Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a power supply device that converts AC power into DC power.
Some air conditioners (air conditioners) that perform air conditioning with a refrigeration cycle change the operating frequency of the compressor when adjusting the air conditioning capacity. That is, in an air conditioner, the cooling / heating capacity is lowered by lowering the operating frequency of the compressor, and the cooling / heating capacity is raised by raising the operating frequency of the compressor. In such an air conditioner, the rotation speed of a motor that drives the compressor is controlled by inverter control.
インバータ制御を行なう電源装置には、PWM制御を行なうものに加えてPAM(Pulse Amplitude Modulation:パルス振幅変調)制御を行なうものがある。
Among power supply apparatuses that perform inverter control, there are those that perform PAM (Pulse Amplitude Modulation) control in addition to those that perform PWM control. In PAM control, an AC voltage is converted to a DC voltage by a rectifier circuit, and then converted to a desired voltage by a booster circuit. A chopper circuit is generally used as the booster circuit.
The booster circuit (chopper circuit) includes a reactor element, a switching element, a diode, and a capacitor, and charges the capacitor by turning on the switching element and turning off the switching element with the energy stored in the reactor element. Thereby, a voltage according to the input voltage and the energy stored in the reactor element is generated in the capacitor.
In such a booster circuit, by controlling the on-time ratio (duty ratio) of the switching element, it is possible to control the waveform and current value of the AC input current that is input to the rectifier circuit in the previous stage. It is possible to improve the power factor and reduce the harmonic current together with the control of.
However, a rectifier circuit using an active filter has a problem that main circuit loss increases. Further, for example, it is necessary to use an expensive material for the reactor element.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described facts, and an object of the present invention is to propose a power supply device capable of improving the power factor and reducing the harmonic current to make the power factor highly efficient. It is another object of the present invention to propose a power supply apparatus that enables output voltage control as well as power factor improvement and harmonic suppression.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a power supply device that converts input AC power into DC power and supplies the power to a load, and includes a rectifier circuit that rectifies the AC power, and an output from the rectifier. A smoothing circuit that smoothes and outputs DC power, a switching element that is connected between the output terminals of the rectifier circuit and that is opened and closed based on on / off of a switching signal that is input, and is input to the rectifier circuit Input power detection means for detecting an input voltage or input power, output power detection means for detecting an output voltage of at least the smoothing circuit, and a duty ratio based on a detection result of the input power detection means or the output power detection means Control means for turning on / off the switching element.
According to the present invention, the duty ratio of the switching signal for driving the switching element is controlled by the input current or the output voltage. For example, the input current can be increased by increasing the duty ratio of the switching signal. Further, since the output voltage also changes depending on on / off of the switching element, the output voltage can be controlled by the duty ratio of the switching signal.
In the present invention, the control unit turns on / off the switching element based on a zero cross point at which the input voltage value detected by the input power detection unit reverses from positive to negative or from negative to positive. It is characterized by.
According to the present invention, the timing of the switching signal is synchronized with the zero cross point of the input voltage. As a result, the waveform of the input current can be adjusted together with the phase of the input power, and harmonics can be suppressed.
In the present invention, the control means performs switching before reaching the first switching period and the next zero-crossing point in which the switching element is turned on / off within a half cycle after detecting the zero-crossing of the input voltage or input power. It is preferable to set a second switching period during which the element is turned on / off to turn the switching element on / off.
In the present invention, it is preferable to set the duty ratio of the first and second switching periods based on the input current detected by the input power detection means.
According to the present invention, during the half cycle of the power supply frequency, not only the first switching period in which switching starts at the zero cross point of the input voltage but also the second switching that performs switching when the input voltage approaches the zero cross point. There is a period.
As a result, when the phase of the input current is matched with the phase of the input voltage, the waveform of the power current when the phase of the input power is switched can be made smooth, and efficient harmonic suppression can be achieved.
In the first and second switching periods, switching is performed in the low voltage region near the zero cross point of the input voltage. For example, the current flowing through the reactor does not increase, and the current flowing through the reactor Loss due to an increase due to on / off can be prevented.
Furthermore, in the present invention, it is preferable to set a third switching period in which the switching element is turned on / off continuously after the first switching period.
In the present invention, it is preferable that a duty ratio for turning on / off the switching element in the third switching period is set based on an output voltage detected by the output power detection means.
According to the present invention as described above, the second switching period in which the switching element is switched at the duty ratio corresponding to the output voltage is provided in the first switching period.
The second switching period is a section where the input voltage is relatively high on the waveform of the input voltage, and the output voltage is efficiently increased by turning on / off the switching element in the second switching period. Can be made. Further, by setting the duty ratio of the second switching period according to the output voltage, it is possible to efficiently boost the output voltage to a desired voltage or control the output voltage to be constant.
Further, the present invention is characterized in that the switching element is turned on / off by a signal having a frequency outside the audible range.
According to the present invention, the switching element is switched at a frequency outside the audible range.
In general, since the current flowing through the reactor changes depending on on / off of the switching element, electromagnetic noise is likely to be generated. By setting the period for switching the switching element to a high frequency outside the audible frequency, noise can be substantially reduced.
As described above, according to the present invention, by setting the duty ratio when turning on / off the switching element based on the input voltage or the input power, it is possible to improve the power factor and shape the waveform of the input current. As a result, it is possible to obtain an excellent effect that power factor can be improved and harmonics can be suppressed. In addition, according to the present invention, by setting the duty ratio based on the output voltage, it is possible to boost the output voltage and control the output voltage while improving the power factor.
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 2 shows a refrigeration cycle of an air conditioner (hereinafter referred to as “

Furthermore, the

As shown in FIG. 1, the

The
The
In recent years, a DC brushless motor is used as the
すなわち、マイコン44は、PAM(Pulse Amplitude Modulation :パルス振幅変調)制御によってもコンプレッサモータ40の回転数の制御が可能となっている。

Incidentally, a switching
The switching Tr 78 is connected to the microcomputer 44 via the
On the other hand, the power supply
As shown in FIG. 3, the microcomputer 44 outputs the switching signal ST every 1/2 cycle of the frequency f 1 in synchronization with the phase of the frequency f 1 of the
That is, the microcomputer 44 outputs time α, β, γ for outputting any of the switching signals ST 1 , ST 2 , ST 3 and time δ for stopping the switching signal ST within a half cycle of the frequency f 1 . It is set to divide into 5 by ε.
The switching signal ST 1 is output during the time α from the zero cross point P (phase angle θ = 0), and the switching signal ST 3 is during the time γ that stops immediately before the next zero cross point (θ = 180 °). To output. As a result, a time ε during which the switching signal ST stops slightly is provided between the switching signal ST 3 and the next switching signal ST 1 .
The switching signal ST 2 is output during the time β following the switching signal ST 1 , and the switching Tr 78 sandwiches the power supply voltage peak between the switching signal ST 2 and the switching signal ST 3. The time δ for stopping the switching is provided.
Thus, after the microcomputer 44 outputs the switching signals ST 1 and ST 2 from the zero cross point P, the microcomputer 44 temporarily stops outputting the switching signal ST and then outputs the switching signal ST 3 . Note that the times α to ε within a half cycle of the frequency f 1 may be set arbitrarily, but are set in advance as an example below.
When the time α of the switching signal ST 1 is converted into the phase angle θ of the voltage waveform, the phase angle θ is between 0 ° to 35 ° (180 ° to 215 °), and the time β of the switching signal ST 2 is The phase angle θ is between 35 ° and 70 ° (215 ° to 250 °). Further, the time γ of the switching signal ST 3 is set so that the phase angle θ is in the vicinity of 150 ° to 180 ° (near 330 ° to 0 °), and before the phase angle θ of the voltage waveform reaches 180 ° (for example, θ = 175). °) to stop.
The microcomputer 44 outputs a switching signal ST (ST 1 , ST 2 , ST 3 ) having a predetermined duty ratio with a frequency f outside the audible region of at least 15 kHz as a cycle. In the present embodiment, as an example, the frequency f is 17 kHz.
Further, the duty ratio of the switching signal ST 1 and the switching signal ST 3 is based on 30%, and the duty ratio of the switching signal ST 2 is based on 60%.
The microcomputer 44 is connected to an output
In the
That is, the microcomputer 44, and outputs a switching signal ST 2 when boosting the output voltage Vo. The microcomputer 44 changes the duty ratio of the switching signals ST 1 and ST 3 based on the input current I i detected by the power source

By the way, the microcomputer 44 provided in the
In the first embodiment, the power factor improvement by the switching signals ST 1 and ST 3 will be described with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5. FIG. 4 and 5 show simulation results in which the frequency f 1 of the
Microcomputer 44 for controlling the
In the
As a result, as shown in FIG. 4, when the input current Ii begins to flow from the zero crossing point P of the voltage waveform and the phase of the input current Ii is delayed with respect to the phase of the input voltage Vi, the phase of the input current Ii is The process proceeds to match the phase of the input voltage Vi.
On the other hand, the microcomputer 44 starts outputting the switching signal ST 3 when the voltage waveform approaches the next zero cross point P (zero cross point P 1 in FIG. 3). The switching signal ST 3 is output when the phase angle θ of the voltage waveform reaches 150 °, and is stopped when the phase angle θ reaches the vicinity of 180 ° (for example, θ = 175 °) which is the next zero cross point P 1. . Thereafter, when the phase angle θ reaches the next zero cross point P 1 (phase angle θ = 180 °), the output of the switching signal ST 1 is newly started.
As shown in FIG. 4, the input current Ii decreases immediately before the phase of the voltage waveform of the input voltage Vi switches, and then increases as the phase of the voltage waveform switches. Thus, by using the switching signal ST 3 in addition to the switching signal ST 1 , the phase of the input current I i can be smoothly changed in accordance with the phase of the input voltage Vi.
Particularly in the double voltage rectifier with 100V power, the polarity also changes when the phase of the input current Ii varies, the I only the switching signals ST 1, is the current value by the switching signal ST 1 at the zero-cross point P is greatly changed For this reason, harmonic components are generated in the input current Ii.
On the other hand, since the current value can be reduced in the vicinity of the zero cross point P in advance by the switching signal ST 3 , the current waveform in the vicinity of the zero cross point P can be smoothed, and the harmonics of the input current I i can be obtained. Wave components can be reduced.
As shown in FIG. 5, in the
Thus, in the
Further, since the switching signals ST 1 and ST 3 increase the input current Ii when the input current Ii is small, the current (input current Ii) flowing through the
Thereby, in order to prevent the noise of the
On the other hand, the duty ratios of the switching signals ST 1 and ST 3 are preferably changed according to the magnitude of the load, that is, the current value (or input power) of the input current Ii.
That is, when the duty ratio of the switching signals ST 1 and ST 3 is high, the change in the input current Ii also increases. For this reason, when the load is small and the current value is small, the input current Ii is changed more than necessary by the switching signals ST 1 and ST 3 , which may increase the harmonic component.
For this reason, by adjusting the duty ratios of the switching signals ST 1 and ST 3 according to the current value or input power of the load or input current, it is possible to suppress harmonics more appropriately for both power factor improvement. Note that the times α and γ of the switching signals ST1 and ST2 may be changed based on the current value or input power of the input current Ii, and more preferably.
[Second Embodiment]
A second example according to the present embodiment will be described below with reference to FIGS.
In the second embodiment, the microcomputer 44 outputs the switching signal ST 2 at time β following the switching signal ST 1 as the switching signal ST. In the
The duty ratio of the switching signal ST 2, for example, the output voltage Vo is referenced to 60% so that 280 V. The microcomputer 44 uses the output voltage Vo at this time as the reference voltage Vs, and changes the duty ratio so that the output voltage Vo becomes the reference voltage Vs.
When the microcomputer 44 detects the zero-cross point P, it outputs the switching signal ST 1 with a predetermined duty ratio, and subsequently outputs the switching signal ST 2 . At this time, the microcomputer 44 compares the output voltage Vo and the reference voltage Vs detected by the output
As a result, when the output voltage Vo is lower than the reference voltage Vs, the output voltage Vo increases, and when the output voltage Vo is higher than the reference voltage Vs, the output voltage Vo is lowered and the output voltage Vo becomes substantially constant, so that the inverter circuit. 52. Moreover, since it is possible to vary the output voltage Vo by the switching signal ST 2, it is possible to PAM control of the
Further, the microcomputer 44 sets the duty ratio of the switching signal ST2 to “0” when the output voltage Vo reaches a preset upper limit value. As a result, the switching signal ST2 is stopped, and the boosting of the output voltage Vo in the
Thereby, for example, if the upper limit value of the output voltage Vo is set based on the breakdown voltage of the switching elements provided in the
On the other hand, it outputs a switching signal ST 2 subsequent to the switching signal ST 1, by turning on / off the switching Tr78, the input current Ii is also increased in accordance with on / off of the switching signal ST 2.
Thus, as shown in FIG. 6, it is possible to prevent a drop of the input current Ii immediately after stopping the switching signals ST 1, it is possible to waveform shaping of input current Ii.
The waveform of the input current Ii collapses as the harmonic component increases. On the other hand, the harmonic component is removed by shaping and smoothing the waveform of the input current Ii. That is, in the
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 7, by switching the switching Tr 78 with the switching signal ST 2 , the voltages V 1 and V 2 applied to the
Therefore, by changing the duty ratio of the switching signal ST 2 based on the reference voltage Vs and the output voltage Vo, the output voltage Vo can be controlled so that the reference voltage Vs. Further, for example, or changing the reference voltage Vs in accordance with the rotational speed of the
In the first and second embodiments, the switching signals ST 1 , ST 2 , and ST 3 that are output twice in one cycle of the frequency f 1 have been described with the same duty ratio. The duty ratio may be changed in the next half cycle. As a result, the waveform of the input current Ii can be further improved, and the
That is, when performing double voltage double wave rectification, it is preferable to use
At this time, for example, by changing the duty ratio of the switching signals ST1 and ST3 or changing the duty ratio of the switching signal ST2, the accumulated power can be made the same even if there is a difference in capacitance between the

9 to 11 show simulation results using the
When the microcomputer 44 detects the zero-cross point P of the input voltage Vi, it starts outputting the switching signal ST 1 and outputs the switching signal ST 2 following the switching signal ST 1 . The microcomputer 44, when stopping the switching signal ST 2, and outputs a switching signal ST 3 after the lapse of time [delta].
As a result, the switching Tr 78 is repeatedly switched by the switching signal ST 3 after being switched by the switching signals ST 1 and ST 2 .
As a result, as shown in FIG. 9, the waveform of the input current Ii changes according to the switching signals ST 1 , ST 2 , ST 3 , as shown in FIGS. 10 (A) and 10 (B). , The phase of the input current Ii is matched to the phase of the input voltage Vi and is shaped into a waveform close to a sine wave.
That is, in the

On the other hand, not only the harmonic current values of the third harmonic f 3 , the seventh harmonic f 7 and the ninth harmonic f 9 generated by the
In general, it is difficult to clear the harmonic current generation limit value in an electric device using 200V electric power, and a complicated mechanism is used to clear the harmonic current generation limit value. Now, with a simple configuration that switches the switching Tr 78 with the switching signals ST 1 , ST 2 , ST 3 based on the zero crossing point of the input voltage Vi, the harmonic current generation limit value of the electric equipment using 200 V is surely cleared. Have been able to.
