Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a grease composition sealed in a rolling bearing of an excavator and a rolling bearing for excavator formed by sealing the grease composition.
Excavators used for excavation of tunnels, etc. are excavated by pressing the cutter head placed on the entire surface of the excavator against the earth and sand surface and swirling while spraying water onto the earth and sand surface to suppress the scattering of earth and sand. . For this reason, the excavator is exposed to excavated earth and sand and muddy water during the operation, and in rolling bearings incorporated in the drive motor, water is often mixed with the encapsulated grease, thereby causing poor lubrication.
(P.Schtzberg、I.M.Felsen:Effects of water and oxygen during rolling contact lubrication、Wear 12、pp.331-342、1968)。 Regarding the influence of moisture on such grease, for example, Furumura et al., When 6% moisture is mixed in lubricating oil (# 180 turbine oil), the rolling fatigue life is reduced to a fraction of 20 to 20% compared to the case where it is not mixed. It has been reported that it is reduced to a fraction (Junsaburo Furumura, Shinichi Shirota, Kiyoshi Hirakawa: NSK Bearing Journal, No.636, pp.1-10, 1977) . Schatzberg et al. Also reported that the rolling strength of steel decreased by 32 to 48% with only 100 ppm of water in the lubricating oil (P. Schtzberg, IMFelsen: Effects of water and oxygen during rolling contact lubrication, Wear 12, pp.331-342, 1968).
Such a decrease in life is considered that hydrogen generated from mixed water acts on the bearing material and causes metal peeling called white tissue peeling. In order to prevent such peeling, grease added with a passive oxidizing agent such as sodium nitrite (for example, see Patent Document 1), grease added with an organic antimony compound or an organic molybdenum compound (for example, see Patent Document 2), Improvement of grease has been performed, such as grease added with an inorganic compound having a particle size of 2 μm or less (see, for example, Patent Document 3). These prevent the hydrogen from entering the bearing material by forming a film derived from the additive at the rolling contact portion, but rolling of the rolling element occurs due to vibration or speed change until the film is formed. Then, metal peeling may occur at the rolling contact portion.
As measures other than the improvement of grease, use of stainless steel as a bearing material (for example, refer to Patent Document 4), making a rolling element made of ceramics (for example, refer to Patent Document 5), etc. have been proposed. Bearings made of these materials are generally expensive.
In addition, iron such as bearing steel has a problem that corrosion (rust) is easily caused by water and abnormal noise is generated from the bearing. In bearings where water can be mixed, it is very important to have corrosion resistance, and corrosion resistance is simultaneously imparted by the same method as described above, but it has the effect of suppressing the occurrence of rust. Not enough.
The present invention has been made in view of such a situation, and even when water is mixed, the grease for excavator capable of suppressing the occurrence of white tissue peeling and corrosion and maintaining good lubrication for a long time. In order to suppress the occurrence of white tissue peeling, it becomes more effective if it becomes easier to form an oxide film at the rolling contact portion in addition to the action of the rust preventive additive.
As shown in FIG. 2, a small-diameter bearing seal device M <b> 1 is provided between the
The
In the excavator configured as described above, since muddy water is applied during work, the muddy water is likely to enter the
EXAMPLES Hereinafter, although an Example and a comparative example are given and this invention is further demonstrated, this invention is not restrict | limited at all by this.
(Examples 1-4, Comparative Examples 1-2)
Test greases were prepared with the formulations shown in Table 1. In any of the test greases, a phenolic antioxidant (2,6-di-t-butylcresol (manufactured by Tokyo Chemical Industry Co., Ltd.)), an amine antioxidant (p, p'-dioctyldiphenylamine (Tokyo Kasei) Co., Ltd.), a rust inhibitor (calcium sulfonate (“NasulR1-CA” manufactured by King)) and an extreme pressure agent (ashless sulfur type; “Vanrube 7723” manufactured by Vanderbilt) were added in an amount of 0.5% by mass. The prepared test grease is enclosed in a tapered roller bearing “HR30205 (inner diameter 25 mm, outer diameter 52 mm, width 16.25 mm)” manufactured by NSK Ltd., and a test bearing is manufactured. After injecting so as to be 1% by mass with respect to the total amount of the enclosed grease, 120 ° C., radial load 98N, axial load 1470N, rotation speed 3500 pm at was 100 hours of continuous rotation. The test bearing was degraded after rotating to observe the presence or absence of occurrence of rust and peeling visually. The results are shown in Table 1.
As shown in Table 1, according to the present invention, at least one selected from a carboxylic acid-based rust preventive additive, a carboxylate-based rust preventive additive and an ester-based rust preventive additive is 0.1 to 20% by mass of the total amount of grease. It can be seen that by encapsulating the grease composition of each example contained in the ratio, the anti-rust performance and anti-peeling effect are extremely good and a long-life rolling bearing is obtained.
