Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a centrifugal compressor that is used in a vehicle supercharger, a marine supercharger, a gas turbine, and the like and compresses a gas such as air using centrifugal force.
Various developments have been made on centrifugal compressors, and the configuration of a general centrifugal compressor is as follows.
That is, a general centrifugal compressor is provided with a casing, and this casing has a compression area for compressing air (an example of gas) inside. Further, a hub is disposed in the compression region of the casing, and the hub can rotate around an axis (a hub axis). A plurality of blades are arranged along the circumferential direction on the outer peripheral surface of the hub. Furthermore, an air supply port for supplying air to the blade side is formed in the upstream peripheral portion of the compression region of the casing, and an annular shape for discharging the compressed air is formed in the downstream peripheral portion of the compression region of the casing. The exhaust flow path is formed.
Therefore, when operating the centrifugal compressor, for example, the hub is rotated by rotating a turbine wheel (not shown) or the like, and all the blades are rotated integrally. Thereby, the air supplied to the blade side from the air supply port can be compressed using centrifugal force, and the compressed air can be exhausted from the exhaust passage.
By the way, when the pressure ratio of the centrifugal compressor is set high, the blade as the rotating body of the centrifugal compressor tends to have a higher peripheral speed. On the other hand, when the peripheral speed of the blade increases, the inlet relative Mach number of the air flow at the inlet of the compression region increases, reducing the efficiency of the centrifugal compressor (compressor efficiency) and avoiding blade resonance. Becomes difficult. That is, in a general centrifugal compressor, it is difficult to improve the efficiency of the centrifugal compressor and avoid blade resonance while increasing the pressure ratio of the centrifugal compressor.
Therefore, a centrifugal compression device that can solve the above-mentioned problems has been developed (see
That is, in the centrifugal compressor according to the prior art, two types of blades having different axial lengths (lengths parallel to the axial direction of the hub) are alternately arranged along the circumferential direction on the outer peripheral surface of the hub. It is installed. Here, the two types of blades having different axial lengths are a full blade extending from the inlet portion of the compression region to the outlet portion of the compression region, and a splitter blade extending from the downstream side of the inlet portion of the compression region to the outlet portion of the compression region. It is.
However, even the centrifugal compressor according to the prior art does not sufficiently satisfy the recent demand for higher pressure ratio and higher efficiency of the centrifugal compressor, and further improvement in the pressure ratio and efficiency of the centrifugal compressor. It is desired.
Then, an object of this invention is to provide the centrifugal compressor of a novel structure which can solve the above-mentioned subject.
A feature of the present invention is that in a centrifugal compressor that compresses gas using centrifugal force, a casing having a compression region for compressing gas inside, a compression center provided in the compression region of the casing, A hub that is rotatable about the hub's axial center) and three hubs that are arranged along the circumferential direction on the outer peripheral surface of the hub and that have different axial lengths (lengths parallel to the axial direction of the hub). A plurality of blade groups comprising seed blades, wherein an air supply port for supplying gas to the blade side is formed at an upstream peripheral portion of the compression region of the casing, and downstream of the compression region of the casing An annular exhaust passage for exhausting compressed gas is formed at the side peripheral edge, and the three kinds of blades constituting each blade group are full-blown extending from the inlet portion of the compression region to the outlet portion of the compression region. A first splitter blade extending from the downstream side of the inlet portion of the compression region to the outlet portion of the compression region and following the full blade as viewed from the direction of rotation of the hub, and downstream of the inlet portion of the compression region A second splitter blade extending from the side toward the outlet of the compression region and following the first splitter blade as viewed from the direction of rotation of the hub, wherein the axial length of the first splitter blade is When the outlet blade angle of the full blade is βf, the outlet blade angle of the first splitter blade is βs1, and the outlet blade angle of the second splitter blade is βs2, it is βs1 ≧ βf. The gist is that the relation of> βs2 is established.
In the claims and the description, the “upstream side” refers to the upstream side when viewed from the flow direction of the mainstream gas, and the “downstream side” refers to the flow direction of the mainstream gas. This is the downstream side.
The axial length of the first splitter blade is made shorter than the axial length of the second splitter blade so that the relationship βs1 ≧ βf> βs2 is established when these conditions are satisfied. This is based on a novel finding that the pressure ratio and efficiency (compressor efficiency) can be drastically improved as compared with the centrifugal compressor simulating the centrifugal compressor according to the prior art. The novel finding is that the axial length of the first splitter blade is shorter than the axial length of the second splitter blade, so that the shock wave standing on the blade surface of the full blade is around the front edge of the first splitter blade. By avoiding interference with the potential flow field and reducing energy loss, and the relationship βs1 ≧ βf> βs2 is established, the load balance of the three types of blades in each blade group is This is thought to be due to the improvement.
According to a feature of the invention, the hub is rotated to rotate all the blades together. Thereby, the gas supplied to the blade side from the air supply port can be compressed using centrifugal force, and the compressed air can be exhausted from the exhaust passage.
Here, since the full blade, the first splitter blade, and the second splitter blade extend to the outlet portion of the compression region, it is possible to sufficiently secure the number of blades existing at the outlet portion of the compression region. Further, since the first splitter blade and the second splitter blade extend from the downstream side of the inlet portion of the compression region, the number of the blades existing at the inlet portion of the compression region is reduced, and the compression is correspondingly performed. The inlet diameter of the region can be reduced, and the inlet relative Mach number of the gas flow at the inlet portion of the compression region (near the front edge of the full blade) can be reduced.
According to the present invention, since the number of the blades existing at the outlet portion of the compression region can be sufficiently secured, and the relative Mach number of the gas flow at the inlet portion of the compression region can be reduced, the centrifugal compression can be performed. It is possible to improve the efficiency of the centrifugal compressor and suppress the resonance of the blade while increasing the pressure ratio of the machine. And since the axial length of the first splitter blade is made shorter than the axial length of the second splitter blade and the relationship βs1 ≧ βf> βs2 is established, considering the above-mentioned new knowledge, Compared with the centrifugal compressor according to the above-mentioned prior art, the pressure ratio and efficiency of the centrifugal compressor can be dramatically improved.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a

Then, the principal part of embodiment of this invention is demonstrated.

As shown in FIG. 3, the axial length of the
Further, as shown in FIG. 4, when the outlet blade angle of the
The relationship of Ls2> Ls1 and the relationship of βs1 ≧ βf> βs2 are established when these relationships are established, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, according to the above-described prior art. Compared with a centrifugal compressor (not shown) simulating a centrifugal compressor, the pressure ratio and efficiency are dramatically improved, and the pressure ratio is further improved compared to a centrifugal compressor according to a comparative example (not shown). It is based on the new knowledge that it can. This new finding prevents the shock wave standing on the blade surface of the

An air supply port for supplying gas to the blade side on the upstream peripheral portion of the compression region of the casing is formed, and an annular exhaust flow for exhausting compressed gas to the downstream peripheral portion of the compression region of the casing A road is formed,
Three or more kinds of blades constituting each blade group include a full blade extending from an inlet portion of the compression region to an outlet portion of the compression region, and an outlet portion of the compression region from a downstream side of the inlet portion of the compression region. And a first splitter blade that follows the full blade as viewed from the direction of rotation of the hub, and extends from a downstream side of the inlet portion of the compression region to an outlet portion of the compression region and as viewed from the direction of rotation of the hub. A second splitter blade following the first splitter blade,
The axial length of the first splitter blade is shorter than the axial length of the second splitter blade,
When the outlet blade angle of the full blade is βf, the outlet blade angle of the first splitter blade is βs1, and the outlet blade angle of the second splitter blade is βs2.
A centrifugal compressor characterized in that a relationship of βs1 ≧ βf> βs2 is established.
