Description

The present invention relates to an apparatus for manufacturing a cylindrical film, and it is possible to improve the folding accuracy when manufacturing a heat-shrinkable label, which has been subjected to printing that is heat-shrinked to a container such as a PET bottle, from a film to a cylinder, It is intended to prevent scratches and whitening of the overlapped portion.

Conventionally, containers such as plastic bottles filled with soft drinks have been printed on the inner surface of a long heat-shrinkable film. It is generally performed to make a tubular film that is bonded to form a tubular film, and to heat-shrink and attach a heat-shrinkable label (shrink label) cut from the film.

As an apparatus for producing a cylindrical film from such a long film, for example, in the folding bonding apparatus 1 disclosed in Patent Document 1 shown in FIG. 3, the long film 3 is guided as the transport mechanism 2. A pair of upper and lower guide rollers 2a and a pair of upper and lower nip rollers 2b for conveying the bonded tubular film 3 while pulling it are provided for conveyance, and a work plate 4 is disposed in the middle of these conveyance mechanisms 2a and 2b. A long film 3 is wound from the lower side, and two pairs of rollers 5a and 5b that are inclined in a pair of left and right conveying directions constituting the folding mechanism 5 are provided so as to be brought into contact with the film surface and draw both edges. Then, an adhesive is applied to the folded overlapping portion 3a by the nozzle 6, and then pressed by the pressing plate 7 to be bonded.
Various similar tubular film manufacturing apparatuses have been proposed, such as Patent Documents 2 and 3.
Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 58-121802 JP-A-8-2512 JP-A-8-337219

In such a cylindrical film manufacturing apparatus, the long film 3 is supplied to the lower side of the work plate 4 and the rollers 5a and 5b inclined with respect to the transport direction are brought into contact with each other so as to draw both edges. Since the inner surface of the film 3 and the work plate 4 rub against each other because they are folded into a cylindrical shape, the inner surface of the film 3 is easily damaged. Usually, printing is performed on the inner surface of the film, so that the printed surface is damaged. is there.

In addition, since both edges of the film 3 need to be overlapped to form a cylinder, the rollers 5a and 5b inclined with respect to the transport direction are brought into contact with each other, so that the film 3 rolls in a direction crossing the transport direction of the film 3. There is also a problem that rubbing marks enter the outer surface of the film 3 by these moving rollers 5a and 5b.

Furthermore, when laminating the overlapping portion 3a overlaid on the cylindrical film 3, if a solvent for adhesion is applied to one of the overlapping portions 3a, the surface of the film can be unevenly compressed by a solvent attack. If the layers are bonded together, innumerable bubbles may be sandwiched in this portion to cause whitening, and there is a problem that the range of usable solvents becomes narrow.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems of the prior art, and is intended to provide an apparatus for manufacturing a cylindrical film that does not cause scratches on the inner surface and outer surface of the film and can prevent air bubbles from being caught in the overlapped portion.
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
1 and 2 relate to an embodiment of the tubular film manufacturing apparatus of the present invention, FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view of the whole, and FIG. 2 is a V-groove roller portion, a signature roller portion, and a pre-bonding roller. It is sectional drawing of a part.

The cylindrical film manufacturing apparatus 10 is an apparatus for manufacturing a heat-shrinkable label, which is printed by being heat-shrinked into a container such as a PET bottle, from a flat film to a cylindrical film. The flat long film is printed on the inner surface in advance.

In this cylindrical film manufacturing apparatus 10, a nip roller 13 is used as an upstream conveyance roller (not shown) that conveys the long film 11 and a downstream conveyance roller that conveys the tubular film 12 after being bonded by pulling. After the roll-shaped film 11 is sequentially fed out, it is folded back so that both edge portions 11a and 11b are overlapped, and the overlapping portion 11c is bonded and fed out as a tubular film 12, and is wound up by a winding device (not shown). It is like that.

In order to fold the long film 11 conveyed in this way into a cylindrical film 12, a folding roller 14 for regulating the folding width is provided on the upstream side and is composed of a horizontal roller, and the roll length is the film. 11 is set in correspondence with the folding width B of 11 and is brought into contact with the inner surface of the film 11 to regulate the folding diameter D of the tubular film 12. In addition, the elongate film 11 conveyed is set so that the insertion angle to the folding | turning roller 14 may be 5 to 80 degree | times with respect to a horizontal surface, Preferably it is 40 to 60 degree | times.

A pair of guide rollers 15 are provided on both sides of the folding roller 14 to guide the edges 11a and 11b of the folded film 11 so as not to flutter. Is conveyed while the film 11 is in contact therewith.

Further, as shown in FIG. 2A, a V-groove roller 16 provided with V-grooves for pressing up and down of the folded-back portion 11d is disposed on the downstream side of the folding roller 14. A pair of 16 is arranged on both sides in the width direction of the film 11 and the film 11 is sandwiched from both sides so that the folded width B of the film 11 (folding diameter D of the tubular film 12) is maintained.

Three pairs of such V-groove rollers 16 are provided in the conveying direction so that the folded shape of the film 11 and the folded width B (folded diameter D of the tubular film 12) can be maintained.

Further, in this tubular film manufacturing apparatus 10, a folding roller 17 constituted by a pair of upper and lower horizontal rolls is provided downstream of the most upstream V-groove roller 16, as shown in FIG. The roll gap is adjusted so that the folded state can be maintained without folding until the film 11 is completely folded.

A folding roller 17 is also provided on the downstream side of the most downstream V-groove roller 16.
These folding rollers 17 are configured as short rollers divided in the width direction of the film 11 as shown in FIG. 2 (b), for example, or as shown in FIG. 2 (c). A split roller is used, and the lower side is constituted by one long continuous roller.

In addition to the illustrated example, the folding roller 17 may be constituted by a continuous roller that is long in both the upper and lower sides, and may be any as long as it can fold the film 11.

A coating nozzle 18 for applying a laminating agent is provided between the most downstream V-groove roller 16 and the downstream folding roller 17. Here, the inner surface of the upper edge portion 11 a of the overlapping portion 11 c of the film 11 is provided. An adhesive solvent is applied to the substrate.

In addition, as a bonding agent, an adhesive may be used in addition to the solvent of the film 11 as long as the overlapping portion 11c can be bonded to form a cylinder.

A pre-nip roller 19 as a pre-bonding roller for bonding is provided immediately downstream of the coating nozzle 18 and is disposed between the upper rollers of the downstream folding roller 17 and the lower folding roller 17. Is used also as a lower roller of the pre-nip roller 19 as a pre-bonding roller so that the overlapping portion 11c of the film 11 can be pressed and bonded.

The pre-nip roller 19 as the pre-bonding roller presses the overlapping portion 11c of the film 11 immediately after the bonding agent is applied, thereby preventing the occurrence of unevenness due to the solvent attack of the film 11 by the adhesive solvent. It also prevents white air bubbles from getting caught.

Further, the entire width direction of the tubular film 12 is pressed by the nip roller 13 positioned on the downstream side of the pre-nip roller 19 as the pre-bonding roller, and the tubular film 12 is conveyed so as to be pulled out.

In the cylindrical film manufacturing apparatus 10 configured as described above, the cylindrical film 12 is manufactured from the long film 11 as follows.

When the roll-shaped long film 11 is conveyed by an upstream conveyance roller and a downstream nip roller 13 (not shown) and sent to the lower side of the folding roller 14, both edges 11 a of the film 11 have the width of the folding roller 14. , 11b are folded back and guided by the guide rollers 15 on both sides thereof to prevent fluttering, and the folding is started.

Then, the folded width B is maintained by the three pairs of the V-groove roller 16 and the folding roller 17 while the folded film 11 is being conveyed, and the folded portion 11d is pressed and reliably folded. An adhesive solvent is applied to one of the overlapping portions 11c by the application nozzle 18 for the bonding agent.

Then, the overlapping portion 11c is pressed and bonded by a pre-nip roller 19 as a pre-bonding roller provided immediately after the coating nozzle 18, and the cylindrical film 12 is formed.

Then, the tubular film 12 is pressed over the entire width by the nip roller 13 further downstream, sent out, and wound up to complete the tubular film 12.

According to such a tubular film manufacturing apparatus 10, the folding width 14 is regulated by applying the rotating folding roller 14 to the inner surface of the long film 11, so that the scratches as in the case of a fixed work plate are obtained. Can be prevented.

Further, V groove rollers 16 are provided on both downstream sides in the feed direction of the folding roller 14 to press both edge folded portions 11d of the long film 11 from both sides and maintain the folded width B. It is possible to prevent the occurrence of scratches as in the case of using a roller that intersects the conveying direction in contact with the above, and it is possible to manufacture a cylindrical film with high accuracy.

Further, since the guide roller 15 for pressing the flutter of the film 11 is provided on the outer side of the folding roller 14, the film 11 can be smoothly folded back by pressing the flutter when the edges 11a and 11b are folded back from the flat shape. .

Further, according to the tubular film manufacturing apparatus 10, the folding rollers 17 that press the front and back of the both-side folded portions 11d are provided on both downstream sides in the feed direction of the V-groove roller 16, so that the folding width can be more reliably achieved. B (folding diameter D of the tubular film 12) can be kept constant.

Further, since a pre-nip roller 19 as a pre-bonding roller is provided adjacent to the downstream side of the coating nozzle 18 in the feed direction, by pressing immediately after the bonding agent is applied, the occurrence of a solvent attack or the like is prevented. Air bubbles can be eliminated and whitening caused by this can be prevented.

In addition, since the pre-nip roller 19 as the pre-bonding roller is configured with a narrow width roller corresponding to the overlapping portion 11c, it is easy to apply a pressing force by setting the minimum necessary roller width, It is possible to prevent whitening by more reliably preventing the presence of bubbles.

Next, about the Example of the cylindrical film 12 manufactured with the manufacturing apparatus 10 of the cylindrical film of this invention, the measurement result of the folding diameter D is demonstrated with a comparative example.
In this example, 2.0 L (liter) of a tubular film for PET bottles (target folding diameter: 174.3 mm) was manufactured by changing the conveying speed (100, 200 m / min), and each folding diameter D ( mm).

また、使用したフィルム(材料:OPS、厚さ:60μm)は、A社製I、II、B社製Iの3種類とした。   Moreover, the film used (material: OPS, thickness: 60 micrometers) was made into three types of I, II made from A company, and I made from B company.

As a cylindrical film manufacturing apparatus, three pairs of V-groove rollers and two pairs of folding rollers were installed.

Moreover, the apparatus provided with the conventional working plate and 2 sets of inclination rollers was used as a comparative example.

The measurement results of Examples and Comparative Examples are as shown in Table 1. In any case, the folding diameter D of the example has a smaller error from the target folding diameter and can be manufactured with high accuracy. Was confirmed.
