Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a multilayer electronic component, and more particularly to a small multilayer filter having a high noise removal capability used in electronic equipment and the like.
Conventionally, various types of multilayer electronic components have been proposed. For example, a multilayer LC composite component that is a T-type filter includes a multilayer structure having a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape, two input / output terminals, and two ground terminals. The laminated structure has a pair of first and second side surfaces facing each other in the short direction. Each input / output terminal is provided at an end portion in the longitudinal direction of the laminated structure, and each ground terminal is provided on each of the first side surface and the second side surface.
The multilayer structure includes a capacitor part C, a connection part S, and a coil part L. The capacitor unit C includes a plurality of dielectric green sheets, a plurality of ground electrodes, a plurality of hot electrodes, and a plurality of extraction electrodes. One end of each extraction electrode is connected to the ground electrode, and the other end is connected to the ground terminal. Each hot electrode has a pair of first edge portions facing the first side surface and the second side surface, and a pair of second edge portions facing each input / output terminal. Each first edge has a straight line shape that is uniformly spaced from the first side surface and the second side surface at equal distances, and each second edge portion is uniformly equal to each input / output terminal. It forms a straight line separated by a distance.
Similarly to the hot electrode, each ground electrode also has a pair of third edges facing the first side surface and the second side surface, and a pair of fourth edges facing each input / output terminal. Each third edge has a straight line shape that is uniformly spaced from the first side surface and the second side surface at equal distances, and each fourth edge portion is equally to each input / output terminal. It forms a straight line separated by a distance. The first edge of the hot electrode is further away from the first side and the second side than the third edge of the ground electrode, and the fourth edge of the ground electrode is input / output from the second edge of the hot electrode. It is away from the terminal (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
In the above-described multilayer LC composite component, the distance between the first edge of the hot electrode and the first side surface and the second side surface is determined between the third edge of the ground electrode and the first side surface and the second side surface. When the gap between the hot electrode and the ground terminal is very small with the distance being equal, migration may occur and insulation deterioration may occur. In particular, when there are minute pores (pores) at the laminated interface of the dielectric green sheets, moisture penetrates into the pores, resulting in deterioration of insulation due to migration, leading to the worst short circuit.
In order to prevent this, if the first edge of the hot electrode is further away from the first and second sides than the third edge of the ground electrode, as in the above-described multilayer LC composite component, the insulation deterioration is prevented. Is effective, but a problem arises that a desired capacitance value cannot be obtained. In particular, when the multilayer LC composite component is downsized, the hot electrode and the ground electrode become very small, and a desired capacitance value cannot be obtained. Further, when the second edge portion of the hot electrode is brought closer to the input / output terminal than the fourth edge portion of the ground electrode, the crosstalk is deteriorated and the frequency characteristic is deteriorated on the high frequency side.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a multilayer electronic component that prevents insulation deterioration and short-circuit due to migration, and that can provide a sufficient margin in designing a capacitance value.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a multilayer electronic component including a first insulator body, a first internal electrode and a second internal electrode, a lead electrode, and an external electrode. The first insulator element is a laminate composed of a plurality of insulator layers and has at least one side surface. The first internal electrode and the second internal electrode are alternately arranged between adjacent insulator layers, and are arranged so as to be separated from the edge of each insulator layer and fit within the area of each insulator layer. . One end of the extraction electrode is connected to an edge portion on one side surface of the first internal electrode, and the other end is extracted to one side surface of the multilayer body. The external electrode extends along the stacking direction of the insulator layers on one side surface and is electrically connected to the extraction electrode. And the edge part of the 1st side of the 2nd internal electrode, and the part which opposes an external electrode at least forms the recessed part shape so that it may space apart from an external electrode.
According to this configuration, it is possible to prevent insulation deterioration and short circuit due to migration between the second internal electrode and the external electrode, and to prevent deterioration of the electrical characteristics of the element. Furthermore, when the multilayer electronic component is a multilayer LC composite component, a desired capacitance value can be obtained, and deterioration of frequency characteristics on the high frequency side due to deterioration of crosstalk can be prevented.
Here, the multilayer electronic component is a multilayer body composed of a plurality of insulator layers, and has a side surface that is coplanar with the side surface, and a second insulator body that is stacked on the first insulator body. And a coil conductor that is disposed between adjacent insulator layers of the second insulator element body and is spaced from the edge of each insulator layer and fits within the area of each insulator layer. The external electrode extends along the lamination direction of the insulator layer also on one side surface of the second insulator element body, and the edge portion on the one side surface side of the coil conductor is at least a portion facing the external electrode. A detour shape is formed so as to be separated from the electrode. According to this configuration, it is possible to prevent insulation deterioration and short circuit due to migration between the coil conductor and the external electrode, and to improve the design margin of the capacitance value.
Further, a capacitor or varistor is formed by the first internal electrode, the second internal electrode, and the insulator layer of the first insulator element body, and a coil portion is formed by the coil conductor and the insulator layer of the second insulator element body. Is preferred. According to such a configuration, a laminated LC composite component or a laminated LV composite component can be provided, and a desired capacitance value can be easily obtained.
Moreover, it is preferable that the insulator layer of the first insulator element is made of a dielectric, and the insulator layer of the second insulator element is made of a magnetic substance. When the insulator layer of the first insulator element is non-dielectric and the insulator layer of the second insulator element is non-magnetic, the noise removal frequency band is 400 (MHz) to 2.6 (GHz). ), The insulating layer of the first insulator element is a dielectric, and the insulator layer of the second insulator element is a magnetic substance. It is possible to provide a multilayer electronic component corresponding to noise removal in a low frequency band of (GHz).
According to the multilayer electronic component of the present invention, it is possible to prevent insulation deterioration and short-circuit due to migration and improve the design margin of capacitance value.

Further, since only the concave portion is formed in the

Next, a second embodiment in which the multilayer electronic component of the present invention is applied to a multilayer LC composite component will be described with reference to FIGS. 1, 3, and 5 to 7. FIG. In the second embodiment, the same members as those shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a laminated LC
FIG. 5 is an exploded perspective view of the

The coil portion L includes a
The
The

And as shown in FIG. 6, the gap G2 between the deepest part of the detour shape contour of the 2-1
As shown in FIG. 5, the
Further, the
The
The
The laminated LC
Next, the results of the effectiveness test (insulation resistance load life test) against the insulation deterioration of the laminated LC
The accelerated test conditions of the humidity resistance load life test are as follows: one input / output terminal of the laminated LC
