8に内蔵されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバルブ装置。
- ハウジング8は、接続部である接続壁7の冷却手段13、14を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバルブ装置。
- バタフライバルブが極限位置にあるときに、バタフライバルブ10の部位10.1、10.2の一方が、ハウジング8の接続壁7に向かって開くようになっていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のバルブ装置。
- バタフライバルブ10は、ハウジング8自体に組み込まれ、冷却手段13の影響を受けやすいベアリング12により両端を支えられている回転軸11で保持されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のバルブ装置。
- バタフライバルブ10は、接続壁7のごく近い部位に沿って設けられた回転軸11で保持されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のバルブ装置。
