前記記録媒体に記録する指示あるいは前記記録媒体に記録した前記コンテンツの中から選択したコンテンツを指示する操作制御部と、
前記記録媒体に記録された前記コンテンツのうち前記操作制御部の指示により選択したコンテンツの再生を行って前記コンテンツの記録時間及び各コンテンツの中に含まれる1つの画像をサムネイル画像として抽出して記憶する録画再生情報管理部と、
前記記録媒体に記録された前記コンテンツを再生する時間を再生時間とするとき、（記録時間−再生時間）／（記録時間）の関係を有した縮小比率に前記サムネイル画像を乗算して縮小サムネイル画像を生成し、前記記録したコンテンツの名称と前記縮小サムネイル画像とを関係付けて一覧表として生成する一覧表生成部と、
前記一覧表を表示する表示部と、
