Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an ink jet printing apparatus for printing a cloth by ejecting ink from an ink jet recording head.
Conventionally, a screen printing apparatus using a dyeing die has been used for printing on cotton, silk, wool, chemical fiber, blended fabric, etc. In recent years, due to improvements in the technology of ink jet printers, printing by an ink jet method has been used. Inkjet textile printing apparatuses that perform printing have attracted attention.
Ink-jet printing does not require the dye used in screen printing, and a digitized design can be used. Therefore, it is possible to quickly respond to a fine design change according to the customer's request, and to greatly reduce the production time. In addition, there is an advantage that the degree of freedom in design is large, such as being able to express color gradation.
In an ink jet textile printing apparatus, when transporting a cloth as a recording medium to a printing section that performs ink jet textile printing, the cloth is attached to a transport belt having adhesiveness on the surface in order to improve the transport accuracy. The belt is driven by a conveying roller or the like to convey the cloth.
However, when a cloth is attached to the conveyance belt having adhesiveness on the surface, air bubbles may enter between the conveyance belt and the cloth, and the cloth may partially float from the conveyance belt.
When the cloth is lifted by such bubbles and the cloth is transported below the printing section, the floating cloth contacts the recording head of the printing section and stains the cloth. May break. In addition, when printing is performed on a fabric in which bubbles are floated, there is a problem that the quality of the printed image is deteriorated. In particular, when a wide cloth is used, it is more difficult to uniformly apply the cloth to the transport belt, and these problems are remarkable.
However, in such a configuration, when the cloth floats over a wide range due to large air bubbles, the cloth is squeezed between the sticking roller and the transport roller and stuck to the transport belt in a wrinkled state. There is a risk of being attached.
An object of the present invention is to attach a cloth onto a conveyance belt having adhesiveness on the surface, and to convey a cloth between the conveyance belt and the cloth when the cloth is conveyed below the printing unit. An object of the present invention is to provide an ink-jet printing apparatus capable of performing printing with high image quality by causing the float to adhere evenly by uniformly dispersing the bubbles.
In order to solve the above problems, the invention of the ink jet printing apparatus according to the first aspect of the present invention includes a printing unit that discharges ink from a recording head to print on a recording medium, and a conveyance belt that has adhesiveness on the surface. And a recording medium floating prevention means provided on the upstream side of the printing unit, and the recording medium floating prevention means is placed on the recording medium that is adhesively supported by the conveyance belt, and the conveyance belt And a free roller configured to be movable in a direction opposite to the transport direction.
The free roller provided as the recording medium floating prevention means is placed on a cloth that is a recording medium that is adhesively supported on the transport belt, and the shaft of the free roller is not fixed. The cloth and the conveyor belt are arranged in a state where only the weight of the free roller is applied. That is, the free roller is configured to be freely movable in the transport direction of the transport belt and in the opposite direction. Therefore, when the conveyance belt of the recording medium conveyance unit is driven, the free roller can freely roll on the conveyance belt in the belt conveyance direction and in the opposite direction. And since the axis | shaft of the said free roller is not being fixed as mentioned above, the rolling motion is not regular.
According to this aspect, the cloth formed by air bubbles entering between the conveyance belt and the cloth due to the “irregular movement (rolling)” of the free roller on the conveyance belt on the upstream side of the printing unit. The floats can be evenly dispersed without causing wrinkles and adhered to the conveyor belt evenly. The “irregular movement” of the free roller will be described in detail below.
As in the conventional example, the
In the present invention, the free roller is freely movable as described above. For this reason, when the free roller rolls up and the fabric is swelled by pushing the air bubbles between the transport belt and the fabric, the free roller is repelled by the swell and rolls in a direction without swell. After that, when the free roller hits the swell of the fabric again, the free roller is bounced and rolled again. By repeating such an “irregular movement” of the free roller, the air bubbles between the transport belt and the cloth are evenly distributed uniformly and can be flattened without wrinkling the cloth.
For example, when one free roller is used, the free roller is set to be longer than the width of the recording medium and configured to disperse the bubbles on the entire surface of the recording medium. preferable. In addition, large bubbles that collide with the recording head of the printing unit are relatively less likely to occur, and when printing is not performed on the entire surface of the recording medium, only bubbles generated in the printing range are dispersed and uniformed. It is also possible to set the free roller short and to limit the range in the width direction in which the free roller rolls.
Here, in the ink jet textile printing apparatus according to the aspect, it is preferable that a plurality of the free rollers are arranged side by side in the conveyance direction of the conveyance belt.
According to this, since the plurality of free rollers roll on the recording medium while performing the above-mentioned “irregular movement” independently, the recording medium conveys bubbles between the conveyance belt and the recording medium. Can be reliably dispersed and flattened while being done.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided the inkjet printing apparatus according to the first aspect, wherein a plurality of the free rollers are arranged in the transport direction of the transport belt, and the plurality of free rollers have a roller diameter. , And is set to increase as it goes from the upstream side to the downstream side in the conveyance direction of the conveyance belt.
If the air bubbles formed between the cloth serving as the recording medium and the conveying belt are large, if the free roller with a large roller diameter and a heavy roller rolls over the large air bubbles, there is a risk that wrinkles may be formed on the cloth.
According to this aspect, in addition to the same effects as in the first aspect, the large air bubbles are reduced to some extent by the smallest free light roller on the upstream side in the conveying direction of the conveying belt without wrinkling the cloth. can do. And as the roller diameter of the free roller is set larger toward the downstream side, a heavier free roller larger than the small diameter free roller is allowed to act on the air bubbles slightly reduced by the small diameter free roller. Air bubbles can be dispersed. In this way, by applying a large free roller in a stepwise manner from the upstream side to the downstream side in the conveyance direction of the conveyance belt, a large bubble is easily formed between the conveyance belt and the fabric. The bubbles can be uniformly dispersed and flattened without forming a fold.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, there is provided an ink jet textile printing apparatus according to the first aspect, wherein the conveyor belt is intermittently driven.
According to this aspect, in addition to the same effects as in the first aspect, the free roller easily moves due to the reaction in which the conveyance belt is intermittently driven. Therefore, the air bubbles between the recording medium and the conveyance belt are efficiently leveled. The recording medium on the conveyor belt can be flattened.
The invention of the ink jet textile printing apparatus according to the fourth aspect of the present invention comprises a movement restricting member for restricting the movement range of the free roller in any one of the first to third aspects. It is characterized by.
According to this aspect, in addition to the same effects as any one of the first aspect to the third aspect, the free roller can be freely moved within the set range, whereby the above-described “irregularity of the free roller” Can be performed stably.
The invention of the ink jet textile printing apparatus according to the fifth aspect of the present invention includes, in any one of the first to fourth aspects, a roller movement facilitating means for facilitating the movement of the free roller. It is characterized by.
Here, “facilitating” the movement of the free roller is a structure that receives a rebounding force so that the free roller does not stand still when the free roller approaches and abuts the roller movement facilitating means. It means that there is.
According to this aspect, in addition to the same operational effects as any one of the first aspect to the fourth aspect, the roller movement promoting means for promoting the free movement of the free roller is provided, so that it is more efficient. In particular, air bubbles between the recording medium and the conveying belt can be leveled, and the recording medium on the conveying belt can be uniformly flattened.
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, there is provided the ink jet textile printing apparatus according to the fifth aspect, wherein the roller movement facilitating means is a resilient member such as a spring or a resin, or a shape part that is easily rebounded by colliding with the free roller. It is characterized by being comprised.
According to this aspect, the structure can be simplified and the promoting effect can be expressed.
Here, in any one of the first to sixth aspects, the recording medium floating prevention means may be configured by a plurality of the free rollers shorter than the width of the recording medium.
As a result, the free roller is short, so that the movement of the free roller irregularly becomes finer, the air bubbles between the recording medium and the conveying belt are efficiently leveled, and the recording medium on the conveying belt is flattened. Can do.
The plurality of free rollers shorter than the width of the recording medium are arranged so that a part of each free roller overlaps in the width direction of the recording medium so that the bubbles on the entire surface of the recording medium can be dispersed. It is preferable that it is comprised. In addition, large bubbles that collide with the recording head of the printing unit are relatively less likely to occur, and when printing is not performed on the entire surface of the recording medium, only bubbles generated in the printing range are dispersed and uniformed. The short free roller may be partially disposed to limit the range in the width direction in which the free roller rolls.
According to a seventh aspect of the present invention, there is provided the ink-jet printing apparatus according to any one of the first to fourth aspects, wherein the recording medium floating prevention means includes a plurality of shorter than the width of the recording medium. The free roller is slanted so that the end of the free roller close to the side of the recording medium is located downstream of the other end in the transport direction of the transport belt. It is characterized by being arranged.
According to this aspect, since the free roller is short, the movement of the free roller irregularly rolling becomes finer, the air bubbles between the recording medium and the conveyance belt are efficiently leveled, and the recording medium on the conveyance belt is flattened. Can be Furthermore, the movement of the free roller can easily act to push out the bubbles between the recording medium and the conveying belt to the side of the recording medium, and the bubbles can be leveled efficiently.
The plurality of free rollers shorter than the width of the recording medium are arranged obliquely so that a part of each free roller overlaps in the width direction of the recording medium, and the bubbles on the entire surface of the recording medium are dispersed. It is preferable to be configured to be able to.
Further, in any one of the first to seventh aspects, the free roller is held by a plate-like roller holding member having an opening serving as a frame surrounding the free roller. Also good.
According to this structure, in addition to the same effect as any one of the first to seventh aspects, the structure can be simplified and the free roller can be held.
According to the present invention, when a recording medium is affixed on a conveyance belt having adhesiveness on the surface and the recording medium is conveyed below the printing unit, air bubbles enter between the conveyance belt and the recording medium. The resulting recording medium can be kept flat and adhered evenly. A recording medium that is uniformly and flatly attached to the conveyance belt is conveyed to the printing unit, so that high image quality printing can be performed.

Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the
The roller movement facilitating means pushes the free roller back from the downstream side to the upstream side in the conveyance direction of the conveyance belt or from the upstream side to the downstream side, not limited to the

<実施例2>
<Example 2>
Next, another aspect of the recording medium floating prevention means in the ink jet textile printing apparatus 1 according to the present invention will be described. As shown in FIG. 5, the recording medium floating prevention means in this embodiment is configured such that a plurality of the
As shown in FIG. 5A, when a plurality of
Further, as shown in FIG. 5B, a
Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 6, the diameter of the plurality of
When the air bubbles formed between the
According to the present embodiment, the large bubbles can be reduced to some extent without causing wrinkles on the
<実施例3>
<Example 3>
Still another aspect of the recording medium floating prevention means in the ink jet textile printing apparatus 1 according to the present invention will be described. FIG. 7 is a perspective view showing still another example of the recording medium floating prevention means of the inkjet textile printing apparatus 1 according to the present invention.
The recording medium floating prevention means in this embodiment includes a plurality of
If the length of the free roller is short, the free movement in which the
For example, as shown in FIG. 8, the plurality of
Further, as shown in FIG. 9, the
It should be noted that large bubbles that collide with the
Further, a portion indicated by
