The present invention relates to a wireless LAN system, an access point congestion control method, an access point congestion control program, and a program recording medium, and relates to a wireless LAN system for preventing concentration of wireless LAN clients on a specific access point in an environment using a wireless LAN, The present invention relates to an access point congestion control method, an access point congestion control program, and a program recording medium. In particular, the present invention can be suitably applied to a wireless LAN system for public wireless LANs and private wireless LAN networks.
About.
Currently, there are a wide variety of terminals in the wireless LAN system. However, in the case of the conventional wireless LAN system, there is no restriction on movement of the wireless LAN client and the load is concentrated on a specific access point. Many have occurred.
However, in the conventional technique as described in Patent Document 1, when a wireless LAN client performs a handover, the electric field strength of the access point is detected, and the connection is made with priority given to the strongest radio wave. ing. In other words, when a wireless LAN client performs a handover, with respect to an access point to be connected, an access point to be connected is determined based only on information from the wireless LAN client side, and information of other wireless LAN clients is stored. Not trying to control at the same time.
For this reason, when a plurality of wireless LAN clients try to move to the same access point at the same time, the preparation of the handover destination access point is not in time. Will occur. This is because congestion due to simultaneous transition occurs at the access point of the handover destination, and furthermore, congestion occurs in the surrounding access points and cannot be bypassed. It has become.
More specifically, in the wireless LAN control environment in which the wireless LAN client handover control is performed without acquiring the conventional mobility management of a plurality of wireless LAN clients and the statistics of the bandwidth usage rate of each access point. Then, the following problems occur.
In a conventional wireless LAN system such as this, even though there may be movement of a plurality of wireless LAN clients, priority is given to the electric field strength on the wireless LAN client side, and congestion information before handover is used to The access point has been confirmed. For this reason, there may be a problem that congestion occurs at a time at the handover destination access point.
Also, once a specific access point becomes close to congestion, the congestion state is resolved unless the wireless LAN client connected to the access point moves and hands over to another access point. It will never be done. Therefore, when a handover to the access point in a state where other wireless LAN clients are close to congestion occurs, the connection cannot be established and disconnection or the like may occur.
That is, in an environment where there are a plurality of wireless LAN clients and a plurality of access points using a wireless LAN, in the case of a conventional wireless LAN system, a phenomenon in which connections are concentrated on a specific access point occurs, and communication reliability is increased. There is a problem that is significantly impaired.
The present invention has been made to solve such a problem. When a wireless LAN client performs handover of an access point, the movement direction of the wireless LAN client is predicted in advance and the movement predicted in advance is performed. By determining the access point in the direction and securing the bandwidth, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of congestion and ensure communication reliability even in an environment where a plurality of wireless LAN clients move. An object of the present invention is to provide a wireless LAN system, an access point congestion control method, a program thereof, and a program recording medium.
In order to solve the above problems, the wireless LAN system, the access point congestion control method, the access point congestion control program, and the program recording medium according to the present invention employ the following characteristic configurations.
(1) A wireless LAN system for connecting one or more wireless LAN clients to one or more access points, comprising a wireless LAN controller that collectively controls connection to access points for each wireless LAN client, The wireless LAN controller sequentially collects the location information of all wireless LAN clients connected to the wireless LAN system and the band usage rates of all access points constituting the wireless LAN system, so that the target wireless LAN client is connected. A wireless LAN system that determines an access point to be used and secures a band to be used.
According to the wireless LAN system, access point congestion control method, access point congestion control program, and program recording medium of the present invention, the following effects can be obtained.
Based on the predicted position obtained from the prediction of the moving direction of the wireless LAN client connected to the wireless LAN, the access point to be connected is determined, and handover control of the wireless LAN client is concentrated on the wireless LAN controller side. Since it is implemented, it is possible to eliminate concentration of access points at the handover destination of the wireless LAN client in one place, and disconnection due to congestion of a specific access point can be minimized. Thus, it is possible to improve communication reliability in a wireless LAN environment in which a plurality of wireless LAN clients are connected.
Preferred embodiments of a wireless LAN system, an access point congestion control method, an access point congestion control program, and a program recording medium according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, the access point congestion control method may be implemented as an access point congestion control program that can be executed by a computer. However, it goes without saying that the access point congestion control program may be recorded on a computer-readable recording medium.

Notify points. When there is an access point in a congested state, the wireless LAN client is notified to perform handover to an access point having a low usage rate in order to reduce the congestion.
By adopting the access point congestion control method as described above, connection control between the wireless LAN client and the access point can be centrally managed in the

(Description of operation example of this embodiment)
Next, an example of the operation of the wireless LAN system of this embodiment shown in FIG. 1 will be further described. First, the

Next, the statistical information collection unit 6 will be described. The statistical information collection unit 6 sequentially collects the bandwidth usage rates of the
Information regarding each of the
At this time, when the access points to be connected to the
In addition, when the information from the statistical information collection unit 6 that is sequentially notified includes congestion flag information indicating that the access point is in a congestion state, in order to reduce the congestion of the access point The access point candidate calculation unit 7 calculates another access point with a low usage rate as a candidate access point to be handed over. The calculated candidate access point to be handed over is sent to the connection notification unit 8, and the connection notification unit 8 performs handover to the wireless LAN client connected to the corresponding access point for which the congestion flag is set. To be handed over to a candidate access point. In this case, priority is given to wireless LAN client candidates urging handover that have the same distance difference between the corresponding congestion access point and the candidate access point to be handed over.
As described above, in the
