Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a vibration washer that is sandwiched by a portion that supports a direct injection type fuel injection device (injector) in an internal combustion engine such as an engine in a cylinder head.
In an automobile engine, a seal washer is sandwiched between a cylinder head of a cover member such as a rocker cover or an oil pan, or a mounting portion by a bolt with respect to a cylinder block. Further, an injector is supported on the cylinder head so that its fuel injection port faces the combustion chamber, and a seal washer for preventing leakage of combustion gas to the outside is sandwiched in this supporting portion. These seal washers seal the sandwiched portion and are expected to have a soundproof and vibration-proof effect.
The seal washers of
Therefore, as disclosed in
As mentioned above, an O-ring that combines a metal coil spring and an elastomer is expected to be used as a damping washer for parts that are repeatedly subjected to a vibration load, such as a support part of an injector. Etc. greatly depend on the specifications of the coil spring (wire diameter, winding diameter, winding pitch, etc.), so the degree of freedom in design such as the selection of the elastic modulus is narrow. Improvement was desired.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and has a wide design freedom such as elastic modulus selection, and is excellent in application suitability in a portion where a repeated vibration load is applied, such as a support portion of an injector. The purpose is to provide a shaking washer.
A vibration damping washer according to a first aspect of the present invention is a vibration damping washer sandwiched between two opposing flat surfaces of two members to which a load is applied, and is composed of a coil spring formed in an annular shape and rubber or resin. The coil spring is composed of an annular composite integrally formed with a vibration damping base material layer, and the coil spring has its winding diameter repeated alternately along the circumferential direction of the annular composite. The outer diameter surface is exposed from the damping base layer or covered with a thin film of the damping base layer, and the small diameter portion of the winding diameter is configured to be embedded in the damping base layer. . In this case, a metal ring member may be integrated with at least a portion facing the two planes of the outer peripheral portion of the annular composite.
A vibration washer according to a second invention is a vibration washer sandwiched between two opposing flat surfaces of two members to which a load is applied, and is composed of a coil spring formed in an annular shape and rubber or resin. The coil spring is formed of an annular composite integrally formed with a damping base layer, and the coil spring is partly exposed from the damping base layer or covered with a thin film of the damping base layer. A metal ring member is integrated with at least a portion of the outer peripheral portion of the annular composite facing the two planes, and the metal ring member is provided with a plurality of notches or recesses along the circumferential direction. A part of the vibration damping base material layer is engaged in the notch or the recess.
A damping washer according to a third aspect of the present invention is a damping washer sandwiched between two opposing planes of two members to which a load is applied, wherein the first coil spring has a large winding diameter and a small winding pitch. In addition, a second coil spring having a small winding diameter and a dense winding pitch is concentrically inserted to form a composite coil spring, and this composite coil spring is formed in an annular shape and integrated with a damping base layer made of rubber or resin. The outer surface of the first coil spring is exposed from the damping base layer or covered with a thin film of the damping base layer, and the second coil spring is in the damping base layer. It is configured to be embedded. In this case, a metal ring member may be integrated with at least a portion facing the two planes of the outer peripheral portion of the annular composite. The first and second coil springs preferably have different winding directions.
A vibration damping washer according to a fourth aspect of the present invention is a vibration damping washer sandwiched between two opposing planes of two members to which a load is applied, and includes a plurality of coil springs formed in an annular shape and having different annular diameters. Concentrically arranged, the coil spring is integrated with a damping base layer made of rubber or resin to form an annular composite, and the annular composite has a portion with a large winding diameter and a portion with a small winding diameter. In the large diameter part of the winding diameter, the outer diameter surface is exposed from the damping base layer or covered with a thin film of the damping base layer, and embedded in the damping base layer in the small diameter part of the winding diameter. It is comprised so that it may carry out. In this case, a metal ring member may be integrated with at least a portion facing the two planes of the outer peripheral portion of the annular composite. In addition, it is desirable that winding directions of adjacent coil springs in the plurality of coil springs are different from each other.
In any one of the above-described inventions, a grommet portion formed of the damping base material layer may be formed on the inner peripheral portion of the annular composite.
The vibration washer according to the first aspect of the present invention is a coil that uses a portion that supports a vibrating device such as an injector, that is, sandwiches it between two opposing planes of two members to which a load is applied. Vibration is absorbed by the synergistic action of the spring and the damping base layer made of rubber or resin integrated with the spring, and the generation of abnormal noise due to the vibration is suppressed. Further, due to the rubber elasticity or the elastic action peculiar to the resin in which the coil spring and the damping base layer are synergistic, a mutual surface pressure between the two planes at the time of sandwiching is developed, and the sealing property is obtained. In addition, the coil spring has its winding diameter alternately repeated along the circumferential direction of the annular composite. The outer diameter surface of the coil spring is exposed from the damping base layer at the large diameter portion of the coil spring. Or it is covered with the thin film of the damping base layer, and is configured to be embedded in the damping base layer at the small diameter portion of the coil spring winding diameter. Large, dripping of the damping base material layer is greatly reduced, and the vibration absorbing function and sealing performance are maintained for a long time. And the ratio of the part embedded in the damping base material layer can be changed by changing the ratio of the large diameter part and small diameter part of a coil spring. This makes it possible to appropriately select the elastic modulus (spring constant) of the annular composite in which the coil spring and the damping base layer are combined, and the degree of freedom of design is widened. However, the aptitude for application in various parts increases.
In this case, if a metal ring member is integrated with at least a portion of the outer peripheral portion of the annular composite facing the two planes, the coil spring is not easily collapsed, twisted, or crushed when loaded, The load resistance is improved, and a high repulsive force provides excellent vibration suppression in high frequency range.
The vibration damping washer according to the second invention is a coil spring in which the winding diameter in the first invention is replaced with a coil spring that alternates in magnitude along the circumferential direction of the annular composite, and the winding diameter is equal in diameter in the longitudinal direction. A plurality of notches or recesses are provided along a circumferential direction of a metal ring member integrated with at least a portion facing the two planes of the outer peripheral portion of the annular composite. A part of the vibration damping base material layer is inserted into the inside. Therefore, by changing the number or size of notches or recesses, the elastic modulus (spring constant) of the annular composite in which the coil spring and the damping base layer are combined can be selected as appropriate, as described above. The degree of freedom of design is widened, and the aptitude for application in a portion where the load mode of the vibration load is various, such as the support portion of the injector, is increased. The actions and effects obtained by combining the coil spring and the damping base layer are the same as described above. Further, by integrating the metal ring member into the annular composite, the load resistance is improved, and the high repulsive force can provide excellent vibration suppression in the high frequency range as well. .
The vibration damping washer according to the third invention is a first coil spring having a large winding diameter and a small winding pitch, instead of the coil spring in which the winding diameter in the first invention repeats alternately in the size along the circumferential direction of the annular composite. In addition, a composite coil spring in which a second coil spring having a small winding diameter and a dense winding pitch is concentrically inserted is used, and the composite coil spring is formed in an annular shape so as to be integrated with the damping base layer. The outer diameter surface is exposed or covered with a thin film of the damping base layer from the damping base layer, and the second coil spring is embedded in the damping base layer. Therefore, by changing the winding pitch of the first coil spring and the second coil spring, the elastic modulus (spring constant) of the annular composite in which the coil spring and the damping base layer are combined can be appropriately selected as described above. Therefore, the degree of freedom of design is widened, and the aptitude for application in a portion where the load mode of the vibration load is various such as the support portion of the injector is increased. The actions and effects obtained by combining the coil spring and the damping base layer are the same as described above.
Also in this case, if a metal ring member is integrated with at least the two planes of the outer peripheral portion of the annular composite, the load resistance is improved, and high repulsive force can cause vibration in a high frequency range. Excellent vibration control can be obtained. Further, if the winding directions of the first and second coil springs are different from each other, the meshing between the two coil springs can be suppressed, the shape retention is good, and the combined elastic characteristics with the damping base layer can be obtained. Maintained.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, a vibration washer includes a plurality of coil springs that are formed in an annular shape and have different annular diameters, instead of the coil spring in which the winding diameter in the first invention repeats alternately in the size along the circumferential direction of the annular composite. An annular composite in which this coil spring is integrated with the damping base layer includes a portion with a large winding diameter and a portion with a small winding diameter. The outer diameter surface is exposed from the damping base layer or covered with a thin film of the damping base layer, and the small diameter portion of the winding diameter is embedded in the damping base layer. Here, the portion having a large winding diameter and the portion having a small winding diameter are different in the winding diameter of adjacent coil springs in addition to the case where each coil spring is repeatedly repeated along the circumferential direction of the annular composite. It is formed by using. Therefore, by changing an appropriate ratio of the portion having a large winding diameter and the portion having a small winding diameter, the elastic modulus (spring constant) of the annular composite in which the coil spring and the vibration damping base material layer are combined as described above. Appropriate selection is possible, the degree of freedom of design is widened, and the suitability for application is increased in a portion where the load mode of the vibration load is various, such as the support portion of the injector.
Also, if the winding directions of adjacent coil springs in a plurality of coil springs are different from each other, the meshing between adjacent coil springs is suppressed, the shape retention is good, and the elastic characteristics combined with the damping base layer are Maintained.
In any one of the inventions described above, if a grommet portion is formed by the damping base material layer on the inner peripheral portion of the annular composite, between two opposing planes of two members to which a load is applied When sandwiched between the two, the sealing property is further improved by the compression elastic deformation of the grommet portion.

During fuel injection, the
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the
更に、樹脂としては、PTFE(ポリテトラフルオロエチレン;テフロン樹脂(登録商標))、PPS(ポリフェニレンサルファイド)、PEEK(ポリエチレンエーテルケトン)、PA(ナイロン;ポリアミド)等の樹脂材が用いられる。
In the present invention, the rubber or resin constituting the damping
As shown in FIG. 3, the
The
4 to 7 show an embodiment of a vibration washer according to the second invention of the present invention. In the damping
As shown in FIG. 3, when the
