Abstract
【解決手段】ガンマ基準電圧発生回路において,相異なる電圧レベルを有する2個の電源電圧VCC,GNDの間に直列に接続される複数の抵抗によって,分圧されたガンマ基準電圧Vref1〜Vref(N−1)を出力する抵抗アレイR1〜RNと,隣接する抵抗間の共通ノード,及び,2個の電源電圧VCC,GNDの何れか一方の電源電圧の間に,各々接続される複数の第1キャパシタCn1〜Cn(N−1)と,抵抗に各々並列に接続される複数の第2キャパシタ Cm1〜Cm(N)と,を備える。

Description
ガンマ基準電圧発生回路は,相異なる電圧レベルを有する2個の電源電圧の間に直列に接続される複数の抵抗によって,分圧されたガンマ基準電圧を出力する抵抗アレイと,隣接する抵抗間の共通ノード,及び,2個の電源電圧の何れか一方の電源電圧の間に,各々接続される複数の第1キャパシタと,抵抗に各々並列に接続される複数の第2キャパシタと,を備えることを特徴とする,平板表示装置が提供される。

Claims (20)
- 表示パネルを駆動するデータ信号にガンマ補正を加えるためのガンマ基準電圧発生回路において;
相異なる電圧レベルを有する2個の電源電圧の間に直列に接続される複数の抵抗によって,分圧されたガンマ基準電圧を出力する抵抗アレイと,
隣接する前記抵抗間の共通ノード,及び,前記2個の電源電圧の何れか一方の電源電圧の間に,各々接続される複数の第1キャパシタと,
前記抵抗に各々並列に接続される複数の第2キャパシタと,
を備えることを特徴とする,ガンマ基準電圧発生回路。 - 前記第1キャパシタは,隣接する前記抵抗間の共通ノード,及び,前記2個の電源電圧の低準位の電源電圧の間に,各々接続されることを特徴とする,請求項1に記載のガンマ基準電圧発生回路。
- 複数の前記抵抗は,同じ抵抗値を有することを特徴とする,請求項2に記載のガンマ基準電圧発生回路。
- 複数の前記第1キャパシタは,同じキャパシタンス値を有することを特徴とする,請求項2または3に記載のガンマ基準電圧発生回路。
- 複数の前記第2キャパシタは,同じキャパシタンス値を有することを特徴とする,請求項2〜4のいずれかに記載のガンマ基準電圧発生回路。
- 前記第2キャパシタのキャパシタンス値は,前記第1キャパシタのキャパシタンス値より大きいことを特徴とする,請求項2〜5のいずれかに記載のガンマ基準電圧発生回路。
- 前記第2キャパシタは,極性キャパシタからなることを特徴とする,請求項2〜6のいずれかに記載のガンマ基準電圧発生回路。
- 複数のピクセルと,
各々の前記ピクセルが有するピクセル回路と,
前記ピクセル回路に伝えられるデータ信号に対応して階調を具現する表示パネルと,
前記表示パネルを駆動するデータ信号にガンマ補正を加えるために,ガンマ基準電圧を生成するガンマ基準電圧発生回路と,
前記ガンマ基準電圧及び階調データが入力されて,パネルを駆動するためのデータ信号を出力するデータドライバと,
を備え,
前記ガンマ基準電圧発生回路は,
相異なる電圧レベルを有する2個の電源電圧の間に直列に接続される複数の抵抗によって,分圧されたガンマ基準電圧を出力する抵抗アレイと,
隣接する前記抵抗間の共通ノード,及び,前記2個の電源電圧の何れか一方の電源電圧の間に,各々接続される複数の第1キャパシタと,
前記抵抗に各々並列に接続される複数の第2キャパシタと,
を備えることを特徴とする,平板表示装置。 - 前記第1キャパシタは,隣接する前記抵抗間の共通ノード,及び,前記2個の電源電圧の低準位の電源電圧の間に,各々接続されることを特徴とする,請求項8に記載の平板表示装置。
- 複数の前記抵抗は,同じ抵抗値を有することを特徴とする,請求項9に記載の平板表示装置。
- 複数の前記第1キャパシタは,同じキャパシタンス値を有することを特徴とする,請求項9または10に記載の平板表示装置。
- 複数の前記第2キャパシタは,同じキャパシタンス値を有することを特徴とする,請求項9〜11のいずれかに記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記第2キャパシタのキャパシタンス値は,前記第1キャパシタのキャパシタンス値より大きいことを特徴とする,請求項9〜12のいずれかに記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記第2キャパシタは,極性キャパシタからなることを特徴とする,請求項9〜13のいずれかに記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記データドライバは,デジタル信号をアナログ信号に変換するDAコンバータを備え,前記ガンマ基準電圧発生回路は,前記ガンマ基準電圧を前記DAコンバータに出力することを特徴とする,請求項8〜14のいずれかに記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記DAコンバータは,ガンマ基準電圧受信部を更に備えることを特徴とする,請求項15に記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記データドライバは,
クロック信号に同期して,開始信号を順次にシフトさせて出力するシフトレジスタと,
前記シフトレジスタから出力された信号に同期して,階調データの出力を制御するラッチと,
を更に備えることを特徴とする,請求項16に記載の平板表示装置。 - 前記DAコンバータは,
第1電源と第2電源との間に,複数の分圧用抵抗が直列に接続された抵抗列と,
隣接する前記分圧用抵抗の共通ノードに各々接続され,前記分圧用抵抗によって分圧された電圧を選択して出力する複数のスイッチング素子と,
を備えることを特徴とする,請求項17に記載の平板表示装置。 - 前記第1電源は,前記ガンマ基準電圧受信部が受信したガンマ基準電圧であることを特徴とする,請求項18に記載の平板表示装置。
- 前記平板表示装置は,有機電界発光表示装置であることを特徴とする,請求項8〜19のいずれかに記載の平板表示装置。
