Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a backup pin setting work jig, a substrate support device, a surface mounter, a cream solder printing device, a substrate inspection device, and a backup pin setting method.
Conventionally, an electronic component such as an IC is adsorbed from a component supply unit while moving a head unit having an adsorption head for component adsorption by a rectangular coordinate robot, and the component is placed on a printed circuit board positioned at a predetermined work position. A surface mounter (hereinafter, abbreviated as a mounter) that is transferred and mounted is generally known.
This type of mounting machine includes a board support device to prevent the printed board from bending. The substrate support device includes a pin member called a backup pin on a base, and supports the substrate by being positioned below the substrate and supporting a specific point of the printed circuit board by the backup pin.
By the way, when supporting a printed circuit board using backup pins, the point differs depending on the size and type of the printed circuit board and the pattern of components mounted on the back surface (pin support surface). The pin arrangement needs to be changed accordingly. Therefore, conventionally, if necessary, an operator pulls out the backup pins one by one from the storage location of the backup pins arranged in the vicinity of the board, and manually inserts the backup pins one by one into the predetermined hole position of the base. It was.
However, manual replacement of the backup pins one by one is inefficient, and a technique for improving this is disclosed in
In this device, the backup pin is exchanged using an exchange plate having a holding member. The holding member is made of a shape memory alloy, and the diameter of the through hole changes when the temperature is changed by an energization operation to the heater. The replacement plate is provided with a plurality of such holding members.
From the above, for example, when it is desired to select three backup pins from the storage location of the backup pins, the same backup operation is performed on the heaters of the holding members corresponding to the three backup pins. Pins can be held together. Therefore, it is possible to complete the work of carrying the backup pin from the backup pin storage location to the holder base at one time.
With the above configuration, it is not necessary to pull out the backup pins one by one and manually insert them one by one into the predetermined hole position of the base, but it is necessary to provide a dedicated heater for each holding member provided in the replacement base Therefore, the configuration of the replacement base, the substrate support device on which the replacement base is mounted, and the surface mounter is extremely complicated.
The present invention has been completed on the basis of the above-described circumstances, and it is possible to maintain a workability comparable to that of a conventional support for replacing a backup pin (setting work), a surface mounting machine, a printing machine. It aims at simplifying apparatus configurations, such as an apparatus and a board | substrate inspection apparatus.
As a means for achieving the above object, a backup pin setting method according to
As a means for achieving the above object, the backup pin setting work jig according to claim 2 supports a plurality of backup pins so as to be vertically movable between an initial position and a substrate support position above the backup pin. A pin holder base is set in advance in a lower region of a conveyor for transporting a substrate, and some or all of the plurality of backup pins that were originally in the same initial position are supported by the substrate. A backup pin setting work jig used for setting work of a backup pin that is displaced to a position and held on the pin holder base, and has a plate shape that can be transported using the conveyor, and the backup pin Temporarily store the backup pin when the pin contacts or at least approaches. Characterized in place with a temporary holding means possible.
As an embodiment of the present invention, the following configuration is preferable.
-Temporarily hold the backup pin by magnetic force. The temporary holding of the backup pin is preferably one that can easily release the temporary holding state. In this respect, if it is a magnetic force, the temporary holding can be released relatively easily if it is separated by a force against the magnetic force, and is optimal as a temporary holding means.
A plurality of receiving portions are formed on the jig corresponding to the backup pins on the pin holder base side, and temporary holding means is selectively mounted on the plurality of receiving portions. And it is set as the structure which is removable with respect to a temporary holding means and a receiving part. With such a configuration, the arrangement of temporary holding means to be mounted on the jig can be arbitrarily selected. Therefore, it is not necessary to individually provide jigs corresponding to the types of substrates, and jigs can be used in common for a plurality of types of substrates.
As a means for achieving the above object, a substrate support apparatus according to claim 6 includes a pin holder base that supports a plurality of backup pins so as to be movable up and down between an initial position and a substrate support position above it. , A mounting table on which the pin holder base is mounted, an elevating device for raising and lowering the mounting table, and a backup pin located at the substrate support position among the backup pins, It is characterized in that it comprises a holding device that holds the substrate support position.
As an embodiment of the present invention, the following configuration is preferable.
The holding device has a horizontal plate-like lock member provided with a plurality of holding portions corresponding to a plurality of backup pins, and a holding position that holds the plurality of backup pins at the substrate support position collectively. And a drive device that horizontally moves between the release positions for releasing the holding collectively. With such a configuration, the holding device can be configured with a smaller number of parts compared to a holding device that holds each backup pin individually.
-About a pin holder base, it shall be the structure which piled up two support bodies up and down, inserting a lock member so that a horizontal movement is possible in between. With such a configuration, the two supports function as guides for guiding the horizontal movement of the lock member. Therefore, the apparatus can be simplified as compared with the case where the guide function for guiding the horizontal movement of the lock member is configured by a dedicated part.
As a means for achieving the above object, a surface mounter according to
As an embodiment of this invention, it is preferable to set it as the following forms.
-In the case where a plurality of surface mounters are connected in series by a conveyor and the substrate is sequentially sent to each surface mounter by the conveyor, the pin holder base is placed on each of the surface mounters, while the jig Are sequentially sent from the surface mounter located upstream in the substrate transport direction to the downstream surface mounter using a conveyor. In this way, the setting work of the backup pin can be performed with a common jig in each surface mounter. Therefore, there are advantages in terms of cost and management compared to the case where a dedicated jig is provided for each surface mounter.
As a means for achieving the above object, a cream solder printing apparatus according to claim 10 is characterized in that the board support apparatus according to any one of claims 6 to 8 is used for carrying a board in the apparatus. It is characterized by being installed in the lower area of the conveyor.
As a means for achieving the above object, a substrate inspection apparatus according to an eleventh aspect is characterized in that the substrate support apparatus according to any one of the sixth to eighth aspects is an in-machine conveyor for carrying in a substrate. It is characterized by being installed in the lower area of the.
According to the present invention (backup pin setting work jig, substrate support device, surface mounter, cream solder printing device, substrate inspection device, and backup pin setting method) A substrate support apparatus provided with a pin holder base that is paired with the jig was used. And about the jig | tool, it was made to convey using a conveyor and it was set as the structure different from the board | substrate support apparatus. With such a configuration, it is not necessary to provide a jig in the substrate support device, the surface mounter, the cream solder printing device, and the substrate inspection device itself, and the configuration of these devices can be simplified.
In order to assist the understanding of the present invention, an example that briefly represents the present invention prior to the description of the embodiments will be briefly described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, and then a specific configuration will be described. .
Reference numerals Z1, Z2, and Z3 shown in FIG. 1 are surface mounting machines (hereinafter referred to as mounting machines Z). Each of these mounting machines Z1 to Z3 is delivered by a
In each of the mounting machines Z1 to Z3, a mounting operation for mounting a chip component such as an IC on the surface of the substrate is executed. When this mounting operation is performed, the back surface of the substrate P is placed on a plurality of surfaces as shown in FIG. It is carried out in a state where it is supported by the backup pin BP.
The pin arrangement (the number of pins used and the pin arrangement) of these backup pins BP is determined in advance for each type of substrate P (hereinafter also referred to as “product type”) that flows through the mounting line composed of the mounting machines Z1 to Z3. Therefore, when the type of the board P is switched, it is necessary to perform an operation for setting the pin arrangement of the backup pins BP according to the type of the board as a setup change operation in each of the mounting machines Z1 to Z3.
In the present invention, the setting operation of the backup pin BP in each of the mounting machines Z1 to Z3 is performed by using a pin holder base HB described below and a jig base (an example of the “jig” of the present invention) GB paired therewith. It is intended to be used.
The pin holder base HB supports a plurality of backup pins BP on a base plate so as to be vertically movable. The pin holder base HB is provided exclusively for each of the mounting machines Z1 to Z3, and in each of the mounting machines Z1 to Z3, a position directly below the
On the other hand, the jig base GB has a horizontal plate shape as shown in FIG. 1, and is provided with a plurality of mounting
With this configuration, the magnet MP can be mounted in an arbitrary arrangement on the jig base GB, and the pin arrangement of the backup pins BP (in the example of FIG. For example, the mounting operation of the magnet MP is performed by an operator's manual operation so that the arrangement is the same as that of the two places painted in black.
The jig base GB on which the magnet MP is mounted is sent to the mounting line by the
The outline of the pickup operation is as shown in FIG. 3. First, as shown in FIG. 3 (a), the jig base GB is loaded onto the pin holder base HB in the mounting machine. Positioning (corresponding to the “positioning step” of the present invention).
Thereafter, the pin holder base HB is moved upwardly toward the jig base GB so that the backup pin BP approaches the magnet MP. Thereby, some of the backup pins BP on the pin holder base HB come into contact with the magnet MP. As a result, a part of the backup pins BPS that are in contact with each other are attracted to the magnet MP by a magnetic force and are temporarily held (corresponding to the “temporary holding step” of the present invention).
When a part of the backup pins BP is temporarily held, the pin holder base HB is lowered as shown in FIG. When this is done, the backup pins BP other than the temporarily held backup pin BPS are lowered together with the pin holder base HB.
On the other hand, as a result of the temporarily held backup pin BPS being left on the jig base GB side, a relative displacement occurs with the pin holder base HB. Due to this displacement, some of the temporarily held backup pins BP are lifted upward from the initial position shown in FIG. 3A and protrude from the base plate to the substrate support position shown in FIG. 3B. (Corresponding to the “position displacement process” of the present invention).
Subsequently, the
If the pin holder base HB is further lowered following the lock, the backup pin BPS at the substrate support position is forcibly separated from the magnet MP as shown in FIG. The temporary holding by MP is released (corresponding to the “separation step” of the present invention).
Thus, on the pin holder base HB, a part of the backup pins BPS necessary for supporting the substrate is set at the substrate support position. This completes the backup pin setting operation for the mounting machine Z1.
After that, the jig base GB in the mounting machine Z1 is transported to the mounting machine Z2 while being carried out of the machine using the
When the setting operation of the backup pin BPS for the mounting machine Z2 is completed, the jig base GB in the mounting machine Z2 is now sent to the mounting machine Z3. In the mounting machine Z3, the mounting machine Z1 and the mounting machine Z2 are sent. By performing the same pick-up operation as that performed in step S2, the back-up pins BPS necessary for supporting the substrate P are supported by the substrate for the pin holder base HB installed in the mounting device Z3. Set to position.
As described above, according to the present invention, a part of the backup pins BPS is selected from the plurality of backup pins BP supported by the pin holder base HB, and the positions thereof are displaced from the initial position to the substrate support position. With this, the backup pin BP is set.
Here, in the present invention, the function of selecting a part of the plurality of backup pins BP is given to a dedicated jig base GB configured separately from the mounting machines Z1 to Z3, so that the mounting machines Z1 to Z1. The configuration of Z3 is simplified. And about such jig base GB, by carrying in into mounting machine
<
First, a specific configuration of the mounting machines Z1 to Z3 will be described with the mounting machine Z2 as a representative. The mounting machine Z2 is roughly composed of a
First, a mounting device and a device related to mounting will be described.
The
In the
Next, the
As shown in FIG. 5, a pair of left and
Carry-in
Further, in FIG. 5, the
And the above-mentioned
The
As shown in FIG. 5, a
From the above, when the
In this embodiment, the horizontal table 140 has a two-stage configuration, so that the upper table 145 can be replaced with the lower table 141. The reason for this configuration is that it is necessary to change the size of the upper table 145 according to the machine specifications, and to adjust the level (levelness) of the table 145 accurately.
Next, the pin holder base HB will be described with reference to FIGS.
The pin holder base HB includes a base
As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the base
A
The total length of the backup pin BP is set somewhat shorter than the total height of the pin holder base HB, and an
A
With such a configuration, on the pin holder base HB, the backup pin BP is moved from the initial position shown in FIG. 9 to the substrate support position shown in FIG. 13 (position where the
The above-described shutter
The
The groove width of the connecting
In the present embodiment, the wall surface of the
The
In the open position, the
On the other hand, in the closed position, as shown in FIG. 14, the
Therefore, first, when the
When the
Now, the
On the other hand, a
The
The
In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 14, when the
Next, the jig base GB will be described with reference to FIG. The jig base GB is paired with the pin holder base HB, has a horizontal plate shape, and has a size that can be conveyed on the conveyor 60 (for example, the same shape as the largest of the substrates P). The
As shown in FIG. 16, the jig base GB is provided with a mounting hole (an example of the “receiving portion” of the present invention) 210. The
As will be described below, the magnets MP are individually (that is, selectively) mounted in the mounting holes 210.
The magnet MP is fixed to the lower end portion of the
With such a configuration, the magnet MP can be mounted in an arbitrary arrangement on the jig base GB, and the same as the pin arrangement of the backup pins BP used for substrate support when changing the product type. For example, the mounting operation of the magnet MP is performed manually by the operator so as to be arranged. Note that FIG. 17 illustrates a state where the magnet MP is attached to the eight
Further, FIG. 18 shows a block showing an electrical configuration of the mounting machine Z2. Briefly, the mounting machine Z2 is controlled and controlled by the controller 250 as a whole. The controller 250 includes an
The mounting
The external input /
With the above configuration, the controller 250 reads various programs or data from the storage unit according to the situation, and causes the mounting machine Z2 to execute a predetermined operation.
That is, during the mounting operation, the X-axis motor, the Y-axis motor, the Z-axis motor, and the R-axis motor are controlled based on the mounting program to mount components on the board P.
In addition, during the changeover operation of the backup pin BP described below, the lifting and lowering
Subsequently, a setup change operation (setting operation) of the backup pin BP performed when the type of the substrate P is switched will be described with reference to FIGS.
When switching the product type, first, the operator performs the work of attaching the magnet MP to the jig base GB.
The arrangement of the magnet MP must be the same as the arrangement of the backup pins BP used to support the substrate after the product type change, and the operator must perform the installation work of the magnet MP according to the pin arrangement specified in advance. It becomes. Specifically, in FIG. 16, a pin array as indicated by hatching is designated.
In this case, an operation of inserting the
When the magnet MP is mounted on the jig base GB in step S10, this time, the operator performs the work of setting the jig base GB with the magnet MP mounted on the
When the jig base GB is set on the
Eventually, when the jig base GB reaches the upper position of the
In this state, as shown in FIG. 20, the jig base GB faces the pin holder base HB, and the magnet MP of the jig base GB is located directly above the backup pin BP of the pin holder base HB. .
Then, when the jig base GB faces the pin holder base HB as described above, this time, as shown in FIG. 21, the elevating
As a result, the pin holder base HB rises together with the horizontal table 140. As a result, the backup pin BP of the pin holder base HB approaches the magnet MP of the jig base GB. The tip of the backup pin BP contacts. More specifically, of the backup pins BP supported by the pin holder base HB, the tips of some backup pins BPS corresponding to the magnet MP are in contact with the lower surfaces of the magnets MP.
Accordingly, some of the backup pins BPS are attracted to the magnet MP of the jig base GB by a magnetic force. Here, the strength of the adsorption holding force by the magnet MP is set to a force that is slightly stronger than the extent that the weight of the backup pin BP can be supported. In this state, the backup pin BPS is in a temporary holding state in which the holding is easily released if it is pulled away with a relatively strong force (step S40, corresponding to the “temporary holding step” of the present invention).
When the backup pin BPS is temporarily held, the elevating
Here, since the backup pin BP that is not the target of suction holding in the previous step S40 has no temporary holding relationship with the jig base GB side, the initial position is set when the pin holder base HB is lowered. While keeping, it descends with the pin holder base HB.
On the other hand, some backup pins BPS are temporarily held on the jig base GB side and remain on the jig base GB side. In addition, the
Therefore, in the process of lowering the pin holder base HB, a relative movement occurs between some backup pins BPS and the jig base GB. As a result, some of the backup pins BPS that have been in the initial position like the other backup pins BP until then start moving from the initial position and are displaced to the substrate support position shown in FIG. 22 (step S50, This corresponds to the “position displacement step” of the present invention).
Then, when some of the backup pins BPS reach the substrate support position shown in FIG. 22 as the horizontal table 140 is lowered, the lowering operation of the horizontal table 140 is once stopped and the
Then, as shown in FIG. 15, the flange portion of the backup pin BPS is sandwiched between the stepped
When a part of the backup pins BPS is finally held at the substrate support position, the elevating
At this time, a part of the backup pins BPS are in the state of being held, so that they are lowered together with the pin holder base HB. Accordingly, a force acts so as to separate the back-up pin BPS and the magnet MP from each other so that they are separated from each other. When this force exceeds the adsorption holding force of the magnet MP, as shown in FIG. The backup pin BPS is separated from the magnet MP of the jig base GB (step S70, corresponding to the “separation step” of the present invention).
When the operation of step S70 is completed, the positioning of the jig base GB by the positioning means is released, and the
Thereafter, the jig base GB taken out of the mounting machine Z1 is carried into the mounting machine Z2 by the
As a result, in the mounting machine Z1, the backup pin BP is replaced, and the backup pin BP is replaced in the mounting machine Z2. That is, among the backup pins BP on the pin holder base HB placed on the mounting machine Z2, a part of the backup pins BPS following the arrangement of the magnets MP of the jig base GB is held at the board support position. Become.
And in the mounting machine Z2, when the setup change work of the backup pin BP is completed, the jig base GB is sent to the mounting machine Z3 by the
Thus, among the backup pins BP on the pin holder base HB placed on the mounting machine Z3, a part of the backup pins BPS following the arrangement of the magnets MP of the jig base GB is held in the substrate support position. Become.
When the jig base GB in the mounting machine Z3 is carried out of the mounting machine, all the setup changes for the mounting line composed of the mounting machines Z1 to Z3 are completed. As a result, the mounting line composed of the mounting machines Z1 to Z3 can be operated (the board P can be supplied to the line and components can be mounted).
FIG. 25 shows a state after operating each of the mounting machines Z1 to Z3, that is, a state in which the substrate P after the product change is supported by the backup pins BPS after the setup change. As shown in the figure, the substrate P has components mounted on the upper surface in a state of being sandwiched up and down by pressing
Now, when the component mounting process is completed for the specified quantity for the board P after the type switching, it is necessary to perform the setup change operation of the backup pin BP again to switch the type. In order to perform the setup change operation, it is necessary to return the backup pin BP that has been permanently held at the substrate support position to the initial position. In this embodiment, the
As a result, the backup pin BP that has been permanently held at the substrate support position drops due to its own weight and automatically returns to the initial position. Therefore, it is necessary to perform the work of attaching the magnet MP to the mounting
Next, the effect of this embodiment is demonstrated.
1. Effects from the Structural Aspect As described above, according to the present embodiment, the backup pin BP is replaced using the pin holder base HB and the jig base GB paired therewith. I did it. The changeover operation of the backup pin BP itself is performed in each of the mounting machines Z1 to Z3. Of the two bases HB and GB, the jig base GB is transferred into the mounting machines Z1 to Z3 using the
In the embodiment, the mounting line has a line configuration in which the mounting machines Z1 to Z3 are connected in series. For one mounting machine Z, when the setup work of the backup pin BP is completed, The used jig base GB is sent to a downstream mounting machine (for example, the mounting machine Z1 → the mounting machine Z2). With such an operation procedure, it is possible to use a common jig base GB for all the mounting machines Z1 to Z3. Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a jig base GB for each of the mounting machines Z1 to Z3, which contributes to cost reduction.
In addition, the jig base GB can be replaced with the magnet MP, and the arrangement of the magnet MP can be freely changed. With such a configuration, as long as only one jig base GB is prepared, it is possible to cope with different types of substrates P. In this respect as well, a configuration suitable for cost reduction is possible. I can say that.
2. Effects seen from the aspect of workability According to the present embodiment, the jig base GB is provided with a plurality of mounting
Therefore, for example, compared with the case where each backup pin BP is individually displaced from the initial position to the substrate support position one by one using an automatic machine or the like, the setup change operation of the backup pin BP is shortened. It is possible to finish.
Thus, if the setup change operation of the backup pin BP can be completed in a short time, the time for stopping the mounting machines Z1 to Z3 can be shortened accordingly, which is suitable for improving the production efficiency. It becomes composition.
In addition, as described above, in this embodiment, if the backup pin BP changeover operation performed in each of the mounting machines Z1 to Z3 is performed only once ascending operation and once descending operation for the horizontal table 140. To come to completion. In this way, the setup change operation is simple and the number of processes is small, and the setup change operation for the backup pin BP can be completed in a short time. Accordingly, the above-described effect (productivity improvement effect) is exhibited as a synergistic effect together with the above configuration.
3. Other Effects In this embodiment, the jig base GB needs to have a function of temporarily holding the backup pin BP, which is realized by the magnet MP. Since the magnet MP is relatively inexpensive, there is also a cost advantage. Further, the suction holding force is of a moderate strength and can be easily separated, so that it is optimal as a temporary holding means.
In addition, in the present embodiment, the
In this embodiment, a common jig base GB is used for the mounting machines Z1 to Z3. When the setup is changed, the arrangement pattern of the magnets MP set on the jig base GB is changed to each mounting. It is copied as a pin arrangement of the backup pins BP of the machines Z1 to Z3. With such a configuration, if the operator can correctly attach the magnet MP to the jig base GB without any error in arrangement, the setting of the backup pins BPS on the mounting machines Z1 to Z3 will be correct in the pin arrangement. It is executed correctly. Therefore, the reliability of the setup change operation is extremely high. In other words, a device for preventing a mistake in pin arrangement is not required.
<Embodiment 2>
In the first embodiment, for the mounting machines Z1 to Z3, the common jig base GB is used to perform the setup change operation for the backup pin BP. That is, in the first embodiment, it is assumed that the mounting pins Z1 to 3 have the same pin arrangement for the backup pins BP.
On the other hand, in the second embodiment, even when the pin placement of the backup pins BP is different between the mounting machines Z1 to Z3, it is possible to cope with it. Specifically, an ID is added to the jig base GB in a readable manner, while each mounting machine Z1 to Z3 is newly provided with a reading device for reading the ID.
Then, based on the read ID, each mounting machine Z1 to Z3 determines whether or not the jig base GB is necessary for its own setup change (steps S23 and S25 in FIG. 26), and the self If it is not, the setup change operation is not performed and the jig base GB is unloaded as it is.
With such a configuration, it is possible to relatively easily cope with a situation in which the pin arrangement of the backup pins BP is different between the mounting machines Z1 to Z3, and the usability is improved.
<Embodiment 3>
In the first embodiment, the separating operation for separating the backup pin BPS from the magnet MP is performed by lowering the horizontal table 140. On the other hand, Embodiment 3 is configured to execute the detaching operation by raising the jig base GB side (see FIG. 27).

From the above, the

<Other embodiments>
The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described with reference to the above description and drawings. For example, the following embodiments are also included in the technical scope of the present invention, and further, within the scope not departing from the gist of the invention other than the following. Various modifications can be made.
(1) In the first embodiment, although the mounting operation time of the magnet MP is not specified, it is preferable to finish this during the operation time of the mounting machines Z1 to Z3. This is because if the setting operation of the magnet MP is completed in advance, after the mounting machine Z is stopped to perform the setup change, the loading operation of the jig base GB is started immediately. Therefore, the total work time required for the setup change work can be shortened, and the operating rate of the mounting machine can be increased.
(2) In the first embodiment, the backup pin BP is temporarily held using magnetic force. However, the temporary holding format is not limited to this, and for example, the backup pin BP is held with a part of the backup pin BP interposed therebetween. Various modifications are possible, such as holding the object or the hole. Also, in the case of using a magnetic force, an electromagnet can be used in addition to a magnet (permanent magnet).
