Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an oil circulation mechanism including an oil pan of an engine body and a sub tank provided as an auxiliary to increase the total amount of oil.
The configuration of the oil circulation mechanism as shown in Patent Document 1 can be roughly divided into two types according to the oil circulation system.
First, as a first configuration, when comparing the capacity of the oil pan and the sub tank, if the capacity of the sub tank is large, the oil in the sub tank is difficult to flow into the oil pan of the engine body. Generally, an oil pump for circulating the oil is provided.
On the other hand, in the second configuration, when the capacity of the oil pan and the sub tank is compared, when the capacity of the oil pan is large, the oil stored in the oil pan and the sub tank is relatively easy to circulate. No oil pump is needed.
By the way, in the case of the first configuration, since an oil pump is required, an increase in cost, a space for the oil pump, and the like are required, so it is difficult to reduce the size.
In addition, in the case of the second configuration, since the size of the oil pan itself is increased by the amount that does not require an oil pump, there is little concern about an increase in cost, but a large space for the oil pan is required. As described above, it is difficult to reduce the size.
Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and its purpose is as follows:
It is an object to provide an oil circulation mechanism that can perform oil circulation efficiently without requiring an oil pump and without increasing the size of an oil pan.
The problem to be solved by the present invention is as described above. Next, means for solving the problem will be described.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, in an oil circulation mechanism comprising an oil pan provided in the engine body and a sub tank provided in the vicinity of the oil pan, the oil pan and the sub tank communicate with each other. By providing a partition plate in the part, the oil pan is configured to be separated into an oil receiving part and an oil reservoir part, and an oil passage communicating with the sub tank is provided in each of the oil receiver part and the oil reservoir part. It is provided.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, the upper surface side of the sub-tank and the crankcase on the engine body side or the oil pan are communicated with each other.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, the partition plate is provided to be inclined so as to become lower toward an oil passage communicating the oil receiving portion and the sub tank.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, a groove toward the oil passage communicating the oil receiving portion and the sub tank is formed on the surface of the partition plate on the oil receiving portion side.
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, a step in which the sub tank side is lowered is formed in the middle of the oil passage that communicates the oil receiving portion and the sub tank.
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, an end portion on the oil passage side connecting the oil receiving portion and the sub tank in the partition plate forms a step which becomes lower.
According to a seventh aspect of the present invention, a middle portion of the oil passage communicating the oil receiving portion and the sub tank is formed in a U-shaped step.
According to an eighth aspect of the present invention, the partition plate is provided with a hole that communicates the oil receiving portion and the oil reservoir.
As effects of the present invention, the following effects can be obtained.
According to the configuration of the first aspect, the oil inside the oil pan and the oil inside the sub tank can be used evenly.
Therefore, the oil is uniformly deteriorated without being biased as compared with the conventional case, so that the maintenance interval such as oil replacement can be extended.
According to the configuration of the second aspect, in the sub tank and the oil pan, the pressures in the spaces not filled with oil are kept uniform with each other, so that it is possible to prevent the liquid level from being imbalanced.
Furthermore, since there is no pressure difference between the sub tank and the oil pan, there is no up-and-down movement of the oil liquid level due to the pressure difference, so there is no false detection of the oil liquid level.
According to the configuration of claim 3, it is possible to receive the oil around the engine body by the partition plate which is the bottom of the oil receiving portion, and to flow the received oil to the oil passage on the lower side of the partition plate. With such a configuration, it is possible to efficiently perform oil circulation.
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, it is possible to collect the oil received by the partition plate in the groove and flow it to the upper oil passage, so that the oil circulation can be efficiently performed with a simple configuration.
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, even if the exhaust gas flowing together with the oil from the engine body side to the oil receiving portion is about to flow into the sub tank, the low step portion (sub tank side) of the oil passage is filled with the oil. It does not flow into the sub tank.
In other words, since the step is formed so that the sub tank side of the oil passage is filled with oil, it is possible to prevent the exhaust gas from flowing into the sub tank and coming into contact with the oil stored in the sub tank, thereby deteriorating the oil. Is possible.
According to the configuration of the sixth aspect, even if the exhaust gas flowing together with the oil from the engine main body side to the oil receiving portion flows into the sub tank, the step is filled with the oil, and therefore the oil passage is also filled with the oil. It is possible to prevent the inflow.
That is, it is possible to prevent the exhaust gas from flowing into the upper surface of the sub-tank and exposing the oil stored in the sub-tank due to the exhaust gas that has flowed in, so that the deterioration of the oil can be prevented.
With the configuration of the seventh aspect, the pressure change in the upper space on the sub tank side and the pressure change on the oil receiving portion side are absorbed.
Therefore, unlike the prior art, there is no need to provide a pressure equalizing pipe that connects the sub tank side and the crankcase or oil pan on the engine body side to each other, and the number of parts and the like can be reduced.
According to the configuration of the eighth aspect, when the oil level on the sub tank side rises and the oil on the sub tank side flows back to the oil receiving part side through the oil passage, the oil flowing into the oil receiving part side is passed through the hole. It becomes possible to discharge into the oil reservoir.
Therefore, it is possible to prevent the amount of oil on the sub tank side from becoming excessive.

<Outline configuration>
The schematic structure of the oil circulation mechanism of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
The outline of the oil circulation mechanism of the present invention includes an
