Abstract
【解決手段】一対のフレキシブルベース2a,2bを、対向配置される一対の円筒状のローラにそれぞれ巻き付け、これら一対のローラ間に加工対象シートSを通過させてエンボス加工を行うエンボス加工装置に使用され、一対のフレキシブルベース2a,2bは、互いに雌雄嵌合する雌側フレキシブルベース2aと雄側フレキシブルベース2bとから構成され、雌側フレキシブルベース2aにはエンボス加工を行う加工パターンの輪郭に対応する線状の凸部3aが形成されており、雄側フレキシブルベース2bには雌側フレキシブルベースの線状の凸部3aにて囲われる領域内に、当該線状の凸部3aの内周面に対し間隔をあけて嵌まり合う凸部3bが形成されているとともに、この凸部3bには凹部30が形成されている。

次に、図7、図8に示すフレキシブルダイの製造方法の一例を図9を参照しながら説明する。
−他の実施形態−
エンボス加工用凸部3(3a、3b)の形状は、図10(A)に示すようにその上端の左右の縁部が角張って形成されているものに限られるものではない。

Claims (2)
- 一方の面にエンボス加工用凸部が形成された一対のフレキシブルベースを、対向配置される一対の円筒状のローラにそれぞれ巻き付け、これら一対のローラ間に加工対象シートを通過させてエンボス加工を行うエンボス加工装置に使用されるフレキシブルダイであって、
前記一対のフレキシブルベースは、互いに雌雄嵌合する雌側フレキシブルベースと雄側フレキシブルベースとから構成され、
前記雌側フレキシブルベースにはエンボス加工を行う加工パターンの輪郭に対応する線状の凸部が形成されており、雄側フレキシブルベースには雌側フレキシブルベースの線状の凸部にて囲われる領域内に、当該線状の凸部の内周面に対し間隔をあけて嵌まり合う凸部が形成されているとともに、この凸部には凹部が形成されていることを特徴とするフレキシブルダイ。 - 請求項1記載のフレキシブルダイにおいて、
前記フレキシブルベースのエンボス加工用凸部が形成された面の裏面には、少なくとも前記エンボス加工用凸部が形成されている領域の裏側に相当する部分に凹条が形成されていることを特徴とするフレキシブルダイ。
