Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a crankshaft machining system for machining a crankshaft used in an engine or the like, and more particularly to a crankshaft balance correction.
A crankshaft used for an engine is generally processed by forging. The machine element processed by forging contains an unbalance component, and a black skin (oxide film) is formed on the surface by heat treatment. In order to correct this dimensional error and remove the black skin, the crankshaft is machined. At the same time as the cutting, the balance of the crankshaft is adjusted. This balance adjustment is performed by making a hole in a counterweight provided in the crank arm.
First, the forged crankshaft is held, the crankshaft is rotated with the line connecting both temporary holes as the rotation axis, and the position of the inertial spindle of the crankshaft is measured from the centrifugal force generated at this time (mass Centering process).
Next, based on the inertial spindle measured in the mass centering process, the rotation axis when the crankshaft is attached to the engine is determined, and a hole (center hole) is drilled at the intersection of this rotation axis and both ends of the crankshaft. (Center hole drilling process).
Next, black skin removal and crank journal processing are performed using the rotation shaft determined in the center hole machining step as a reference (crank shaft machining process). As a result of this processing, a new unbalance component is generated, and therefore, the balance measurement is performed with reference to the rotation axis (balance measurement step). Next, a hole for balance adjustment is drilled in the counterweight based on the result of the balance measurement process (balance correction process). Through the above steps, the crankshaft formed by forging is processed and is ready to be attached to the engine.
In recent years, automobiles are increasingly desired to have low vibration, low noise, and light weight. For this reason, the crankshaft, which is a component of an automobile engine, is required to be lightweight and have a small unbalance component. On the other hand, downsizing of the engine and the crankshaft has progressed, and the size and forming position of the counterweight for forming the balance adjusting hole tend to be limited. Therefore, in the center hole machining step, it is necessary to determine the rotation axis so that the unbalance component after the crankshaft machining step can be removed by forming a hole on the limited counterweight. In other words, it is necessary to determine the rotation axis so that an unbalanced component after the final processing step can be removed by forming a hole with a limited direction and a limited size.
Conventionally, an operator operating a center hole drilling device predicts the deviation of the inertia spindle caused by the crankshaft machining process from the result of the balance measurement performed in the past, and the predicted deviation amount is calculated for the center hole machining. By inputting to the apparatus, a center hole was formed at an appropriate position.
Therefore, in the conventional crankshaft machining system, the crankshaft cannot be automatically produced, and the time required for manufacturing per crankshaft is long.
In view of the above problems, the present invention provides a crankshaft machining system capable of automatically and appropriately determining the position of a rotary shaft so that a crankshaft having a small unbalance component can be manufactured automatically and in a short time. Objective.
In order to solve the above-described problems, a crankshaft machining system according to the present invention includes a mass centering station that obtains an inertia spindle of the crankshaft, and a rotary shaft that determines a rotation axis of the crankshaft based on the inertia spindle obtained by the mass centering station. A determining unit, a processing station that processes the crankshaft based on the rotation axis of the crankshaft determined by the rotating shaft determination unit, a balance measuring station that measures an unbalance amount of the crankshaft processed by the processing station, and a balance The balance correction station that corrects the crankshaft balance based on the crankshaft unbalance amount measured by the measurement station, and the rotation axis determination means uses the crankshaft unbalance amount measured by the balance measurement station to The axis of rotation It has a coefficient calculating means for calculating a coefficient to be used in a constant, a. Preferably, the rotation axis determination means determines the rotation axis so that an unbalance component generated by processing of the crankshaft by the processing station is canceled out.
With this configuration, it is possible to automatically manufacture a crankshaft with a low unbalance after machining against a small crankshaft that limits the size and position of the counterweight. It becomes.
For example, the coefficient is the relative position of the inertial spindle of the crankshaft machined by the machining station relative to the inertial spindle determined at the mass centering station in at least one crankshaft for which the unbalance amount was previously measured by the crankshaft machining system. .
This coefficient is an average value of the relative positions of the inertial main shafts of the crankshaft processed by the processing station with respect to the inertial main shaft obtained by the mass centering station in a plurality of crankshafts. Alternatively, this coefficient is the median value of the relative positions of the inertial spindles of the crankshaft machined by the machining station with respect to the inertial spindles obtained by the mass centering station in a plurality of crankshafts.
Further, this coefficient may be updated based on the unbalance amount every time the crankshaft unbalance amount is measured by the crankshaft machining system. For example, the coefficient is set based on the measurement result of the unbalance amount of a predetermined number of crankshafts that have always been most recently measured for balance.
As described above, according to the present invention, the rotational shaft is placed at a position where the amount and direction of the unbalance component after the processing such as black skin removal is performed on the crankshaft can be within a predetermined range. Can be determined. For this reason, even if it is a small crankshaft with little room for balance correction, an unbalance component can be removed.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a block diagram illustrating a configuration of a crankshaft machining system according to the present embodiment.

FIG. 2 is a side view of an example of the crankshaft C in the present embodiment. The crankshaft C has crankshaft ends CL and CR, crank journals CJ1 to CJ4, crank arms CA1 to CA9, and crank pins CP1 to CP6. From the left in FIG. 2, these are the left crankshaft end CL, the first crank journal CJ1, the first crank arm CA1, the first crank pin CP1, the second crank arm CA2, the second crank pin CP2, and the third crank arm CA3. , Second crank journal CJ2, fourth crank arm CA4, third crank pin CP3, fifth crank arm CA5, fourth crank pin CP4, sixth crank arm CA6, third crank journal CJ3, seventh crank arm CA7, The fifth crankpin CP5, the eighth crank arm CA8, the sixth crankpin CP6, the ninth crank arm CA9, the fourth crank journal CJ4, and the right crankshaft end CR are arranged in this order.
In the temporary hole forming station 100 (FIG. 1), the temporary holes THL and THR are drilled in the approximate center of the end flat portions of the crankshaft ends CL and CR. The temporary hole is drilled in the following procedure.
The
Through the above processing, temporary holes THL and THR are formed in the crankshaft C. The temporary holes THL and THR define the rotation axis of the crankshaft C in the mass centering process described below. The temporary holes THL and THR are conical holes, respectively.

A
A
The
As shown in FIG. 4,

ν1, ν2, ν3, and ν4 are relative positions of the crankshaft C and the
Therefore, xa, ya, xb, yb can be obtained by obtaining the coefficients ν1, ν2, ν3, ν4 (influence coefficients) in advance. The influence coefficient can be calculated by measuring the initial signals Wa and Wb of a plurality of crankshafts (master work) having the same shape as the crankshaft C and the positions of the inertia main spindles with the
Through the above processing, the position of the inertia main shaft of the crankshaft C is specified. Based on the position of the inertia main shaft, the rotation axis of the crankshaft C is obtained. This process is performed by the
Similar to the temporary hole forming station, the
As described above, the crankshaft C is generally formed by forging. When a metal member such as steel is forged, particularly hot forged, an oxide film called a black skin is formed on the surface thereof. The surface on which the black skin is formed has a large surface roughness and should be removed from the crank journal part which is a sliding surface. For this reason, the
The crankshaft C that has been subjected to the above machining has “an unbalanced component newly generated by cutting of the crankshaft” in addition to “an unbalanced component resulting from the difference between the rotating shaft of the crankshaft C before machining and the inertia spindle”. Has an added imbalance. The
Similar to the
In order to remove the unbalanced component of the crankshaft C, holes are made in counterweights provided in the crank arms CA1 to CA9 to reduce the mass of the crankshaft at the position of the counterweight. This process is performed at the balance correction station. Since a method for obtaining the depth of the hole formed in each counterweight from the vibration amount obtained by the
In a small crankshaft, the mounting position and size of the counterweight in which the balance correcting hole is formed are limited. In order to manufacture such a crankshaft C, the unbalance component at the time when the processing at the
According to the study by the present applicants, the crankshafts formed from a single die can be used as long as the temperature and humidity at the time of forging are constant. The distribution of positional deviations falls within a certain range. Therefore, when determining the rotation axis of a certain crankshaft, the crankshaft position of the crankshaft is determined by referring to the displacement of the position of the inertial spindle after machining with respect to the position of the inertial spindle before machining in a plurality of crankshafts previously measured for balance. By determining the rotation axis, the amount of correction in balance correction can be reduced.
More specifically, the position of the rotating shaft of the crankshaft C is determined by the procedure described below. This process is realized by the
The flow shown in FIG. 7 is executed after a certain crankshaft C is measured by the
The positions of both ends of the inertia main shaft of the crankshaft C with respect to the temporary holes at both ends of the crankshaft C, that is, the vectors -Ua and -Ub are measured by the
In step S102, "the relative positions of the inertia main shaft after machining (according to the machining station) at both ends of the crankshaft with respect to the positions at both ends of the crankshaft of the inertia spindle before machining" are set to 50 cranks of the same type as the crankshaft C. Data calculated for the axis (previously subjected to balance correction) is extracted from a database (not shown) built in the
In step S103, it calculates the average value Db m of the average value Da m and Db 1 to 50 of Da 1 to 50. Next, step S104 is executed.
In step S104, the arithmetic -Ua + Da m, a-Ub + Db m. Each position of the center hole of the opposite ends of the crankshaft C is a position where the temporary hole THL apart vector (-Ua + Da m), and from Kariana THR apart vector (-Ub + Db m) position. The center hole position data calculated in the above procedure is sent to the
Thereafter, the
Ca and Cb are vectors indicating the position of the inertial spindle with respect to the center hole. Therefore, the deviation of the "principal axes of inertia in the crankshaft after working" for "principal axes of inertia in the processing prior to the crank axis", Da m + Ca, the Db m + Cb.
Next, step S107 is executed. In step S107, Da n, updating the Db n is performed. Specifically is Da (l + 1) to Da l, Db (l + 1 ) is substituted respectively Db l. Note that l is an integer from 1 to 49. Further, Da 50 is (Da m + Ca), the Db 50 is (Db m + Cb), are respectively substituted. As a result, the data on the crankshaft with the oldest balance measurement time is not used in the future, and the data on the crankshaft C which is the latest measurement result is used instead.
Therefore, according to the present embodiment, the position of the rotation shaft (center hole) of the crankshaft is determined based on the measurement results of the 50 crankshafts that have always been subjected to the balance measurement.
In this embodiment, the number of crankshafts (n number) referred to for specifying the position of the rotating shaft is 50, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the n number is an arbitrary value. can do. The optimum n number varies depending on the operating conditions of the apparatus and the like, and is determined mainly based on empirical rules.
Further, in the present embodiment, the average value of “the deviation of the inertia main axis in the crankshaft after machining with respect to the inertia main axis in the crankshaft before machining” in a plurality of crankshafts is expressed as “with respect to the inertia main spindle before machining in a certain crankshaft. The “relative position of the center hole” is used, but the present invention is not limited to this. That is, the median of other indices, for example, “the deviation of the inertia spindle in the crankshaft after machining relative to the inertia spindle in the crankshaft before machining” in a plurality of crankshafts, is set to the “center relative to the inertia spindle before machining” in a certain crankshaft. The relative position of the hole may be used.
