本出願は2003年5月19日付けで出願した米国仮出願60/471,636の一部継続出願である。
(発明の説明)
本発明で使用可能な基質は公知の如何なる板状顔料であってもよく、好適には効果顔料(これは場合により幅広く多様な無機着色剤で覆われていてもよい)であってもよい。

比較の目的で、実施例20の生成物の代わりにHi Lite Super Blueと0.25%のカーボンブラック顔料の物理的混合物を用いて調製を繰り返した。皮膚の拭き取りを行った時、前記混合した顔料では後に残留物が残ったが、炭素被覆顔料では残留物が残らない。

防腐剤および抗酸化剤 適量
次に、7部のパルミチン酸オクチルと1部のネオペンタン酸イソステアリルの加熱混合を均一になるまで行ない、その時点で、結果として得た混合物を前記分散液の中に噴霧して、混合を継続する。その混合した材料を粉砕した後、Cloisonne(商標)Red 424Cを5部および本発明の顔料を5部加えて、混合を均一な粉末アイシャドーが得られるまで行う。

抗酸化剤 適量
本発明の顔料が13部でカオリンが1部の混合物を加えた後、前記顔料が全部良好に分散するまで混合する。所望に応じて香料を加えた後、撹拌を伴わせて混合する。その結果として得た混合物を75±5℃の鋳型の中に注ぎ込み、冷却した後、炎で処理して口紅にする。
Claims (10)
- 顔料であって、効果顔料基質を含んで成っていて前記効果顔料基質の上に炭素含有イオン種を含んで成る炭素含有有機被膜を有しかつ場合により前記顔料の耐候性が向上するように前記炭素被膜の上に付着している金属酸化物およびシランカップリング剤を含有していてもよくかつ場合により二価の鉄、三価の鉄またはこれらの混合物を含有していてもよい顔料。
- 前記有機被膜が前記顔料基質の上に炭素被膜を生じるように処理されている請求項1記載の顔料。
- 前記効果顔料基質が雲母、オキシ塩化ビスマス、ガラスフレーク、板状酸化鉄、板状酸化アルミニウム、板状二酸化ケイ素またはそれらの金属酸化物被覆誘導体から成る群から選択される板状基質である請求項1記載の顔料。
- 前記炭素被膜が該顔料の全重量の約5%未満である請求項2記載の顔料。
- 前記炭素含有イオン種が少なくとも1種の重合体である請求項1記載の顔料。
- 前記有機被膜が交互に位置するカチオン重合体層とアニオン重合体層で構成されている請求項1記載の顔料。
- 前記基質が少なくとも1つの交互に連続するポリジアリルジメチルアンモニウムクロライドとポリ(4−スチレンスルホン酸ナトリウム)で被覆されている請求項6記載の顔料。
- 更に酸化セリウムも含有する請求項1記載の顔料。
- 前記効果顔料基質が二酸化チタンで被覆されている雲母または酸化鉄で被覆されている雲母である請求項1記載の顔料。
- 炭素で被覆されている高光沢の板状顔料を製造する方法であって、板状顔料基質を少なくとも1種の炭素含有イオン種でか或は交互に位置する反対の電荷を持つ炭素含有イオン種の層で被覆し、その被膜を処理することで前記基質の上に炭素被膜を生じさせることを含んで成る方法。
