Abstract
【解決手段】排気合流部7の上流側の二つの排気通路の一方6aには第一副触媒装置9aが配置され、二つの排気通路の他方6bには第二副触媒装置9bが配置され、第二副触媒装置の触媒担持量は、第一副触媒装置の触媒担持量より少なくされ、機関始動時には、一方の排気通路に対応する気筒群1aだけを運転する。

Claims (6)
- 多気筒内燃機関の全気筒を二つの気筒群に分けて、それぞれの排気マニホルドから排気合流部までは気筒郡毎に排気通路が設けられ、前記排気合流部の下流側には主触媒装置が配置された内燃機関の排気浄化装置において、前記排気合流部の上流側の二つの前記排気通路の一方には第一副触媒装置が配置され、二つの前記排気通路の他方には第二副触媒装置が配置され、前記第二副触媒装置の触媒担持量は、前記第一副触媒装置の触媒担持量より少なくされ、機関始動時には、前記一方の排気通路に対応する気筒群だけを運転することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 多気筒内燃機関の全気筒を二つの気筒群に分けて、それぞれの排気マニホルドから排気合流部までは気筒郡毎に排気通路が設けられ、前記排気合流部の下流側には主触媒装置が配置された内燃機関の排気浄化装置において、前記排気合流部の上流側の二つの前記排気通路の一方には第一副触媒装置が配置され、二つの前記排気通路の他方には第二副触媒装置が配置され、前記第一副触媒装置の熱容量は、前記第二副触媒装置の熱容量より小さくされ、機関始動時には、前記一方の排気通路に対応する気筒群だけを運転することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 多気筒内燃機関の全気筒を二つの気筒群に分けて、それぞれの排気マニホルドから排気合流部までは気筒郡毎に排気通路が設けられ、前記排気合流部の下流側には主触媒装置が配置された内燃機関の排気浄化装置において、前記排気合流部の上流側の二つの前記排気通路の一方には第一副触媒装置が配置され、二つの前記排気通路の他方には第二副触媒装置が配置され、前記第一副触媒装置の触媒は、前記第二副触媒装置の触媒より低温活性とされ、機関始動時には、前記一方の排気通路に対応する気筒群だけを運転することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 多気筒内燃機関の全気筒を二つの気筒群に分けて、それぞれの排気マニホルドから排気合流部までは気筒郡毎に排気通路が設けられ、前記排気合流部の下流側には主触媒装置が配置された内燃機関の排気浄化装置において、前記排気合流部の上流側の二つの前記排気通路の一方には第一副触媒装置が配置され、二つの前記排気通路の他方には第二副触媒装置が配置され、対応する排気マニホルドから前記第一副触媒装置までの排気経路長は、対応する排気マニホルドから前記第二副触媒装置までの排気経路長より短くされ、機関始動時には、前記一方の排気通路に対応する気筒群だけを運転することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 前記第二副触媒装置は、前記排気合流部の直上流側において前記他方の排気通路に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
- 多気筒内燃機関の全気筒を二つの気筒群に分けて、それぞれの排気マニホルドから排気合流部までは気筒郡毎に排気通路が設けられ、前記排気合流部の下流側には主触媒装置が配置された内燃機関の排気浄化装置において、前記排気合流部の上流側の二つの前記排気通路の一方には第一副触媒装置が配置され、前記排気合流部の直下流側には第二副触媒装置が配置され、機関始動時には、前記一方の排気通路に対応する気筒群だけを運転することを特徴とする内燃機関の排気浄化装置。
