Abstract
【解決手段】トラッキングサーボ状態で光ディスクに記録されているピットからの反射光から得られるRF信号の最小ピット振幅値と最大ピット振幅値の比と球面収差との相関関係を予め求めて光情報記録再生装置に記憶しておき、光ディスクへの情報記録に際して、RF信号の最小ピット振幅値と最大ピット振幅値の比を算出し、記憶している相関関係と算出結果とを比較して、算出結果が無収差状態となるように、収差補正光学系及び駆動機械系にフィードバックをかけて補正制御を行う。

Claims (6)
- 光記録媒体に対して光ピックアップからレーザ光を照射し、前記光記録媒体に記録対象情報に対応するピットを形成して情報を記録する光情報記録再生装置において、
トラッキングサーボ状態で前記光記録媒体に記録されているピットからの反射光から得られるRF信号の最小ピット振幅値と最大ピット振幅値を検出する振幅値検出手段と、
前記振幅値検出手段によって検出された最小ピット振幅値と最大ピット振幅値に基づいて、レーザ光スポットに含まれる収差状況を判定する収差状況判定手段と、
前記判定された収差状況に応じて、前記レーザ光スポットの収差を補正する収差補正手段とを備えている
ことを特徴とする光情報記録再生装置。 - 前記収差状況判定手段は、
RF信号の最小ピット振幅値と最大ピット振幅値の比の値と収差量との相関関係が予め記憶されている記憶手段と、
前記振幅値検出手段によって検出された最小ピット振幅値と最大ピット振幅値の比の値を演算する演算手段と、
該演算手段による演算結果の比の値と、前記記憶手段に記憶されている相関関係とを比較することによって、収差状況を判定する判定手段とを有する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光情報記録再生装置。 - 前記収差状況判定手段は、前記収差状況として球面収差発生量を判定する
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光情報記録再生装置。 - 光記録媒体に対して光ピックアップからレーザ光を照射し、前記光記録媒体に記録対象情報に対応するピットを形成して情報を記録する光情報記録再生装置において、
非トラッキングサーボ状態で前記光記録媒体からの反射光から得られるRF信号の包絡線の最小振幅値と最大振幅値を検出する振幅値検出手段と、
前記振幅値検出手段によって検出された最小振幅値と最大振幅値に基づいて、レーザ光スポットに含まれる収差状況を判定する収差状況判定手段と、
前記判定された収差状況に応じて、前記レーザ光スポットの収差を補正する収差補正手段とを備えている
ことを特徴とする光情報記録再生装置。 - 前記収差状況判定手段は、
前記最小振幅値と最大振幅値の比の値と収差量との相関関係が予め記憶されている記憶手段と、
前記振幅値検出手段によって検出された最小振幅値と最大振幅値の比の値を演算する演算手段と、
該演算手段による演算結果の比の値と、前記記憶手段に記憶されている相関関係とを比較することによって、収差状況を判定する判定手段とを有する
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の光情報記録再生装置。 - 前記収差状況判定手段は、前記収差状況としてコマ収差発生量を判定する
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の光情報記録再生装置。
