Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a reaction container used when performing medical analysis such as adsorption / purification of a specimen in DNA analysis, chemical reaction or synthesis analysis. This type of reaction vessel is sometimes referred to as a biochip, microchip, fluidic device, or the like.
In recent years, attempts to provide more efficient medical treatment based on the results of DNA structure analysis are rapidly developing, and many small reaction vessels used for DNA analysis have been developed. The general structure of this type of reaction vessel is that a flat base with a small groove (microchannel) formed on the surface, and a cover that is joined to this and closes the opening of the groove, and has the same outer shape as the base. It is formed by integrally joining the plate. The cover plate is provided with a passage through which the analysis solution and the reaction solution are poured into the groove, and the analysis and the reaction are performed in a state where the analysis solution is accommodated in the groove. For example,
In the reaction container of
As described above, if the cover plate is bonded and fixed to the base, the reaction vessel can be manufactured at low cost with little effort, and the adhesive is filled in the gap between the joint surfaces over a wide range, so the sealing performance is good. It can be secured. In particular, an ultraviolet curable adhesive containing a UV resin is excellent in terms of workability and workability because the time from application to curing can be arbitrarily set.
However, when bonding the cover plate to the base, it is difficult to uniformly apply the adhesive with the same thickness. If an adhesive with low viscosity is used, the adhesive can be diffused almost uniformly by capillary action when the cover plate is pressed against the base, but the adhesive in the middle of diffusion may enter the core groove, Lack of reliability.
A high-viscosity adhesive can be applied in accordance with a prescribed pattern by performing a coating operation with a low-capacity discharge device and an industrial robot. The problem is that when the cover plates are joined, the pre-applied adhesive layer cannot be sufficiently stretched and diffused, and it is inevitable that an extra space is formed at the periphery of the opening of the groove. In some cases, the stretched and diffused adhesive may protrude from the opening edge of the groove.
As a method for integrating the base and the cover plate, an adhesion method other than the above or a heat welding method can be employed. For example, when the base and the cover plate are made of a compatible plastic material, the solvent can be applied to one of them to melt the joint surface, and then both can be joined and integrated. Alternatively, ultrasonic welding can be performed in a state where the base and the cover plate are joined, so that both can be integrated.
However, in the adhesion method using a solvent, there is a possibility that the closed space in the groove is contaminated with the residual solvent, and it is necessary to remove the residual solvent by extra work such as cleaning. When the cover plate is pressed against the base, there is a considerable risk that the opening peripheral edge of the melted groove is pushed into the groove. Health and safety issues when using toxic solvents cannot be ignored. When the base and the cover plate are integrated by the ultrasonic welding method, there is a possibility that dust (molten droplets) accompanying ultrasonic transmission may be contained in the groove space, and contamination of the space in the groove becomes a problem. Furthermore, any joining method cannot be applied when one of the base and the cover plate is formed of glass, ceramics, metal, or the like.
Further, when the planar accuracy of the joint surface between the base and the cover plate is poor, there is a problem that the joint surface between the two parts is partially lifted, and the sealing performance at the joint surface is likely to deteriorate. Such a problem can be solved by adopting a base with high flatness, but in this case, the processing cost of the base increases, and as a result, the manufacturing cost of the reaction vessel increases. In the conventional joining method using an adhesive, it is necessary to hold both the base and the cover plate with a jig until the adhesive is hardened. In other words, an increase in manufacturing cost is inevitable.
The object of the present invention is to prevent the adhesive from protruding into the groove when the cover plate is bonded in the type in which the base and the cover plate are bonded, and eliminate the formation of an extra space at the periphery of the opening of the groove. An object of the present invention is to provide a reaction container capable of preventing an adhesive from being dissolved in a reagent or reacting with a specimen.
An object of the present invention is to provide a reaction vessel that can properly bond and fix a cover plate to a base and can be manufactured at a low cost even when the number of lots in production is small.
An object of the present invention is to provide a reaction vessel capable of accurately forming an adhesive layer with a uniform thickness. The object of the present invention is to bond and fix the cover plate in a state where it is accurately positioned with respect to the base. Therefore, it is possible to eliminate the failure of positioning work and improve the product yield, and the base and cover plate are made of different materials. It is to provide a reaction vessel that can be integrated without any problem.
An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a reaction vessel that can be easily produced with less labor compared to a conventional reaction vessel of this type and can therefore be produced at low cost.

In the present invention according to claim 11, in the reaction container according to claim 10, the
In this invention of
In the present invention described in
In the present invention according to claim 14, in the reaction vessel according to
In the present invention described in claim 15, the joint surfaces of the
In the present invention according to
Thus, when the
According to the second aspect of the present invention, since a smooth plastic sheet having excellent chemical resistance is used as the
According to the third aspect of the present invention, the inner peripheral wall surface of the
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, since the
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, since the
Since the
According to the sixth aspect of the present invention, since the
According to the seventh aspect of the present invention, since the
According to the eighth aspect of the present invention, since the
According to the ninth aspect of the present invention, since the joint surfaces of the
According to the tenth aspect of the present invention, the
According to the present invention described in claim 11, since the
At this time, since the
Furthermore, according to the present invention of claim 11, since the
According to the present invention of
According to the thirteenth aspect of the present invention, since the
In the present invention according to claim 14, since the
According to the fifteenth aspect of the present invention, since the joining surfaces of the
First Embodiment FIGS. 1 to 3 show a first embodiment of a reaction vessel according to the present invention corresponding to
The
In FIG. 1, one
The
The
The
A general double-sided adhesive sheet uses paper or non-woven fabric as a base sheet, but when the
In order to eliminate the adhesion failure and handling difficulty derived from the base sheet as described above, the
When bonding the

In the obtained reaction container, the analysis solution or the like is put into each of the sealed
When using this reaction vessel, as shown in FIG. 3, the space between the opening periphery of each

Second Embodiment FIGS. 4 to 6 show a second embodiment of the reaction vessel of the present invention corresponding to
However, what should be noted here is that the
4 and 5, the
As shown in FIG. 6, a screen curtain (press plate) 17 used for screen printing includes a
When the
After the
While maintaining the above bonding state, the
As shown in FIG. 5, the obtained reaction container only exposes the peripheral edge of the opening of the
The
(Third Embodiment) FIGS. 7 to 10 show a third embodiment of the reaction vessel of the present invention corresponding to
In FIG. 7, an
It should be noted that
In FIG. 10, the
In FIG. 9, the code |
Thus, the
The pressing force of the
Subsequently, the
Prior to the curing of the
(Fourth Embodiment) FIG. 11 shows a fourth embodiment of the present invention in which the third embodiment is partially changed. In this case, the
According to the fourth embodiment, similar to the third embodiment, a reaction vessel excellent in sealing performance can be manufactured at low cost. There is an advantage that the reaction container can be provided at a low cost by the amount of application of the expensive adhesive.
In the third and fourth embodiments, the number and arrangement of the
