Abstract
Description
In the present invention, a fabric, a sheet-like member, a film-like member or a continuous series of thin plate members (hereinafter referred to as sheet-like members) are continuously supplied into a vacuum chamber to perform processes such as laminating, sputtering, and vapor deposition. And a vacuum seal mechanism capable of discharging.
Conventionally, for example, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 53-31670, a pair of substrate supply rolls 7 and laminated plate take-out rolls 8 are provided at the entrance and exit of a decompression chamber, and a flexible film is bonded in the decompression chamber Has been proposed. Thus, it is supposed that the film without a residual bubble can be made by manufacturing a laminated board in a decompression chamber.
However, in the conventional apparatus having such a configuration, for example, in a case where a pair of substrate supply rolls and a laminate take-out roll are provided at the entrance and exit of the decompression chamber, Dust generated by friction or the like may adhere to the film, which adversely affects the quality of the laminated film to be produced. In addition, since the roll has a one-stage configuration, there is a problem that it is difficult to maintain the flatness of the roll surface. Furthermore, the material which can be used as a roll was also limited. Moreover, the roll exchange operation was extremely difficult. Furthermore, in actual use, a thin tape is spirally wound around the roll surface, and there is a possibility that a gap may be generated due to a step between the overlapping portion and the single portion of the tape.
Further, in the case where a rubber seal roll, a metal roll, and a seal lip are provided at the entrance and exit of the processing chamber, there is a problem that the material that can be used as the roll is limited and the roll exchanging operation is extremely difficult.
The present invention has been proposed in view of the above, and continuously supplies a sheet-like member into a vacuum chamber that performs processing in a vacuum state, prevents dust and the like from adhering to the sheet-like member, and rolls It provides a vacuum seal mechanism that can maintain the flatness of the surface and can be easily replaced with a roll.
In order to achieve the above object, the vacuum seal mechanism of the present invention is a vacuum seal mechanism attached to the periphery of a slit for supplying or discharging a sheet-like member formed in a vacuum chamber or the like, and extending the slit. It comprises driving means and second driving means for pressing the side plate in the direction of the vacuum chamber. The roll pair arranged at the tip of the roll group is brought into close contact with each other and is arranged adjacent to the roll arranged at the tip. The roll pair thus formed is arranged with a predetermined interval, and the slit portion formed in the vacuum chamber is sealed.
In the present invention, the roll group is configured such that the roll diameter increases sequentially from the tip toward the vacuum chamber side.
In the present invention, the side plate is formed by combining a metal plate and a wear-resistant member.
Further, in the present invention, the roll group is provided with an urging means that press-contacts a roll disposed at the tip and a roll disposed adjacent thereto.
Further, in the present invention, the roll group includes a scraper that abuts on the circumferential surface of the roll to remove dust.
In the present invention, the roll group includes an adhesive roll that abuts against the circumferential surface of the roll to remove dust.
In the present invention, a dust box is disposed between the moving surface of the sheet-like member on the extended line of the slit and the outer edge of the roll disposed in contact with the vacuum chamber.
Since this invention consists of an above-described structure, there can exist an effect which is demonstrated below.
In the present invention, a vacuum seal mechanism attached to the periphery of a slit for supplying or discharging a sheet-like member formed in a vacuum chamber or the like, facing the moving surface of the sheet-like member on the extension line of the slit A group of rolls arranged in close contact with each other, a side plate in contact with a side surface of the roll group, driving means for pressing the side plate in the direction of the roll end surface, and pressing the side plate in the direction of the vacuum chamber A pair of rolls disposed at the front end of the roll group, and a pair of rolls disposed adjacent to the roll disposed at the front end with a predetermined interval. Since the slit portion formed in the vacuum chamber is sealed and the periphery of the slit is sealed and the inside of the vacuum chamber is maintained at a negative pressure, the sealing member is continuously supplied, or It is possible to discharge.
Moreover, the material of the last stage pinch roll can be freely selected by setting it as the multistage roll structure by a roll group. In addition, since a multi-stage roll configuration eliminates the need to add a seal mechanism to the pinch roll, it is easy to add a heating function and the like, and maintenance work such as roll replacement is facilitated. Furthermore, the flatness of the surface of the pair of upper and lower pinch rolls can always be maintained by using a multi-stage roll configuration.
Further, in the present invention, the roll group is configured such that the roll diameter is sequentially increased from the tip toward the vacuum chamber side, so that the circumferential length of the roll in contact with the vacuum chamber can be increased and wear can be reduced. it can.
In the present invention, since the side plate is configured by combining a metal plate and an abrasion-resistant member, it is possible to improve sealing performance and wear resistance. Further, the strength of the side plate can be maintained.
In the present invention, the roll group is provided with an urging means that press-contacts the roll disposed at the tip and the roll disposed adjacent thereto, so that the sealing performance between the rolls can be maintained.
Further, in the present invention, the roll group includes a scraper that contacts the roll peripheral surface and removes dust, so that dust generated from the roll peripheral surface can be prevented from adhering to the sheet-like member.
Further, in the present invention, the roll group includes an adhesive roll that contacts the roll peripheral surface and removes dust, so that dust generated from the roll peripheral surface can be prevented from adhering to the sheet-like member.
Further, in the present invention, a dust box is disposed between the moving surface of the sheet-like member on the extension line of the slit and the outer edge of the roll disposed in contact with the vacuum chamber. It can prevent adhering to a sheet-like member.
In the vacuum seal mechanism, a plurality of rolls closely contacted with each other, a side plate in contact with the side surface of the roll, a driving means for pressing the side plate in the direction of the roll end surface, and a first plate for pressing the side plate toward the vacuum chamber. It is an object of the present invention to provide a vacuum seal mechanism that can supply and discharge a sheet-like member continuously by sealing a slit portion with a pair of rolls arranged at the front end and being in close contact with each other. Can be achieved. Moreover, while preventing dust etc. adhering to a sheet-like member, the flatness of a roll surface can be maintained.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings illustrating an embodiment. 1 is a cross-sectional view showing an outline of a vacuum seal mechanism according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a side view thereof, FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of a main part showing a side plate portion of the vacuum seal mechanism, and FIG. It is principal part sectional drawing which shows a side-plate part. Here, the
In this embodiment, the roll group is composed of three pairs of
Further, as shown in FIG. 4, the
In this embodiment, for example, the roll 16 (pinch roll) is a rubber roll having a rubber roll or the like attached to the peripheral surface of the metal roll, the
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the

The
The roll group is covered with a
Further, as shown in FIG. 2, a
As shown in FIG. 4, the
According to the vacuum sealing mechanism of the present invention configured as described above, the material of the pinch roll can be freely selected without considering the sealing performance. Moreover, the flatness of the pinch roll surface can be maintained. Furthermore, since the pinch roll does not require a sealing mechanism, the roll exchange operation is easy. Further, dust generated by the
