A vehicle door mirror according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described.

In addition, by dropping concentrated hydrochloric acid into the opening, the metal film immediately below the opening can be released and removed instantly and easily. After the above process, a mirror film is pasted on the back surface of the glass where the metal film has been removed, so that a commercially available inexpensive mirror produced in large quantities is partially mirrored 4a. Can be easily modified.
A cut film with an opening formed in the metal film on the back of the mirror of an existing door mirror is attached, and the metal film of the mirror directly under the opening reaches the glass surface using needles, blades, abrasives, etc. The surface is scratched, concentrated hydrochloric acid is dropped into the opening to remove the metal film directly under the opening, a mirror film is attached to the back of the glass where the metal film has been removed, and a half mirror is formed, By disposing the light emitting diode on the back of the half mirror, the existing single-function door mirror can be easily modified into a multifunction door mirror having both an external visual recognition function and a signal lamp function.

In the case of a mirror with a metal film formed on the surface instead of the back surface, after removing the metal film on the surface, a mirror film is attached to the back surface of the glass where the metal film has been removed, and a part of the mirror A half mirror is formed on the substrate. In this case, a commercially available glass film forming liquid is applied to the surface of the glass where the metal film has been removed and the metal film in the vicinity of the removal part, and a glass film is formed on the part to form a metal film in the vicinity of the removal part. It is desirable to improve the weather resistance.
A plurality of
When removing the metal film of the mirror, instead of concentrated hydrochloric acid, other strong acids such as concentrated sulfuric acid, nitric acid, or a mixture thereof may be used.
A cut film with openings formed in the mirror metal film is attached, hard fine particles are blasted, and a large number of micro holes are irregularly formed in the mirror metal film immediately below the opening to form a half mirror, or A half mirror may be formed by irradiating a part of the metal film with a laser beam and forming a large number of fine holes regularly or irregularly in the part. Since the irradiation target position of the laser beam can be accurately controlled, it is not necessary to attach a cut film having an opening in the metal film of the mirror when the laser beam is irradiated. However, a cut film in which an opening is formed is attached to the metal film of the mirror, and the laser beam is not prevented from being irradiated on a portion immediately below the opening.
In a part where a large number of fine holes are regularly or irregularly drilled in the metal film of the mirror, the metal film is removed from the part of the fine holes so that the front and back surfaces of the mirror are transparent, and the remaining metal Since the film portion does not lose its function as a mirror, a half mirror is formed.
The glass surface of the fine hole portion has fine irregularities formed by blasting or laser processing, and the LED light is refracted irregularly when passing through the hole portion, so that it is emitted from the fine hole. LED light is scattered. As a result, the dazzle of the LED light is reduced for the vehicle occupant who sees the LED light, and the comfort is improved, and for the occupant or pedestrian of the adjacent vehicle who sees the LED light from the diagonally rear side of the door mirror. However, the LED light can be easily seen and traffic safety is improved.
The hard fine particles used for blasting are preferably metal fine particles. Sand is not suitable for the formation of a homogeneous half mirror because the particle size is uneven and the fine pores are uneven. The glass fine particles are insufficient in hardness and cannot form fine holes in the metal film. Metal fine particles such as iron powder and aluminum powder have an appropriate hardness, and fine particles having a uniform particle size for each particle size can be obtained on the market.
When the half mirror is formed by blasting of hard fine particles or by irradiation with a laser beam, the metal film of the door mirror may be formed on the mirror back surface or on the mirror surface.
The present invention is widely applicable to vehicle door mirrors.
