Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a thin film solar cell module having a thin film semiconductor as a photoelectric conversion layer.
In recent years, solar cells are rapidly spreading as clean energy. In general, the most popular solar cell module uses a solar cell element such as a crystalline silicon solar cell element. However, in recent years, since there are fewer resource restrictions and low power generation costs can be expected, a thin film semiconductor Development of thin-film solar cells using silicon has been actively conducted.
As shown in FIG. 2, a conventional thin film solar cell generally includes a surface transparent electrode layer 12, one or more semiconductor thin film
In order to realize cost reduction, these thin-film solar cells should be made thinner as much as possible for each layer forming the photoelectric conversion unit, particularly the i-type layer. The light transmitted through the
However,
However, in
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention employs the following means. That is, the thin film solar cell module of the present invention is
A highly reflective film comprising a transparent substrate, a transparent surface electrode layer, a thin film semiconductor photoelectric conversion unit, a back electrode layer made of a transparent conductive layer, a transparent adhesive sheet, and a highly reflective plastic film in this order, is highly reflective. The reflectance of the plastic film at a wavelength of 400 to 600 nm is 80% or more.
According to the present invention, a thin film solar cell module with high photoelectric conversion efficiency can be provided by increasing the amount of light absorption.
The thin film solar cell module of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the basic configuration of the thin film solar cell module of the present invention. On the transparent
The
A surface
On the surface
When the photoelectric conversion unit is made of a silicon-based thin film, the
For the p-type layer 231, for example, a p-type silicon-based thin film doped with boron, which is a conductivity-determining impurity atom, is used, but aluminum or the like may be used as the conductivity-type impurity-determining atom, and the material is amorphous silicon. Alternatively, amorphous silicon carbide, amorphous silicon germanium, or the like, or polycrystalline or partially amorphous silicon including silicon, an alloy material thereof, or another semiconductor can be used. The i-
One or more transparent conductive oxides selected from existing zinc oxide (ZnO), tin oxide (SnO 2 ), indium-doped tin oxide (ITO) and the like are formed on the
Here, the front

As the transparent adhesive sheet, a known ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA), polyvinyl butyral (PVB), ionomer resin, or the like can be used. Alternatively, PVB is preferably used.
As described above, a white PVF film has been conventionally used as the highly
The highly reflective plastic film according to the present invention is a film having a high light reflectance. Specifically, the film has a reflectance of 80% or more at a wavelength of 400 to 600 nm. The reflectance is preferably 95% or more at 400 to 900 nm.
The highly reflective plastic film preferably scatters light well. When light is scattered, the light returning to the photoelectric conversion unit is incident on the photoelectric conversion unit at a large angle, and an effect that the layer thickness of the photoelectric conversion unit is apparently increased can be obtained. Specifically, it is preferable that the glossiness is low, and the glossiness is preferably 40 or less.
Further, the highly reflective plastic film preferably has a high whiteness. When the whiteness is high, light of various wavelengths can be reflected. The whiteness is preferably 100 or more by the two-wavelength method.
Examples of highly reflective plastic films include polyester films such as biaxially stretched polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and polyethylene naphthalate, polyolefin films such as polyethylene and polypropylene, polystyrene films, polyamide films, polyvinyl chloride films, polycarbonate films, and polyacrylonitrile. Although a film, a polyimide film, etc. can be used, it is preferable that it is a polyester film in view of strength, price, and durability. Examples of the polyester film used herein include polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, polyethylene-2,6-naphthalate,
Next, another embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the configuration of FIG. 1, resistance to water vapor from the highly
Moreover, it is preferable that the highly
As another method, a glass plate or a weather resistant resin plate 32 can be bonded to the outside of the highly reflective film via an adhesive sheet 31 as shown in FIG. The weather-resistant resin plate is not particularly limited as long as it is made of a material that does not deteriorate during the installation period of the present solar cell module. For example, the resin plate made of acrylic, polycarbonate, fluororesin, or the like has a thickness of about 1 mm to 100 mm. Alternatively, a metal plate such as an aluminum plate or a steel plate coated with a weather resistant paint can be used. The adhesive sheet 31 can be made of the same material as that of the
1 and 5, the highly
As the
As a method for forming the

First, the measurement method used in the present invention will be described.
・R(%)=T1/T0×100
(1) Reflectance Using a spectrophotometer U-3410 manufactured by Hitachi, both the standard white plate opening and the test piece opening were made of alumina oxide as a standard white plate, and the inclination angle of the test piece opening was 10 to 300 to 900 nm. The diffuse reflectance was measured by adding (°) to (T0), and the reflectance at that time was 100%. Thereafter, the opening of the test piece was replaced with a test piece, and the diffuse reflectance was measured at 300 to 900 nm. Then, it converted into the reflectance (R) by the following formula.
・ R (%) = T1 / T0 × 100
T0: reflectance of standard white plate
T1: The reflectance of the test piece.

Next, an embodiment will be described with reference to FIG.
p型層231としてはp層のアモルファスSiC膜(膜厚約15nm)、i型層232はi層のアモルファスSi膜(膜厚約500nm)、n型層233はn層のa−Si膜(膜厚約3nm)、である。

An SnO 2 film having a thickness of about 600 nm was formed as a surface
This solar cell, which has been subjected to wiring so that electrical characteristics can be measured later, is placed on a hot plate of a vacuum laminator, an EVA sheet having a thickness of 0.4 mm on the back transparent conductive layer, and the high reflection of Table 1 The adhesive film A was stacked and set. After setting the temperature of the hot plate to 150 ° C. and raising the temperature, evacuation is performed, and then pressing is performed from above the highly reflective film A through the diaphragm sheet at 1 atm to make the EVA sheet into a molten state. A highly reflective film A was adhered. After cooling and taking out, the EVA sheet after bonding became the
With respect to this solar cell module, current / voltage characteristics were measured while irradiating light with a solar simulator equivalent to AM1.5 and 100 mW / cm 2 standard sunlight, and evaluated by the value of short circuit current (Isc).
Table 1 shows the characteristics and results of the highly reflective film A. Similarly, the results produced using films B to D are also shown in Table 1.
(Comparison of Example and Comparative Example)
When the film A of Example 1 and the film B of Comparative Example 1 are compared, Example 1 is high in reflectance over a wide wavelength, and is excellent in whiteness. Although the film B has a smaller gloss value, it can be seen from the short-circuit current value that the film A is superior, and it is effective to use a film having a high reflectance and whiteness.
Moreover, when the film A and the film C of Example 2 are compared, the difference between the glossiness and the whiteness is small, but the reflectance is higher in C, and the result appears at a high short-circuit current value.
When the film C and the film D of Example 3 are compared, the reflectance and whiteness are similar, but the glossiness is greatly different, and the result appears as a difference in short-circuit current values.
Considering the above collectively, it is better that the reflectance is high, and the reflectance at least at 400 to 600 nm is 80% or more, more preferably 95% or more at 400 to 900 nm. When the glossiness exceeds 40, the short-circuit current decreases, so the glossiness is preferably 40 or less. When the whiteness is less than 100, the short-circuit current decreases, and thus the whiteness is preferably 100 or more.
