Description
この発明は、重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の製造装置に関し、さらに詳しくは、高温ガス炉用燃料の燃料核の製造に有用な真球度の良好な重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子を効率よく製造することができると共に、省スペース化もできる重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の製造装置に関する。 The present invention relates to an apparatus for producing ammonium heavy uranate particles, and more specifically, it can efficiently produce ammonium uranate particles having good sphericity and useful for producing fuel nuclei for HTGR fuel. In addition, the present invention relates to an apparatus for producing ammonium heavy uranate particles that can save space.
The high-temperature gas furnace is made of graphite having a large heat capacity and excellent high-temperature soundness. In this high-temperature gas furnace, a gas such as helium gas that does not cause a chemical reaction even at a high temperature and has high safety is used as a cooling gas, so that the cooling gas can be safely taken out even when the outlet temperature is high. be able to. Therefore, even if the temperature of the core rises to about 900 ° C, the cooling gas heated to a high temperature can be used safely in a wide range of fields, including power generation, hydrogen production equipment, and other chemical plants. It is said.
また、この高温ガス炉に投入される高温ガス炉用燃料は、一般的に、燃料核とこの燃料核の周囲を被覆する被覆層とを備えて成る。燃料核は、例えば、二酸化ウランをセラミックス状に焼結して成る直径約350〜650μmの微粒子である。 Moreover, the fuel for a high temperature gas reactor to be charged into the high temperature gas reactor generally includes a fuel core and a coating layer that covers the periphery of the fuel core. The fuel core is, for example, fine particles having a diameter of about 350 to 650 μm formed by sintering uranium dioxide into a ceramic form.
The coating layer mainly has a four-layer structure, and has a first layer, a second layer, a third layer, and a fourth layer from the fuel core surface side. The first layer is formed of low-density pyrolytic carbon having a density of about 1 g / cm 3 , functions as a gas reservoir for gaseous fission products (FP), and serves as a buffer for absorbing fuel nuclear swelling. It also has the function of The second layer is formed of high-density pyrolytic carbon having a density of about 1.8 g / cm 3 and has a function of holding a gaseous FP. The third layer is formed of silicon carbide (SiC) or the like having a density of about 3.2 g / cm 3 , has a function of holding a solid FP, and is a main strength member of the coating layer. The fourth layer is formed of high-density pyrolytic carbon having a density of about 1.8 g / cm 3 and has a function of holding a gaseous FP and also a function of a protective layer of the third layer. . The diameter of the coated particles forming these coating layers is usually about 500 to 1000 μm.
The fuel nuclei (coated fuel particles) covered with the four coating layers are dispersed in a graphite matrix and molded into a fixed fuel compact shape. The fuel compact is a cylinder made of graphite. A fixed quantity is accommodated in the container and plugged up and down to form a fuel rod. Ultimately, this fuel rod is inserted into a plurality of insertion holes of the hexagonal column type graphite block, and a core is formed by arranging a plurality of the hexagonal column type graphite blocks in a honeycomb shape and stacking a plurality of stages. The
Such a HTGR fuel can generally be manufactured through the following steps. First, a uranium nitrate solution is prepared by dissolving uranium oxide powder in nitric acid. Next, a thickener is added to this uranyl nitrate solution and mixed with stirring to prepare a uranyl nitrate-containing stock solution (hereinafter simply referred to as “stock solution”) for producing ammonium biuranium particles. A thickener is a substance that increases the viscosity of a stock solution dripped into an aqueous ammonia solution described later, and is added so that the stock solution droplets become spherical due to their surface tension during the fall. Examples of the thickener include polyvinyl alcohol, a resin having a property of solidifying under alkaline conditions, tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol, polyethylene glycol, and metroses.
The stock solution thus prepared is cooled to a predetermined temperature, and after the viscosity is adjusted, the aqueous ammonia solution in the precipitation tank is vibrated by vibrating this nozzle from the nozzle with a small diameter of the stock droplet lower vessel. It is dripped in. The droplets dropped into the aqueous ammonia solution are sprayed with ammonia gas in the space up to the surface of the aqueous ammonia solution. Since the droplet surface is gelled by this ammonia gas and a film is formed, the droplet particles on which the gel film is formed are prevented from being deformed by an impact when falling onto the surface of the aqueous ammonia solution. In this precipitation tank, uranyl nitrate contained in the stock solution reacts with ammonia to form ammonium heavy uranate particles. As will be described in detail later, the formed ammonium heavy uranate particles are transferred to a purification apparatus provided separately from the precipitation tank, and subjected to aging treatment, washing treatment and drying treatment in this order.
乾燥処理された重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子は、大気中で焙焼され、三酸化ウラン粒子となる。さらに、この三酸化ウラン粒子は、還元及び焼結されることにより、高密度のセラミック状の二酸化ウラン粒子となる。このようにして形成された二酸化ウラン粒子は分級され、所定の粒子径を有する燃料核微粒子として取得される。 The dried ammonium heavy uranate particles are roasted in the air to become uranium trioxide particles. Further, the uranium trioxide particles are reduced and sintered to become high-density ceramic uranium dioxide particles. The uranium dioxide particles thus formed are classified and obtained as fuel core fine particles having a predetermined particle diameter.
The fuel core particles obtained in this way are loaded onto a fluidized bed and coated by thermally decomposing the coating gas. For example, the first layer can be formed by pyrolyzing acetylene at about 1400 ° C., and the second and fourth layers can be formed by pyrolyzing propylene at about 1400 ° C. it can. For example, the third layer can be formed by thermally decomposing methyltrichlorosilane at about 1600 ° C. The coated fuel particles thus formed are classified and obtained as fuel core fine particles having a predetermined particle diameter.
所定の粒子径を有する被覆燃料粒子は、その表面に、黒鉛粉末及び粘結剤等から成る黒鉛マトリックス材が塗布され、オーバーコート粒子が形成される。このようにして形成されたオーバーコート粒子は分級され、所定の粒子径を有するオーバーコート粒子として取得される。 The coated fuel particles having a predetermined particle diameter are coated on the surface with a graphite matrix material made of graphite powder, a binder, and the like to form overcoat particles. The overcoat particles thus formed are classified and obtained as overcoat particles having a predetermined particle diameter.
通常の燃料コンパクトは、所定の粒子径を有するオーバーコート粒子を中空円筒状又は中密円筒状にプレス成型又はモールド成型した後、焼成して製造することができる。(非特許文献1及び2参照)。
An ordinary fuel compact can be manufactured by press-molding or molding overcoat particles having a predetermined particle diameter into a hollow cylindrical shape or a medium-density cylindrical shape, and then firing. (See
According to the conventional apparatus for producing ammonium heavy uranate particles, first, a uranium nitrate solution is prepared by dissolving uranium oxide powder in nitric acid in a dissolution tank. The prepared uranyl nitrate solution is transferred to the stock solution preparation tank via the pump by the uranyl nitrate solution transfer pipe, and the thickener-containing solution is supplied to the stock solution preparation tank containing the uranyl nitrate solution. A stock solution containing uranyl nitrate is prepared by thoroughly mixing the viscous solution.
Next, the stock solution is transferred to a dropping device by a stock solution transfer pipe for transporting the stock solution, and the stock solution is dropped into an aqueous ammonia solution charged in a precipitation tank from a dropping nozzle, and nitric acid in the stock solution in the form of dropped droplets. Uranyl and ammonia in an aqueous ammonia solution are reacted to form coarse particles of ammonium heavy uranate in the aqueous ammonia solution. At this time, in order to prevent the formed ammonium heavy uranate particles from being deposited and deformed in the lower layer of the precipitation tank, the circulation route or the like is used so that the ammonium heavy uranate particles can flow upward in the aqueous ammonia solution. Aqueous ammonia solution is ejected from the lower part of the precipitation tank by the flow means.
このようにして形成された重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子は沈殿槽から熟成槽に移送される。重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子を移送するには、通常、沈殿槽内のアンモニア水溶液と共に重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子を自重によって熟成槽に落下させる方法が採られる。 The ammonium heavy uranate particles thus formed are transferred from the precipitation tank to the aging tank. In order to transfer the ammonium heavy uranate particles, a method of dropping the ammonium heavy uranate particles together with the aqueous ammonia solution in the precipitation tank into the aging tank by its own weight is usually employed.
このようにして移送された重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子は熟成槽で更に熟成される。熟成は、沈殿槽から移送されてきたアンモニア水溶液と重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子とを熟成槽内で更に攪拌することからなる。これによって熟成槽内で前記粒子の芯まで重ウラン酸アンモニウムが形成される。熟成槽で熟成された重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子は、熟成槽から洗浄槽に移送される。 The ammonium heavy uranate particles thus transferred are further aged in an aging tank. The aging consists of further stirring the aqueous ammonia solution and the ammonium heavy uranate particles transferred from the precipitation tank in the aging tank. This forms ammonium heavy uranate in the aging tank to the core of the particles. The ammonium heavy uranate particles aged in the aging tank are transferred from the aging tank to the washing tank.
In the cleaning tank containing ammonium heavy uranate particles, a cleaning agent such as water is supplied into the cleaning tank. In the cleaning agent, the ammonium heavy uranate particles become fluidized, and impurities contained in the ammonium heavy uranate particles are removed from the ammonium heavy uranate particles. From the washing tank, ammonium heavy uranate particles are transferred to the drying tank. In the drying tank, the ammonium heavy uranate particles are dried by heating the inside.
このようにして製造された重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子は、上述したように、アンモニア水溶液中で重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子を形成させる際に、形成された重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子をアンモニア水溶液内で上昇流動させているから、真球度が良好な重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子を形成させることができる。 As described above, the ammonium heavy uranate particles produced in this way are allowed to flow upward in the aqueous ammonia solution when the ammonium heavy uranate particles are formed in the aqueous ammonia solution. Therefore, it is possible to form ammonium heavy uranate particles having good sphericity.
ところが、アンモニア水溶液中で形成された真球度が良好な重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子を熟成処理、洗浄処理及び乾燥処理すると、その真球度が悪化することがあるという問題があった。 However, when ammonium heavy uranate particles having good sphericity formed in an aqueous ammonia solution are subjected to aging treatment, washing treatment and drying treatment, the sphericity may be deteriorated.
さらに、前述したように、従来の重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の製造装置では、沈殿槽、熟成槽、洗浄槽及び乾燥槽がそれぞれ別体として配置されているため、スペースの有効利用が困難であるという問題もあった。 Furthermore, as described above, in the conventional apparatus for producing ammonium heavy uranate particles, the precipitation tank, the ripening tank, the washing tank and the drying tank are arranged as separate bodies, making it difficult to effectively use the space. There was also a problem.
この発明は、このような従来の問題を解消し、高温ガス炉用燃料の燃料核の製造に有用な真球度の良好な重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子を製造することができると共に、省スペース化もできる重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の製造装置を提供することを目的とする。この発明はまた、生産性よく重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子を製造することのできる重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の製造装置を提供することを目的とする。 The present invention solves such conventional problems, and can produce ammonium uranate particles having good sphericity and useful for the production of fuel nuclei for high-temperature gas reactor fuel, and also saves space. An object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for producing ammonium heavy uranate particles. Another object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for producing ammonium heavy uranate particles capable of producing ammonium heavy uranate particles with high productivity.
本発明者は、重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の真球度が悪化する原因が、真球度が良好な重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子を、槽から槽へ移送する場合に、特に前記沈殿槽から前記乾燥槽に移送する場合に、自重によって落下させたときに生じる機械的衝撃にあることを見出し、この発明を完成させた。 The inventor found that when the sphericity of ammonium heavy uranate particles deteriorates, the ammonium uranate particles having good sphericity are transferred from tank to tank, particularly from the precipitation tank to the drying tank. The present invention was completed by discovering that there is a mechanical impact that occurs when the product is dropped due to its own weight.

As means for solving the above problems,

In a fourth aspect of the present invention, a plurality of production apparatuses for ammonium heavy uranate particles according to any one of
In the present invention, the step of forming ammonium heavy uranate particles in which the uranyl nitrate particles that are necessary for producing ammonium heavy uranate particles are changed to ammonium heavy uranate particles, the formed ammonium heavy uranate particles Further, an aging step for aging, a washing step for washing the ripened ammonium heavy uranate particles, and a drying step for drying the washed ammonium heavy uranate particles are performed in a single production tank. Therefore, unlike the conventional case, it is not necessary to transfer the ammonium uranate particles having a good sphericity in the aqueous ammonia solution from the tank to the tank, particularly from the precipitation tank to the aging tank. An apparatus for producing ammonium heavy uranate particles capable of producing ammonium uranate particles having good sphericity without deteriorating the sphericity of ammonium heavy uranate particles due to mechanical impact generated during transfer. Can be provided.
また、この発明においては、重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の形成工程、熟成工程、洗浄工程及び乾燥工程が単一の製造槽で実行されるので、省スペース化を図ることができると共に、生産性の高い重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の製造装置を提供することができる。 In the present invention, the formation process, the ripening process, the washing process and the drying process of the ammonium heavy uranate particles are performed in a single production tank, so that space can be saved and productivity is high. An apparatus for producing ammonium biuranate particles can be provided.
In the present invention, by providing a plurality of single production apparatuses that perform formation, ripening, washing and drying of ammonium heavy uranate particles, for example, in the first production apparatus, the step of forming ammonium heavy uranate particles is performed. And performing the aging process in the second manufacturing apparatus, the cleaning process in the third manufacturing apparatus, and the drying process in the fourth manufacturing apparatus, respectively, When the aging step is started after finishing the formation process of ammonium heavy uranate particles in the first manufacturing apparatus, the cleaning process is performed in the second manufacturing apparatus at the same time or at different times, and the third manufacturing apparatus is used. When the drying process and the formation process of ammonium heavy uranate particles are respectively performed in the fourth manufacturing apparatus and the aging process in the first manufacturing apparatus is completed and the cleaning process is started, The drying process is performed in the second manufacturing apparatus, the ammonium heavy uranate particle forming process is performed in the third manufacturing apparatus, and the ripening process is performed in the fourth manufacturing apparatus, and the cleaning is performed in the first manufacturing apparatus.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the liquid take-out means 31 is connected to an
液供給手段32は、図1及び図2に示されるように、製造槽10Aにおいて、前記開口部11が設けられた前記一つの面に対向する底面に設けられた開口部38と、前記開口部38に接続された弁装置39例えば底栓弁と、前記弁装置39の先端に設けられた管継手手段36とを備えてなる。

A simple pipe coupling means 36 is provided. A pump 33A is interposed in the middle of the liquid transfer means 33, and a valve device 35A, for example, a switching valve and a

In the middle of the transfer path 71,
なお、移送路71は、図1に示される経路に限定されることはなく、要するに、製造槽10Aの内部空間内の内容物を製造槽10Aの外部に排出することができる移送路であればよい。 The transfer path 71 is not limited to the path shown in FIG. 1. In short, any transfer path that can discharge the contents in the internal space of the manufacturing tank 10 </ b> A to the outside of the manufacturing tank 10 </ b> A. Good.
As described above, the manufacturing tank 10 </ b> A including the
As described above, the
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the original droplet dropping means 40 includes a
As shown in FIG. 1, the ammonia aqueous solution supply means 50 includes an ammonia aqueous solution supply source 51 for supplying an ammonia aqueous solution adjusted to a predetermined ammonia concentration, and an ammonia aqueous solution stored in the ammonia aqueous solution supply source 51. And a transfer path 52 for supplying the liquid into the internal space of the
アンモニア水溶液供給源51は、所定の濃度を有するアンモニア水溶液を提供することができる限り様々の構成を採用することができ、例えば純水を貯留したタンク内にアンモニアガスをバブリングすることによりアンモニア水溶液を調製することのできるアンモニア水溶液貯留槽等を挙げることができる。 The ammonia aqueous solution supply source 51 can adopt various configurations as long as it can provide an aqueous ammonia solution having a predetermined concentration. For example, by bubbling ammonia gas into a tank in which pure water is stored, the aqueous ammonia solution is supplied. Examples thereof include an aqueous ammonia storage tank that can be prepared.
洗浄液供給手段60は、水特に純水を製造槽10Aの内部空間内に供給するための水供給手段と、アルコールを製造槽10Aの内部空間内に供給するためのアルコール供給手段とを備えている。
The cleaning liquid supply means 60 includes water supply means for supplying water, particularly pure water, into the internal space of the
The water supply means includes a water supply source 61 that supplies water into the internal space of the
The alcohol supply means includes an alcohol supply source 63 that supplies alcohol into the internal space of the
前記アルコールとしては、メチルアルコール、エチルアルコール、プロピルアルコール、イソプロピルアルコール等を挙げることができる。 Examples of the alcohol include methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, propyl alcohol, and isopropyl alcohol.

As the drying means 17, various configurations can be adopted as long as the ammonium heavy uranate particles existing in the internal space of the
このように構成された製造装置1の作用について以下に説明する。なお、初期状態として、前記製造槽10Aの内部空間内は空であり、液面調整手段13の開閉弁は閉鎖状態にされている。
The operation of the
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
As shown in FIG. 2, the ammonia atmosphere forming means 43 in the original droplet lowering means 40 disposed above the
一方、流動手段30におけるポンプ33A(図1参照)が起動され、液取り出し手段31の開閉弁34Bが開けられると共に、液移送手段33の弁装置35A及び35Bが切替えられ、さらに、液供給手段32の弁装置39が開けられ、製造槽10Aに装填されたアンモニア水溶液を製造槽10A及び液移送手段33の間を循環させる。
On the other hand, the pump 33A (see FIG. 1) in the flow means 30 is activated, the on-off valve 34B of the liquid take-out means 31 is opened, the
As shown in FIG. 2, the space including the
The
In this way, the uranyl nitrate on the droplet surface is converted to ammonium deuterated uranate before the droplet of the stock solution dropped from the dropping
また、アンモニア水溶液中に没した液滴80が製造槽10A内でアンモニア水溶液中を流動していると、アンモニア水溶液中に落下してきた液滴80の上に別の液滴が積み重なることによって液滴が堆積することがなく、アンモニア水溶液中で多数の液滴80が流動した状態で存在することになる。その結果、堆積による液滴80の変形が生じることがないから、真球度が良好な重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子が形成される。
Further, when the
なお、前記原液の滴下中は、液面調整手段13の開閉弁を開け、液滴80の滴下量に相当するアンモニア水溶液を製造槽10Aの外部に排出する。
During the dropping of the stock solution, the opening / closing valve of the liquid level adjusting means 13 is opened, and an aqueous ammonia solution corresponding to the dropping amount of the
所定量の原液が滴下されたら、つまり重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の形成工程が終了したら、弁体12及び液面調整手段13が閉鎖状態にされ、原液滴下手段40の隔絶部材44が退避される。さらに、液取り出し手段31の開閉弁34B及び液供給手段32の弁装置39が閉鎖状態にされ、流動手段30におけるポンプ33Aが停止される。前記したように、前記管継手手段36の構成に応じて液移送手段33が製造槽10Aから切り離される。
When a predetermined amount of the stock solution is dropped, that is, when the step of forming ammonium heavy uranate particles is completed, the
Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 3, the
さらに、このように、アンモニア水溶液中で形成された重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子が製造槽10Aから移送されることなく、引き続き熟成工程が行われるから、アンモニア水溶液中で形成された重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の良好な真球度を悪化させることがなく、真球度がより良好な重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子が形成される。
Furthermore, since the aging step is subsequently performed without transferring the ammonium heavy uranate particles formed in the aqueous ammonia solution from the
When the aging process is completed, the rotation of the
When the discharge of the aqueous ammonia solution is completed, the
重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の純水洗浄が終了すると、前記アンモニア水溶液の排出と同様にして、製造槽10Aの回転が停止され、液移送手段33が製造槽10Aから切り離された場合には、再度、同様にして、流動手段30が製造槽10Aに接続されて、製造槽10Aに装填された純水が排出手段70のタンク73に排出される。
When the deionized water washing of ammonium deuterated uranium particles is completed, the rotation of the
Next, in the same manner as the pure water cleaning, alcohol cleaning of the ammonium heavy uranate particles is performed at a predetermined temperature for a predetermined time. When the washing process of ammonium heavy uranate particles is completed, the rotation of the
アルコールの排出が終了すると、前記フィルタ47に接続された弁装置39が閉鎖状態にされ、製造槽10Aが回転されると共に、前記加熱手段によって加熱されて、重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の乾燥が行われる。
When the discharge of alcohol is completed, the
このようにして、製造槽10A内で重ウラン酸アンモニウム形成工程、熟成工程、洗浄工程及び乾燥工程が行われる。
In this way, the ammonium biuranate formation step, the aging step, the washing step, and the drying step are performed in the

As mentioned above, although an example of the manufacturing apparatus of this invention was demonstrated, this invention is not limited to the said example, A design change can be suitably carried out within the scope of this invention.
For example, the drying means 17 has a double structure for the
前記製造槽10Aは、菱形立方八面体(斜方立方八面体)に形成されているが、この形状に限らず他の様々の形状とされてもよい。例えば、横断面積が上端及び下端に向かって漸次減少する上部及び下部を備えた円筒形状、つまり、円筒状の中部と、中部に一体とされた円錐状の上部と、中部に一体とされた逆円錐状の下部とを有する形状が挙げられる。 10 A of said manufacturing tanks are formed in the rhombus cubic octahedron (rhombic cubic octahedron), However, Not only this shape but other various shapes may be made. For example, a cylindrical shape with an upper portion and a lower portion whose cross-sectional area gradually decreases toward the upper end and the lower end, that is, a cylindrical middle portion, a conical upper portion integrated in the middle portion, and a reverse shape integrated in the middle portion. The shape which has a conical lower part is mentioned.
前記流動手段30は、前記製造槽10Aに形成された二つの開口部34Aと38又は開口部34Aと弁体12とを連結するように構成されているが、前記製造槽10Aに三つ以上の開口部が形成され、これらを連結するように構成されてもよい。
The flow means 30 is configured to connect the two
前記弁装置53、65、75及び76は、切替弁を採用しているが、開閉弁等を採用してもよい。
The
製造槽10Aは、前記弁体12上にフィルタ47及び弁装置39が装着されるように成っているが、この構成に代えて、例えば、前記開口部38にフィルタを設けてもよい。
The
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, the
In the modification shown in FIG. 4, the driving force generated by the driving means 19 </ b> C is transmitted to the
この製造装置1においては、重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の形成工程、熟成工程、洗浄工程及び乾燥工程が単一の製造槽10Aで実行されるから、形成工程においてアンモニア水溶液中で形成された重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の良好な真球度を維持したまま、熟成工程、洗浄工程及び乾燥工程を行うことができ、したがって、真球度の良好な重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子を高い生産性を持って製造することができる。
In this
また、この製造装置1においては、従来におけるように、重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子を熟成、洗浄及び乾燥するための熟成槽、洗浄槽及び乾燥槽が不要になるから、それだけ省スペース化を図ることができる。したがって、従来の製造装置の設置に要求されるスペースに、前記製造槽10Aを複数設置することができるから、設置面積に対する製造量を容易に増大させることができる。
Moreover, in this
この発明の別の一例としての重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の製造装置(以下、単に、「製造装置」と称することがある。)2を図5及び図6に示す。この製造装置2は、製造槽10Bと、回転手段20と、原液滴下手段40と、アンモニア水供給手段50(図示しない。)と、洗浄水供給手段60(図示しない。)と、乾燥手段17とを備えている。
FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 show an apparatus for producing ammonium heavy uranate particles (hereinafter, simply referred to as “manufacturing apparatus”) 2 as another example of the present invention. The manufacturing apparatus 2 includes a
製造槽10Bは、図5及び図6に示されるように、前記製造槽10Aと同様に、内部空間を備え、原液の液滴を前記内部空間に受け入れることのできる開口部11と、重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の形成工程において、前記内部空間に装入されたアンモニア水溶液の液量を一定に保つための液面調整手段13とを備えている。
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the manufacturing tank 10 </ b> B is provided with an internal space similar to the manufacturing tank 10 </ b> A, and has an
The shape of the
図5及び図6に示されるように、製造槽10Bは、前記下部82の底部から連続する支持部材21Cが形成され、前記底部の内壁には開口部38が形成されている。この支持部材21Cは、前記開口部38の開口径よりも大きな内径を有する管状部材であり、その内部には、図6に示されるように、フィルタ部を備えたフィルタ57が、その内部を上下に移動可能に収納されている。前記フィルタ部はそのメッシュが重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の通過を阻止できるように選択される。
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, in the manufacturing tank 10 </ b> B, a
製造槽10Bを形成する材質は、前記製造槽10Aと同様に、金属材料を用いて作製されることができる。この金属材料としては、機械的強度及び防錆性等に優れたステンレスがよい。
The material for forming the
図5及び図6に示されるように、開口部11は前記製造槽10Aの開口部11と同様に形成されている。
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the
As shown in FIG. 5, a flow means 30 is further provided in the manufacturing tank 10 </ b> B. As shown in FIG. 5, the flow means 30 is a means for circulating the liquid by once taking out the liquid charged in the internal space of the
As shown in FIG. 5, the liquid take-out means 31 is provided in the
液供給手段32は、図5及び図6に示されるように、前記開口部38と、前記開口部38に接続された弁装置39例えば底栓弁と、前記弁装置39の先端に設けられた管継手手段36とを備えてなる。
As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the liquid supply means 32 is provided at the opening 38, a
The liquid transfer means 33 is a transfer path, for example, a pipe connecting the liquid take-out means 31 and the liquid supply means 32, one end of which is connected to the on-off valve 34 B of the liquid take-out means 31 and the other end is a pipe of the liquid supply means 32. A pipe joint means 36 that can be connected to the joint means 36 is provided and connected to the liquid supply means 32. A pump 33A is interposed in the middle of the liquid transfer means 33, and a valve device 35A such as a switching valve and a
As shown in FIG. 5, the rotating
The drying means 17 can employ various configurations as long as the ammonium heavy uranate particles existing in the internal space of the
原液滴下手段40、アンモニア水溶液供給手段50、洗浄液供給手段60及び排出手段70は、前記製造装置1と同様に構成されている。
The original droplet dropping means 40, the aqueous ammonia solution supplying means 50, the cleaning liquid supplying means 60 and the discharging means 70 are configured in the same manner as the
このように構成された製造装置2の作用について以下に説明する。なお、初期状態として、前記フィルタ57が前記支持部材21C内に収納され、前記製造槽10Bの内部空間内は空であり、液面調整手段13の開閉弁は閉鎖状態にされている。この状態では、前記フィルタ57は、前記弁装置39側に位置している。
The operation of the manufacturing apparatus 2 configured as described above will be described below. As an initial state, the filter 57 is accommodated in the
先ず、製造装置1と同様にして、アンモニア水溶液供給手段50により製造槽10Bの内部空間内に所定量のアンモニア水溶液が装填される。
First, in the same manner as in the
図6に示されるように、製造装置1と同様にして、弁体12と滴下ノズル41とを含み、隔絶部材44で囲繞された空間内がアンモニアガス雰囲気にされる。
As shown in FIG. 6, in the same manner as in the
On the other hand, the driving means 23 of the rotating
In this way, the space including the
The
Thus, the uranyl nitrate on the droplet surface is converted to ammonium deuterated uranate before the droplet of the stock solution dropped from the dropping
Further, when the
When a predetermined amount of the undiluted solution is dropped, that is, when the step of forming the ammonium heavy uranate particles is completed, the
さらに、このように、アンモニア水溶液中で形成された重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子が製造槽10Bから移送されることなく、引き続き熟成工程が行われるから、アンモニア水溶液中で形成された重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の良好な真球度を悪化させることがなく、真球度がより良好な重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子が形成される。
Furthermore, since the aging step is continuously performed without transferring the ammonium heavy uranate particles formed in the aqueous ammonia solution from the
熟成工程が終了すると、製造装置1と同様にして、重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の洗浄工程及び乾燥工程が行われる。
When the aging step is completed, the washing step and the drying step of the ammonium heavy uranate particles are performed in the same manner as in the
When the drying step is completed, the dried ammonium heavy uranate particles in the production tank 10 are taken out together with the filter 57 by removing the
以上、この発明の連続製造装置の一例について説明したが、この発明は前記一例に限定されるものではなく、この発明の範囲内にて適宜に設計変更をすることができる。 As mentioned above, although an example of the continuous manufacturing apparatus of this invention was demonstrated, this invention is not limited to the said example, A design change can be suitably carried out within the scope of this invention.
The rotating means 20 includes a
乾燥手段17は、製造装置1と同様に、前記加熱手段によって構成されている必要はなく、例えば、所定温度に加熱された気体を製造槽10B内に送風する熱風送気手段とされてもよい。
Similarly to the
この製造装置2においては、重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の形成工程、熟成工程、洗浄工程及び乾燥工程が単一の製造槽10Bで実行されるから、形成工程においてアンモニア水溶液中で形成された重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の良好な真球度を維持したまま、熟成工程、洗浄工程及び乾燥工程を行うことができ、したがって、真球度の良好な重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子を高い生産性を持って製造することができる。
In this manufacturing apparatus 2, since the formation process, the ripening process, the cleaning process, and the drying process of ammonium heavy uranate particles are executed in a
また、この製造装置2においては、重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の形成工程において、製造槽10Bが回転すると共に、アンモニア水溶液が循環されているから、液滴80が、アンモニア水溶液中を、回転軸と同心円状に回転流動すると共に上下に流動し、真球度がより一層良好な重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子が形成される。
Further, in this production apparatus 2, since the
さらに、この製造装置2においては、従来におけるように、重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子を熟成、洗浄及び乾燥するための乾燥槽が不要になるから、それだけ省スペース化を図ることができる。したがって、従来の製造装置の設置に要求されるスペースに、前記製造槽10Bを複数設置することができるから、設置面積に対する製造量を容易に増大させることができる。
Furthermore, in this manufacturing apparatus 2, since a drying tank for aging, washing and drying ammonium heavy uranate particles is not required as in the prior art, it is possible to save space. Accordingly, since a plurality of the

以上のようにして4基の処理層10C、10D、10E及び10Fを順繰りに稼動させることにより連続的に重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子形成工程、熟成工程、洗浄工程及び乾燥工程が行われる。この4基の製造槽10C、10D、10E及び10Fを駆動させることにより連続プロセスが実行されることになる。 By sequentially operating the four treatment layers 10C, 10D, 10E, and 10F as described above, an ammonium heavy uranate particle forming step, an aging step, a washing step, and a drying step are continuously performed. A continuous process is executed by driving the four manufacturing tanks 10C, 10D, 10E, and 10F.

例えば、4基の製造槽として、前記製造装置1の製造槽10Aの代わりに、前記製造装置2の製造槽10Bを採用することもできる。
For example, as the four manufacturing tanks, the
In this continuous production apparatus, the formation process, the ripening process, the washing process, and the drying process of ammonium biuranate particles are performed in a single production tank 10C, 10D, 10E, and 10F, respectively. The aging step, washing step and drying step can be carried out while maintaining the good sphericity of ammonium deuterated uranate particles formed in the above, and therefore high production of ammonium deuterated uranate particles with good sphericity can be achieved. Can be manufactured with sex.
また、この連続製造装置1においては、従来におけるように、重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子を熟成、洗浄及び乾燥するための乾燥槽が不要になるから、それだけ省スペース化を図ることができる。
Moreover, in this
この連続製造装置においては、重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の形成、熟成、洗浄及び乾燥を行うことのできる単一の製造装置を複数基備えることにより、回分操作に適した製造装置でありながら重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の実質的な連続生産ができる。つまり、この発明によると、連続生産可能で生産効率の高い重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の連続製造装置を提供することができる。 In this continuous production apparatus, by providing a plurality of single production apparatuses capable of forming, ripening, washing and drying ammonium heavy uranate particles, it is possible to produce heavy uranic acid while being suitable for batch operations. Substantially continuous production of ammonium particles is possible. That is, according to this invention, it is possible to provide a continuous production apparatus for ammonium heavy uranate particles that can be continuously produced and has high production efficiency.
なお、重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の真球度は、下記式によって表すことができる。 In addition, the sphericity of the ammonium heavy uranate particles can be expressed by the following formula.
真球度=A/4πB2
A:重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の投影面積
B:重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の投影像の周囲の長さ
Sphericality = A / 4πB 2
A: Projected area of ammonium heavy uranate particles B: Perimeter length of projected image of ammonium heavy uranate particles
重ウラン酸アンモニウム粒子の真球度は、粒子周囲の形状の単純さないし複雑さを表す形状指数であり、粒子周囲の形状が滑らかで円に近いほど、1.00に近づく。したがって、真球度が1に近づくにつれて、その粒子の真球度は良好になることを示す。 The sphericity of ammonium deuterated uranate particles is a shape index representing the simplicity or complexity of the shape around the particle, and the closer the shape around the particle is to a circle, the closer it is to 1.00. Therefore, it shows that the sphericity of the particle becomes better as the sphericity approaches 1.
