Devices for generating a chemical or biochemical reaction of a sample and detecting the state of the sample after the reaction are known. For example,
In any of the above-described conventional apparatuses, it is difficult to automatically execute all the work steps required until the inspection of the sample is completed after the sample is set in the apparatus using the functions provided in the apparatus. For example, in the gene detection chip described in
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to automatically execute all the steps from the setting of a sample to the apparatus until the end of the inspection of the sample with a simple apparatus structure.

In one embodiment, the drug chamber is connected to the test chamber, and the action of the pump chamber causes the sample in the sample chamber and the drug in the drug chamber to be transferred and mixed together into the test chamber. ing.
In another embodiment, the drug chamber and the test chamber are the same chamber, and the sample in the sample chamber is transferred into the test chamber (drug chamber) by the action of the pump chamber, and the test chamber ( It is mixed with the medicine in the medicine chamber).
Furthermore, the inspection chamber and the pump chamber may be the same chamber.
A sample inspection method according to another aspect of the present invention includes a preparation step of setting a sample and a drug in the sample chamber and the drug chamber, respectively, of the sample test apparatus described above, and the thermal expansion fluid in the pump chamber by a pump temperature control device. The method includes a transfer step of transferring the sample in the sample chamber into the inspection chamber by changing the volume, and an inspection step of performing the sample inspection in the inspection chamber.
According to the present invention, it is possible to automatically execute all processes from the setting of a sample to the apparatus to the end of the inspection of the sample with a simple apparatus structure.
FIG. 1 is a plan view of a sample inspection apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view along the main flow path of the apparatus.
The
That is, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, four types of
The
The
The
The
As shown in FIG. 2, a reaction
Although not shown, a control circuit that is connected to the
The
As can be seen from FIG. 1, a plurality of (two in this embodiment)
The
Below, the usage and operation | movement of the sample test |
First, a preparation process for setting the sample reaction solution and the drug in the
Thereafter, a reaction process for DNA amplification is started. In the reaction process, the reaction
After the reaction step is completed, a transfer step is performed. That is, the pump
When the sample reaction solution and the drug solution flow into the
The inspection process is automatically started in this way, in which the medicine contained in the inspection part in the
As can be seen from the above description, as long as the sample reaction solution and the drug solution are set in the
FIG. 4 is a plan view of a sample inspection apparatus according to another embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view along the main flow path of the apparatus. In FIGS. 4 and 5 and other figures described later, elements having basically the same functions as those described in FIGS. 1 and 2 described above are denoted by the same reference numerals.
The
That is, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the
One heat input / output surface of each of the
The
The usage and operation of the
First, in the preparation step, a sample reaction solution for amplifying DNA as already described is injected into the
After the reaction step is completed, a transfer step is performed, where the pump
As described above, all steps of DNA amplification reaction, liquid transfer and electrochemical genetic testing can be automatically performed and controlled by electrical control by the
FIG. 6 is a plan view of a sample inspection apparatus according to still another embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view along the main flow path of the apparatus.
The
That is, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the
The
The
The

Other configurations are basically the same as those of the
The usage and operation of the
First, in the preparation step, a sample reaction solution for amplifying DNA as already described is injected into the
Thereafter, the reaction step is performed. Here, the pump
When the sample reaction solution reaches the last end of the
Also in the one-chip type

As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the part directly involved in the DNA amplification reaction of the
In the
Thereafter, the transfer process is started, where the pump
According to this
As a modification of the
