Description

The present invention relates to a reclining device that is provided between a seat back and a seat cushion and connects them so that the angle can be adjusted. In particular, the present invention relates to a reclining device capable of adjusting the angle steplessly.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a reclining device that can adjust an angle steplessly is known (see Patent Document 1). This type of reclining device has an external tooth member having external teeth on the outer peripheral surface and an internal tooth member having internal teeth having a larger number of external teeth on the inner peripheral surface, and bites the external teeth and internal teeth. By combining these teeth, the both tooth members are engaged in an eccentric state, and the outer tooth member revolves while rotating with respect to the inner tooth member, whereby the relative rotation angle of both tooth members changes. As a result, the angle of the seat back is adjusted with respect to the seat cushion.

Further, the outer tooth member has a support hole formed substantially at the center, and a support protrusion formed in a cylindrical shape is inserted into the support hole approximately at the center of the inner tooth member. Then, an arcuate wedge is installed between the support hole and the support protrusion, and both the toothed members cannot be rotated by pushing the wedge between the wall surface of the support hole and the support protrusion by a locking spring. Then, by pushing the wedge against the locking spring by the unlocking member, the both tooth members are brought into the unlocked state in which the two tooth members can be rotated relative to each other. The lock release member has a protrusion protruding toward the lock spring, and the lock spring has a resistance receiving portion that hits the protrusion. Therefore, when the unlocking member is rotated, the protrusion receives a spring force from the resistance receiving portion of the locking spring. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the turning torque of the unlocking member from increasing suddenly at the moment of hitting the wedge. Thus, the operability of the unlocking member can be improved, and the sound when the unlocking member hits the wedge can be reduced.
JP-A-7-284423

However, the locking spring is not only deformed by receiving a force from the protrusion of the unlocking member, but also deformed when the wedge is pushed by the unlocking member. As a result, the amount of deformation of the locking spring increases, and the locking spring may come off the wedge. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a reclining device having a structure that reduces the sound when the unlocking member hits the wedge, and has a configuration in which the locking spring is difficult to come off the wedge.

In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention is a reclining device having a configuration as described in each claim. That is, according to the first aspect of the present invention, it has both the external tooth member and the internal tooth member that rotate relative to each other while meshing in an eccentric state. And a support hole formed at one approximately center position of both tooth members, a support protrusion formed at the other approximately center position of both tooth members and entering the support hole, and between the support holes and the support protrusions A wedge provided on the support hole, a locking spring that locks both tooth members in a non-rotatable state by pushing the wedge between the wall surface of the support hole and the support protrusion, and both the wedges by pressing the wedge against the lock spring. It has the unlocking member which makes a tooth member relatively rotatable. An elastic member is provided between the unlocking member and the wedge and is formed separately from the locking spring and softens the impact of the unlocking member on the wedge.

Therefore, when unlocking, the unlocking member moves toward the wedge and the elastic member is elastically deformed. Therefore, the impact of the unlocking member on the wedge is reduced by the elastic force of the elastic member, and the sound that can be generated between the unlocking member and the wedge can be reduced. The elastic member is formed separately from the lock spring. Therefore, the lock spring is not elastically deformed for impact reduction, and can be prevented from being greatly elastically deformed for impact reduction and coming off the wedge.

According to invention of Claim 2, the elastic member is comprised with the spring which has a spring force smaller than the spring for a lock | rock. Therefore, when the lock is released, the elastic member is elastically deformed by the lock releasing member, and then the lock spring is elastically deformed. Therefore, smooth operability can be obtained by the two spring forces, and the sound that can be preferably generated between the unlocking member and the wedge can be reduced.

According to the third aspect of the present invention, the elastic member is disposed between the support hole and the support protrusion and between the wedge and the unlocking member. Therefore, since the elastic member is installed using these gaps, the elastic member can be stably accommodated. And it is possible to provide an elastic member without enlarging an apparatus.

According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, a pair of arcuate wedges are provided between the support hole and the support protrusion. The pair of wedges is biased in a direction away from each other by a locking spring. A wedge pressing portion of the unlocking member is disposed between the other ends of the pair of wedges. An elastic member is provided between the wedge pressing portion and each wedge. Therefore, the reclining device can be unlocked by rotating the unlocking member in any direction. Since the elastic member is elastically deformed in any rotation direction, the sound that can be generated between the lock release member and the wedge can be reduced.

(Embodiment 1)
The first embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. As shown in FIG. 1, the vehicle seat 10 is a seat mounted on a vehicle such as a vehicle, and includes a seat cushion 11 and a seat back 12. The seat cushion 11 and the seat back 12 have frames 11a and 12a. A reclining device 1 for connecting the seat back 12 to the seat cushion 11 so as to be adjustable in angle is provided between the frames 11a and 12a.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the reclining device 1 includes an outer tooth member 2, an inner tooth member 3, and a caulking ring 8 that rotatably attaches these members. The external tooth member 2 has an annular main body 2b having external teeth 2a on the outer peripheral surface and a flange 2d. A circular support hole 2c is formed at the center of the annular main body 2b. The flange 2d is provided integrally with a side portion of the annular main body 2b and has an annular shape having a larger diameter than the annular main body 2b. The flange 2d is formed with a plurality of mounting projections 2e that are fitted into the mounting holes 11a1 of the frame 11a.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the internal tooth member 3 includes an annular main body 3b having internal teeth 3a on the inner peripheral surface and a bottom body 3c. The inner peripheral diameter of the annular main body 3b is larger than the outer peripheral diameter of the annular main body 2b of the outer tooth member 2, and the number of inner teeth 3a is larger than the number of outer teeth 2a. Therefore, the annular main body 2b of the external tooth member 2 is installed in an eccentric state on the inner peripheral side of the internal tooth member 3, and several external teeth 2a mesh with the several internal teeth 3a. Therefore, when the external tooth member 2 revolves while rotating with respect to the internal tooth member 3, the relative rotation angle of the external tooth member 2 and the internal tooth member 3 changes. Thereby, the relative angle between the seat cushion 11 and the seat back 12 can be changed.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the bottom body 3c of the internal tooth member 3 is provided integrally with the side portion of the annular main body 3b and has a disk shape having a smaller diameter than the annular main body 3b. The bottom body 3c is formed with a plurality of mounting projections 3e that are fitted into mounting holes 12a1 formed in the frame 12a. A cylindrical support protrusion 3d is formed at the center of the bottom body 3c. The support protrusion 3 d protrudes into the support hole 2 c of the external tooth member 2.

As shown in FIG. 4, the support hole 2 c and the support protrusion 3 d are eccentric because the external tooth member 2 and the internal tooth member 3 mesh with each other in an eccentric state. Therefore, a wide gap (upper side in FIG. 4) and a narrow gap (lower side in FIG. 4) are formed between the support hole 2c and the support protrusion 3d. The inner tooth member 3 and the outer tooth member 2 are rotatably connected by bending the caulking portion 8a of the caulking ring 8 as shown in FIGS.

The wedge 4 has an arc shape as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, and is installed between the support hole 2c and the support protrusion 3d. The wedge 4 has a hooking portion 4a at one end and a tapered portion 4b at the other end. The tapered portion 4b is thinner toward the tip, and is configured to bite toward the narrow gap between the support hole 2c and the support protrusion 3d. The latching portion 4a protrudes toward the other wedge 4, and the latching portion 5a of the locking spring 5 is latched.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the lock spring 5 has an arc shape and has latching portions 5 a at both ends. The lock spring 5 is elastically deformed and the latching portion 5a is latched on the wedge 4 to urge the wedge 4 in a direction to separate one end portion of the pair of wedges 4, and the tapered portion 4b is supported in the support hole. It pushes in between the wall surface of 2c, and the support protrusion 3d. Therefore, the backlash between the outer teeth 2a and the inner teeth 3a is reduced to 0 by the wedge 4, and the outer teeth member 2 and the inner teeth member 3 cannot rotate relative to each other. As a result, the reclining device 1 is locked, and the seat back 12 is locked to the seat cushion 11.

The reclining device 1 has a lock release member 6 for releasing the lock as shown in FIGS. The lock release member 6 has an attachment shaft portion 6a, a spline shaft portion 6d, and a flange portion 6b. The attachment shaft portion 6 a is cylindrical and is inserted through the center hole of the support protrusion 3 d of the internal tooth member 3. The spline shaft portion 6d extends on the axis of the mounting shaft portion 6a, and has a groove extending in the axial direction on the outer peripheral surface. A motor, an operation lever, etc. (not shown) are spline-fitted to the spline shaft portion 6d.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the flange portion 6b is formed at a position between the mounting shaft portion 6a and the spline shaft portion 6d. The flange portion 6b has a disk shape and covers the wedge 4 to prevent the wedge 4 from falling off the support hole 2c. On the surface of the flange portion 6b on the external tooth member 2 side, a wedge pressing portion 6c is projected. The wedge pressing portion 6c has an arc shape along the outer periphery of the flange portion 6b, and is rotatably installed between the support hole 2c and the support protrusion 3d.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, an elastic member 7 is installed between the wedge pressing portion 6 c and the wedge 4. The elastic member 7 is a bent leaf spring, and is accommodated in the gap between the wall surface of the support hole 2 c and the support protrusion 3 d and between the wedge pressing portion 6 c and the wedge 4. The elastic member 7 has a spring force smaller than the spring force of the lock spring 5.

Therefore, when the lock release member 6 is rotated by the motor or the operation lever, the wedge pressing portion 6c rotates along the space between the support hole 2c and the support protrusion 3d. One of the elastic members 7 is elastically deformed, and the wedge 4 receives a force from the lock releasing member 6 through the elastic member 7. The wedge 4 is released from the state where it is pushed into the wall surface of the support hole 2c and the support protrusion 3d while elastically deforming the lock spring 5. As a result, the reclining device 1 enters the unlocked state.

When the unlocking member 6 is further rotated, one wedge 4 pushes the other wedge 4. As a result, the other wedge 4 presses the wall surface of the support hole 2 c, and the outer tooth member 2 revolves while rotating with respect to the inner tooth member 3. As a result, the relative angle between the outer tooth member 2 and the inner tooth member 3 changes. Then, after the predetermined relative angle is reached, the force applied to the unlocking member 6 is released, so that the pair of wedges 4 are moved between the wall surface of the support hole 2c and the support protrusion 3d by the biasing force of the lock spring 5. It is pushed in between. Thereby, the reclining apparatus 1 will be in a locked state. Thus, the relative angle between the seat back 12 and the seat cushion 11 can be adjusted steplessly by the reclining device 1.

As described above, between the lock release member 6 and the wedge 4, as shown in FIG. 4, the elastic member 7 is formed separately from the lock spring 5 and reduces the impact of the lock release member 6 on the wedge 4. Is provided. Therefore, when unlocking, the unlocking member 6 moves toward the wedge 4 and the elastic member 7 is elastically deformed. Therefore, the impact of the unlocking member 6 on the wedge 4 is reduced by the elastic force of the elastic member 7, and the sound that can be generated between the unlocking member 6 and the wedge 4 can be reduced. The elastic member 7 is formed separately from the lock spring 5. Therefore, the lock spring 5 is not elastically deformed for impact reduction, and it can be prevented that the lock spring 5 is greatly elastically deformed for impact reduction and detached from the wedge 4.

The elastic member 7 is configured by a spring having a smaller spring force than the lock spring 5. Therefore, when the lock is released, the elastic member 7 is elastically deformed by the lock releasing member 6, and then the lock spring 5 is elastically deformed. Therefore, smooth operability can be obtained by the two spring forces, and the sound that can be preferably generated between the unlocking member 6 and the wedge 4 can be reduced.

The elastic member 7 is disposed between the support hole 2c and the support protrusion 3d and between the wedge 4 and the lock release member 6 as shown in FIG. Therefore, since the elastic member 7 is installed using these gaps, the elastic member 7 can be stably stored. And it is possible to provide the elastic member 7 without enlarging an apparatus.

The reclining device 1 includes a pair of wedges 4 and a pair of elastic members 7 as shown in FIG. Therefore, the reclining device 1 can be unlocked by rotating the unlocking member 6 in any direction. Since the elastic member 7 is elastically deformed in any rotation direction, the sound that can be generated between the lock release member 6 and the wedge 4 can be reduced.

As shown in FIG. 4, the elastic member 7 is in contact with both the wedge 4 and the wedge pressing portion 6c in the locked state. Therefore, when changing from the locked state to the unlocked state, the elastic force of the elastic member 7 is always generated between the wedge 4 and the wedge pressing portion 6c. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the operating torque of the unlocking member 6 from changing suddenly. And the deterioration of operativity by the lock release member 6 idling can be prevented.
