Abstract

Description
「層」という用語は、隣接層の組成と異なる組成を一般に有する1つのコーティングを示す;
「部分」という用語は、1つの層、複数の層(例えば、2層、3層またはこれを超える層数)を表す;
発光ゾーンと言われる場合に使用される「ゾーン」という用語は、1つの層、複数の層、1つの層における1つの機能領域、1つの層における複数の機能領域、あるいは1つまたは複数の部分を表わす;
一般に、2つの電極の間にあるか、またはディスプレイ・デバイスを作動させるのに必要とされる電荷伝導過程に関与する、ディスプレイ・デバイスの部分および層の全ては、カソード、ルミネセンス・ゾーン、またはアノードのどれかの一部であると考えられている。
「発光ゾーン」、および「ルミネセンス・ゾーン」は互換性をもって使用されている。
Claims (12)
- アノード、
カソード、ならびに、
前記アノードとカソードとの間に、
3重項/3重項・相互作用、
3重項/1重項・相互作用、および
1重項/1重項・相互作用
の少なくとも1つを減らす材料を有する発光ゾーン
を備える有機エレクトロルミネセンス・デバイス。 - 前記材料が3重項消光材料である請求項1に記載のエレクトロルミネセンス・デバイス。
- 前記材料が強いスピン軌道カップリング特性を有する請求項1に記載のエレクトロルミネセンス・デバイス。
- 前記材料が第2の3重項状態および第2の1重項状態の少なくとも1つに強い吸収特性を有する請求項1に記載のエレクトロルミネセンス・デバイス。
- 前記材料が発光分子の間の分子間距離を増大させる請求項1に記載のエレクトロルミネセンス・デバイス。
- 前記材料が、
3重項消光特性、
強いスピン軌道特性、
第2の3重項状態および第2の1重項状態の強い吸収特性
の少なくとも1つを含み、また発光分子の間の分子間距離を増大させる、請求項1に記載のエレクトロルミネセンス・デバイス。 - 前記発光部分における電子と正孔の再結合が磁場内で起こるように配置構成されている請求項6に記載のエレクトロルミネセンス・デバイス。
- 材料が9−メチルアントラセンを含む請求項2に記載のエレクトロルミネセンス・デバイス。
- 材料がトリエチルアミンを含む請求項2に記載のエレクトロルミネセンス・デバイス。
- 材料が有機金属化合物を含む請求項3に記載のエレクトロルミネセンス・デバイス。
- アノード、

前記アノードとカソードとの間の発光ゾーン
