Claims (9)
- 立方晶窒化硼素と結合相と不可避的不純物とからなり、
逃げ面と、すくい面と、チャンファホーニング面と、逃げ面とチャンファホーニング面とが交差する稜線に形成された丸ホーニング面とを備え、丸ホーニング面の形状は曲率半径Rが10〜50μmの範囲であり、
立方晶窒化硼素の平均粒径の5倍以上を基準長さSとし、
チャンファホーニング面の基準長さSに含まれる立方晶窒化硼素の断面曲線の長さの合計をLCCと表し、
チャンファホーニング面の基準長さSに含まれる結合相の断面曲線の長さの合計をLCBと表し、
LCBに対するLCCの比をPC(PC=LCC/LCB)と表し、
丸ホーニング面の基準長さSに含まれる立方晶窒化硼素の断面曲線の長さの合計をLRCと表し、
丸ホーニング面の基準長さSに含まれる結合相の断面曲線の長さの合計をLRBと表し、
LRBに対するLRCの比をPR(PR=LRC/LRB)と表したとき、
PCに対するPRの比(PR/PC)は、1.2≦PR/PC≦8.0を満たす立方晶窒化硼素焼結体工具。 - 立方晶窒化硼素焼結体工具は立方晶窒化硼素:40〜90体積%と、結合相および不可避的不純物:残部とからなる請求項1に記載の立方晶窒化硼素焼結体工具。
- 立方晶窒化硼素の平均粒径は0.30〜6.0μmである請求項1または2に記載の立方晶窒化硼素焼結体工具。
- 立方晶窒化硼素焼結体工具の結合相は周期律表4a、5a、6a族元素、Al、Si、Mg、Co、Niの金属、窒化物、炭化物、硼化物、酸化物およびこれらの相互固溶体の中から選ばれた少なくとも1種からなる請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の立方晶窒化硼素焼結体工具。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の立方晶窒化硼素焼結体工具の表面に被膜を被覆した被覆立方晶窒化硼素焼結体工具。
- 被膜は周期律表4a、5a、6a族元素、Al、Si、B、Y、Mnの窒化物、炭化物、酸化物およびこれらの相互固溶体の中から選ばれる少なくとも1種からなる請求項5に記載の被覆立方晶窒化硼素焼結体工具。
- 立方晶窒化硼素焼結体の直上の被膜の結晶系は立方晶である請求項5または6に記載の被覆立方晶窒化硼素焼結体工具。
- 被膜は、TiとAlとを含む窒化物、炭化物、酸化物およびこれらの相互固溶体の中から選ばれた少なくとも1種からなる請求項5〜7のいずれか1項に記載の被覆立方晶窒化硼素焼結体工具。
- 被膜は(Ti(1-a-b)AlaMb)(X)(但し、MはY、Cr、Si、Zr、Nb、Mn、W、Hf、V、Bの中から選択される少なくとも1種の元素を示し、XはC、N、Oの中から選択される少なくとも1種の元素を示し、aはTi、Al、Mの合計に対するAlの原子比を示し、bはTi、Al、Mの合計に対するMの原子比を示し、aとbは、0.1≦a≦0.7、0.002≦b≦0.1を満足する。)からなる請求項5〜8のいずれか1項に記載の被覆立方晶窒化硼素焼結体工具。
