Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an in-wheel motor structure, and more particularly to an improvement of an in-wheel motor structure capable of satisfactorily adjusting the temperature of the in-wheel motor.
In recent years, those using a rotating electrical machine as a drive source for automobiles have been put into practical use. In particular, a so-called in-wheel motor in which a rotating electric machine is directly built inside a wheel as a drive wheel has been put into practical use. As the configuration of the in-wheel motor, for example, only an electric motor is accommodated in the motor housing, the motor direct connection type using the rotation of the motor directly for the rotation of the wheel, the motor and the speed reduction mechanism are accommodated in the motor housing, There is one that decelerates high rotation of a high-efficiency motor by a reduction mechanism and generates a desired high torque.
In such an in-wheel motor, a regenerative braking force can be applied to the drive wheels by performing regenerative control of the motor. However, since this regenerative braking alone may not provide sufficient braking force for the vehicle as a whole, a vehicle equipped with an in-wheel motor is usually equipped with a regular hydraulic brake using hydraulic pressure. That is, the vehicle is configured to perform smooth and safe braking by performing cooperative control using one or both of the regenerative braking force and the hydraulic brake braking force of the motor.
However, it is desirable to make the unsprung load of the suspension as light as possible. From that point of view, it is not preferable to dispose the blower in the in-wheel motor that hits under the spring. Further, since a brake device such as a disc brake or a drum brake is disposed adjacent to the in-wheel motor, there is a problem that it is difficult to secure a space for mounting the blower. In addition, the layout of a blower that cools in a well-balanced manner in the wheel is very difficult, and there is a problem that it is difficult to cool the in-wheel motor as a whole and efficiently.
This invention is made | formed in view of such a condition, The objective is to provide the in-wheel motor structure which can perform the temperature control of an in-wheel motor with an efficient and simple structure.
In order to solve the above-described problems, an in-wheel motor structure according to an aspect of the present invention acquires motor temperature acquisition means for acquiring the temperature of an in-wheel motor and the temperatures of peripheral members arranged in the vicinity of the in-wheel motor. Member temperature acquisition means, temperature comparison means for comparing the acquired temperature of the in-wheel motor and the temperature of the peripheral member, and a contact area between the in-wheel motor and the peripheral member is changed based on the result of the temperature comparison. And an area changing means.
According to this aspect, it is possible to easily adjust the heat conduction efficiency and adjust the temperature of the in-wheel motor by changing the contact area between the in-wheel motor and the peripheral member. At this time, since the area changing means for changing the contact area can be constituted by, for example, a plate-like member, the arrangement space can be easily secured. Moreover, since it is not necessary to use a large-sized member, an increase in the weight of the in-wheel motor can be suppressed.
Further, in the above aspect, the peripheral member is a friction brake disposed adjacent to an in-wheel motor, and the area changing means increases the contact area between the in-wheel motor and the friction brake to increase the contact area of the in-wheel motor. It is possible to conduct the heat generated by the heat to the friction brake side. According to this aspect, the heat generated by the in-wheel motor can be easily radiated. In addition, the heat generated by the in-wheel motor can be transmitted to the friction brake, and the friction brake can be preheated toward the optimum operating temperature, which can contribute to the effective use of the heat generated by the in-wheel motor.
Moreover, the said aspect WHEREIN: The said area change means can include a heat transfer member, can accumulate the heat which generate | occur | produced with the said in-wheel motor, and can carry out heat conduction to the peripheral member side. As the heat transfer member, it is preferable to select a material that appropriately stores heat and appropriately dissipates heat. For example, cast iron can be used. In addition, aluminum, copper, or the like can be used. According to this aspect, the heat generated by the in-wheel motor can be easily radiated to the peripheral member side.
In the above aspect, the area changing means can increase the contact area when the temperature of the in-wheel motor is higher than the temperature of the friction brake. According to this configuration, when the temperature of the in-wheel motor rises, heat can be radiated from the in-wheel motor quickly.
Moreover, the said aspect WHEREIN: The said area change means can make it increase the contact area of the stator part of an in-wheel motor, and the rotating member of the said friction brake. According to this aspect, heat can be transmitted from the most heat-generating part of the in-wheel motor to the most heat-radiating part of the friction brake, and the in-wheel motor can be radiated. In the case of an in-wheel motor, a braking force can be generated by regenerative control, so that the friction brake is used less frequently. Therefore, the temperature of the rotating member of the friction brake is also low, and the heat release of the in-wheel motor can be performed efficiently.
Further, in the above aspect, the area changing means can increase the contact area when the vehicle is stopped. According to this aspect, the contact area between the in-wheel motor side and the peripheral member side is increased when the in-wheel motor is not expected to be cooled by the traveling wind, particularly when the vehicle stops temporarily in the traveling route. Thus, the in-wheel motor can be efficiently cooled.
According to the in-wheel motor structure of the present invention, temperature adjustment can be performed with an efficient and simple structure.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention (hereinafter referred to as an embodiment) will be described with reference to the drawings.
The in-wheel motor structure of the present embodiment adjusts the temperature of the in-wheel motor and the peripheral member by changing the contact area between the in-wheel motor and the peripheral member based on the comparison of the temperature of the in-wheel motor and the temperature of the peripheral member. Can be performed in a balanced manner. For example, it is possible to efficiently dissipate heat from an in-wheel motor that has become high temperature due to self-heating to peripheral members.
FIG. 1 is a conceptual diagram of a configuration of a
The
FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a schematic structure of the in-
In the structure shown in FIG. 2A, the motor direct connection type in-
As described above, in the case of the in-
A well-known brake structure of the
2 (a) and 2 (b) show an area change for changing the contact area between the in-
The
Actuators such as the
Returning to FIG. 1, the in-
The
FIG. 5 shows a functional block diagram of the
A heat radiation operation of the in-
The traveling
The
During this time, the traveling
In S110, when it is determined that the vehicle has not started traveling or is not traveling (N in S110), the process returns to S102, and the acquisition of the temperatures of the
In the flowchart of FIG. 6, it is first determined whether the
As described above, according to the in-wheel motor structure of the present embodiment, when the
In the case of a friction brake including the
In the present embodiment, it is desirable that the heat transfer operation by the forward and backward movement of the
In the above-described embodiment, the disk brake has been described as an example of the friction brake, but a drum brake may be used. In this case, the
Furthermore, in the present embodiment, the member that the
Further, the configuration of the
