Description

本発明は、皮膚の清掃、特に皮膚のピーリングに適した化粧パッドと、該化粧パッドを製造する方法に関する。
皮膚のピーリングの用途に適した化粧パッド、すなわち柔らかな感触を示す面と、“ピーリングする”ため、即ち死んで剥がれた皮膚を除去するために使用される粗面とを備えた化粧パッドが知られている。
特許文献1は、プラスチックコーティングを連続的に備えているピーリングパッドを開示している。このプラスチックコーティングは液体状態で化粧パッドに塗布されて硬化したプラスチックからなる。該プラスチックには研磨材料が導入されている。該化粧パッドは、プラスチックが硬化する前に、液状プラスチックが化粧パッドの繊維材料内に深く浸透する惧れがあるという欠点を有する。他の実施態様では、該プラスチックコーティングとして研磨表面を有するフィルムを作成し、接着剤を用いて化粧パッドの表面に導入する。接着剤を使用する場合、方法技術的な難点が生じ、コストが嵩み、また化粧パッドの吸収能力に悪影響が及ぶ。更に、両実施態様は、連続的に設けられた前記プラスチックコーティングにより繊維材料へのアクセスが妨害されるという欠点を有する。従って、化粧パッドのコーティング面は、体液や洗浄液の吸収には使用できない。連続的に設けられたプラスチックコーティングは更に、使用者に不快に感じられるパッドの不撓性を生じ、また製品のエッジが非常に硬いという欠点を有する。
特許文献2は、不連続のコーティングを有する化粧パッドを開示している。このコーティングは化粧パッドに研磨性能を有する表面を付与する。該不連続コーティングは、溶融状態、特に熱溶融状態で化粧パッドの少なくとも一面に塗布されたプラスチックからなる。溶融状態で塗布されたプラスチック粒子は表面が丸いため、上記で得られる生産物は研磨性能が低いという欠点がある。更に、溶融したプラスチック粒子は、化粧パッドの繊維材料内に過剰に深く侵入する傾向がある。更に、プラスチック粒子の大きさがピーリングパッドの要求に充分に適合していないことが判明した。該公開に開示の実施例1及び2に記載されたプラスチック粒子の直径は1.28mmまたは1.36mm、高さは0.08mmまたは0.04mmである。

本発明の課題は、上記の欠点がなく、ピーリングに適した粗面を有する化粧パッドを提供することである。
上記課題は本発明に従い、繊維層を有する化粧パッドであって、その少なくとも一面に研磨材料粒子を焼結することにより形成された粗面を有することを特徴とする、該化粧パッドによって解決される。
焼結法で膜を形成した研磨材料粒子は、固定のために必要な程度を超えて繊維構造体内に侵入する傾向がない。更に、特許文献2に記載されたような“最初は溶融状態でその後固体状態”から本発明による“最初は固体状態でその後溶融状態”へ、研磨材料の状態の順序が逆転することにより、研磨材料の表面の粗さを正確に調節すること、特に粗さを増大することが可能となる。従来技術と異なり、上記焼結プロセスではプラスチックの完全な溶融は必要ではなく、プラスチック粒子は表面だけが溶融する。研磨材料が溶融性熱可塑性接着剤粉末によって形成されているかまたは溶融性接着剤粉末に導入されていると有利である。
溶融性接着剤粉末は粉末状成分として、例えば精密散布器と振動篩を用いて、後に綿パッドを形成する不織繊維材料の一面に導入され、そこで熱によって固定される。該粉末は好ましくは、自動充填されるホッパーから、ドクターブレードを用いて、ニードルローラとして形成された散布ローラの中間室内に供給される。該材料は、ブラシかけシステム、例えば振動するニードルベルトまたは振動ブラシまたはブラシかけローラを用いて、散布ローラの中間室からブラシがけされ、その下を通過する、後に綿パッドを形成する不織繊維担体材料に均一に分配される。
型板(テンプレート)技術を使用すると有利である。この技術によって、異なるデザインやパターンを異なる色で形成することができる。溶融性接着剤粉末は好ましくはスクリューコンベヤを経て回転する篩、型板に供給され、好ましくは二重ドクターブレードを用いてテンプレートを通ってその下を通過する担体材料上にすき落とされる。一定の多色パターンを繰り返して作成するために、多数のテンプレートが並べて配置される。
熱による結合工程は、対流熱伝達を用いて行われる炉内での焼結プロセスによることが好ましい。赤外線焼結装置を用いた赤外線照射も使用可能である。この場合、研磨材料は溶融しないで、粒子の表面だけが溶融することにより、焼結プロセスの間に粒子が粗面構造を形成する粒子形状を充分に維持し、場合によっては互いに連結した状態で、綿パッドに結合する。
前記溶融性接着剤粉末として有利に用い得るポリエチレンとしては、融点の範囲が100〜114°CのLDPE、および/または、融点の範囲が110〜127°Cのポリアミド(好ましくはコポリアミド)、および/または、融点の範囲が105〜115°Cのポリエステル(好ましくはコポリエステル)を含んでいる。溶融性接着剤粉末は1〜500μm、好ましくは1〜100μm、特に好ましくは1〜65μmの粒度を有する。その際、研磨材料が5〜50g/m2、好ましくは10〜40g/m2、特に好ましくは15〜30g/m2の単位面積当たりの重量で適用されていると合目的で有用であることが判った。粉末は無色でもよいし、着色されていてもよい。
本発明の特に好適な実施態様では、焼結される研磨材料の粒子が50〜400μm、好ましくは100〜350μm、特に好ましくは150〜300μmの直径を有する。この直径は、化粧パッドの平面上に投影される研磨材料粒子の最大長さであると理解される。

本発明の特に有利な実施態様では、焼結された研磨材料粒子の直径と高さの比が10:1未満、好ましくは7:1未満、特に好ましくは3:1未満、更に好ましくは1.5:1未満である。
焼結された研磨材料粒子の上記の大きさは、快適に感じられる効果的なピーリング作用をもたらす目的に特に適している。
焼結技術により、化粧パッドの研磨材料の大きさを上記の範囲内にすることができる。というのは、上記のように、焼結プロセスでは粒子の表面だけを軽く溶融するからである。化粧パッドの繊維層は100重量%まで木綿繊維によって構成することができる。
有利な実施態様では、化粧パッドは少なくとも7mmの長さの微小ステープルファイバーを有することが好ましい。
ここで、微小ステープルファイバーとは、1dtex以下の繊維太さの合成繊維であると定義される。従って「微小ステープルファイバー」の用語は、綿パッドの不織繊維層を製造するために、前もって別個の製造方法で形成された、所定の長さまたは所定の長さ範囲の微小繊維が使用されることを表している。合成の微小ステープルファイバーが綿パッドに大きな柔軟性を付与し、それに伴い使用者がすぐれた感触を得ることが判った。驚くべきことに、この柔らかな感触によって清掃作用または化粧落とし作用が低下することはなく、それとは反対に、好ましくは少なくとも7mmの長さの合成微小ステープルファイバーを有するかまたはこの微小ステープルファイバーからなる本発明による綿パッドは、優れた清掃作用および化粧落とし作用を有する。
上記の効果向上は、微小ステープルファイバーが細く、清掃すべき皮膚表面に接触する表面積が大きいためであると考えられる。この大きな表面積は、汚れ、剥がれた皮膚片または化粧品を受容可能な、莫大な数の微小隙間および微小開口を画成する。
使用可能な微小ステープルファイバーの繊維長さは好ましくは10〜38mm、特に15〜32mmである。
本発明の他の実施態様では、微小ステープルファイバーはポリエステル(PES)またはビスコース繊維を含有し得る。微小ステープルファイバーの表面は親水性であることが好ましい。綿パッドの一方の表面または複数の表面はエンボス状パターンを備えていてもよい。このような場合、エンボス状パターンは公知のように、例えばカレンダーエンボシングによって、あるいは欧州特許出願公開第1106723号明細書または国際出願公開第99/25318号パンフレットに開示されているように、ウォータージェットニードル加工によって形成可能である。エンボス状パターンの形成と同時に、不織材料の強度向上も可能である。熱溶融可能なバインダー繊維の添加によって、または、例えばポリアクリレート、ポリビニルアセテート、ポリビニルアルコール、ラテックス等の水性のポリマー分散剤のような化学的な結合剤の添加によって、あるいは溶剤またはポリウレタンまたは散布接着剤/溶融性接着剤粉末をベースとした結合剤の添加によって、不織材料の強度向上を実施し得る。この散布接着剤/溶融性接着剤粉末は例えばポリアミド、ポリエチレン、エチレンビニルアセテート、ポリウレタンまたはポリエステルからなる。
本発明による化粧パッドの単位面積当たりの重量は好ましくは40〜300g/m2、より好ましくは60〜250g/m2、更に好ましくは120〜250g/m2、とりわけ好ましくは150〜250g/m2である。
特に、微小繊維を含む化粧用パッドを、液体を吸収する用途、すなわち例えば顔の洗浄に用いる溶液を吸収する用途に適するように、あるいは液体割合の高い化粧落とし剤を用いて化粧を落とす用途に適するように、化粧用綿パッドを形成する際には、該パッドが72重量%以下、好ましくは15〜65重量%、更に好ましくは50〜65重量%の木綿繊維を付加的に含んでいると有利であることが判った。この場合、木綿すきくずを好適に使用し得る。該パッドは柔軟剤を少なくとも0.2重量%有する木綿繊維を含んでいてもよい。この柔軟剤は脂肪酸縮合物および/または機能的なポリジメチルシロキサンおよび/またはポリエチレンを含んでいてもよい。
更に、本発明の化粧パッドの内部強度は、該パッドに熱強度を付与するために使用される熱溶融可能なバインダー繊維を好ましくは10〜20重量%付加的に含むことにより有利に向上することが判った。該熱溶融可能バインダー繊維の割合は綿パッドの質量に対して好ましくは12〜18重量%、特に好ましくは12〜15重量%である。
本発明の他の実施態様では、バインダー繊維が多成分繊維、特に、融点の高い担体成分と融点の低い成分と有する二成分繊維であってもよい。
多成分繊維、特に二成分繊維は、好ましくは1.3〜10dtex、より好ましくは1.3〜3.0dtexの繊維太さと、3〜60mmの繊維長さを有する。コア/鞘構造を有する繊維またはサイド−バイ−サイド構造を有する繊維を使用することが好ましい。
低い溶融温度の成分としてのコポリエステル(CO-PES)と、高い溶融温度の成分としてのポリエステル(PES)を含有する二成分繊維が使用されると有利であることが判った。
本発明の他の重要な実施態様では、熱溶融可能なバインダー繊維または融点の低い多成分繊維の成分(CO-PES)の融点が、微小ステープルファイバーの融点よりも低い。例えば約256℃の融点を有するポリエステル材料と、融点が110℃である低融点成分CO-PES及び融点が255℃である高融点成分PESとからなるCO-PES/PES二成分繊維からなる微小ステープルファイバーが使用される。このような場合、二成分繊維または微小ステープルファイバーの高融点成分を熱的に変化させずに、不織繊維の熱的強度向上が行われる。
本発明の不織パッドは、5〜30N/25mm、特に10〜25N/25mm、好ましくは15N/25mmよりも大きな縦方向強度または縦方向(機械方向)の最大引張り力と、5〜30N/25mm、特に8〜20N/25mm、好ましくは10N/25mmよりも大きな横方向(機械方向に対して垂直方向)の最大引張り力を有するように圧縮されていることが好ましい。この最大引張り力はDIN51221の規定による標準引張り試験機を使用して次の試験方法で測定可能である。被験綿パッドの中央範囲から、25mmのグリップ幅と、30mmのグリップ長さの試料を採取する。規定の引張り試験機の挟持取付け部内に垂直に固定された試料は、その平面内で100mm/分の試験速度で引っ張られ、この方向に作用する引張り力が測定される。最大引張り力とは、綿パッドが引き裂かれるときの最大の力である。膨張の途中でより高い強度ピークが測定されると、この強度ピークが該試験における最大引張り力に相当する。機械方向またはこの機械方向に対して横方向に相当する縦方向と横方向の測定の際、異なる複数の単一測定、特に個別の測定を5回行い、その平均を求めると有利である。
本発明による綿パッドは更に、好ましくは0.5〜4.5mmの厚さを有する。この厚さは0.5kPa の特定の測定圧力下で25cm2の試料面積を有する試験試料を用いて測定された。試験方法はDIN EN ISO 9073-2(不織材料の試験方法、厚さの測定) に一致している。
更に、本発明のパッドの吸収能力は、PH.EUR.1977,専攻論文“木綿製の包帯用脱脂綿”に従い、試験すべき試験体を充填した小さな金網籠を液体に沈める時間を測定することにより測定可能である。該試験に使用される小さな金網籠は、0.4mmの直径を有する銅線からなる円筒状の籠であり、その高さは80mm、直径は50mm、メッシュサイズは15〜20mm、質量は2.7±0.3gである。更に、11〜12cmの直径を有するビーカーが使用される。
5gの被験パッド材料を金網籠に挿入する。それに先立って、該籠を0.01gまで正確に計量しておく(M1)。試料材料の重量5gは質量M2に該当する。前記ビーカーに約100mmの高さまで純水を充填し、試料材料の充填された該籠を10mmの高さから該水に落下させる。水面の下に沈むまでの時間がストップウォッチで測定される。沈んだ時間を測定した直後、該籠を水から持ち上げ、滴下のために縦軸線を水平にして30秒間保持される。滴下時間が経過した後で、該籠を風袋測定ビーカに入れ、0.01gまで正確に計量する(M4)。
保水能力は、
g/g=〔M4−(M2+M3)〕/(M2−M1)
で表される。
沈む時間と保水能力は、3回の測定の平均値として求められる。パッドは、沈む時間が最大で15秒であり、保水能力が少なくとも10g/gであることが好ましい。これは吸収繊維の割合および/または親水化剤の追加によって達成可能である。
理解されるように、本発明による化粧パッドは任意の大きさと形状を有することができる。例としては円形、長円形、正方形および長方形が考えられる。
本発明の他の特徴、詳細および効果は、添付の特許請求の範囲と、図面と、本発明の好ましい実施の形態の次の説明とから導かれ得る。
図1は本発明による化粧パッドの斜視図である。図2は図1に示す化粧パッドの断面図である。該パッドは主に木綿繊維11を含有する不織材料の塊からなる。該綿パッドの一面には、粉末状の熱可塑性研磨材料が分布しており、焼結法で該綿パッド上に固定される。
使用される研磨材料粉末の大きさは50〜300μmである。研磨材料粉末は10〜40g/m2適用される。研磨材料粉末は無色でもよいし、着色されていてもよい。
研磨材料は好ましくは110〜127℃の融点範囲を有するコポリアミドを含有する。
図3に概略的に示すように、研磨材料粒子10は繊維表面に固定されているが、不織材料繊維内に深く侵入してはいない。これにより、該研磨材料粒子はパッドの所望の用途においてピーリング効果を制限なく生じることができる。
粒子の外側表面自体は焼結プロセス中の溶融によりやや丸められた角およびエッジを備えているので、皮膚に強い負荷や刺激を与える惧れがない。
研磨材料粒子の間の繊維表面に自由にアクセス可能であるので、研磨材料を備えた表面であっても洗浄液または体液の吸収に使用できる。
図4は本発明の他の実施の形態を示している。研磨材料粉末10は綿パッドの一面に縞模様のパターンで分布している。

Claims (22)

  1. 皮膚の清掃、特にピーリングに適した、繊維層を有する化粧パッドであって、研磨材料粒子を該化粧パッドの少なくとも一面に焼結することにより形成された粗面を有することを特徴とする、該化粧パッド。
  2. 前記研磨材料が、ポリアミド、ポリエチレン、及び/又はポリエステルを含有する溶融性熱可塑性接着剤粉末を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1記載の化粧パッド。
  3. 前記焼結された研磨材料の粒子の直径が50〜400μm、特に100〜350μm、とりわけ150〜300μmの範囲にあることを特徴とする、請求項1または2記載の化粧パッド。
  4. 前記焼結された研磨材料の粒子の、化粧パッドの繊維層の平面に対して垂直な高さが、50〜400μm、特に100〜350μm、とりわけ150〜300μmの範囲にあることを特徴とする、請求項1,2または3記載の化粧パッド。
  5. 前記研磨材料が単位面積当たり5〜50g/m2、特に10〜40g/m2、とりわけ15〜30g/m2の範囲で適用されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一つまたは複数に記載の化粧パッド。
  6. 前記繊維層が不織材料を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一つまたは複数に記載の化粧パッド。
  7. 前記繊維層が合成微小ステープルファイバーを含むか、または合成微小ステープルファイバーからなること、特に該合成微小ステープルファイバーが少なくとも7mmの長さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか一つまたは複数に記載の化粧パッド。
  8. 前記微小ステープルファイバーがポリエステル(PES)繊維またはビスコース繊維であることを特徴とする、請求項7記載の化粧パッド。
  9. 単位面積当たりの重量が40〜300g/m2、特に60〜250g/m2、とりわけ120〜250g/m2、好ましくは150〜250g/m2であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか一つまたは複数に記載の化粧パッド。
  10. 前記微小ステープルファイバーの割合が15〜85重量%、特に15〜65重量%、とりわけ20〜30重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか一つまたは複数に記載の化粧パッド。
  11. 72重量%以下、特に15〜65重量%、とりわけ50〜65重量%の木綿繊維を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜10のいずれか一つまたは複数に記載の化粧パッド。
  12. 前記木綿繊維が木綿すきくずであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜11のいずれか一つまたは複数に記載の化粧パッド。
  13. 熱溶融可能なバインダー繊維を、10〜20重量%、特に12〜18重量%、とりわけ12〜15重量%の重量%割合で、更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜12のいずれか一つまたは複数に記載の化粧パッド。
  14. 前記バインダー繊維が多成分繊維、特に二成分繊維であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜13のいずれか一つまたは複数に記載の化粧パッド。
  15. 前記多成分繊維の繊維太さが1.3〜10dtex、特に1.3〜3.0dtexの繊維太さであり、繊維長さが3〜60mmであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜14のいずれか一つまたは複数に記載の化粧パッド。
  16. 前記二成分繊維がコポリエステル(CO-PES)及びポリエステル(PES)からなる二成分繊維であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜15のいずれか一つまたは複数に記載の化粧パッド。
  17. 前記熱溶融可能なバインダー繊維の融点、または、前記多成分繊維の低い温度で溶融する成分の融点が、前記微小ステープルファイバーの融点よりも低いことを特徴とする、請求項1〜16のいずれか一つに記載の化粧パッド。
  18. 皮膚の清掃および/または化粧落としを目的とする、請求項1〜17のいずれか一つに記載の化粧パッドの使用。
  19. 繊維層を準備する工程、
    溶融性接着剤粉末粒子を該繊維層の一面に適用する工程、及び
    熱によって該粒子を繊維層に結合させる工程
    を含むことを特徴とする、粗面を有する化粧パッドの製造方法。
  20. 前記溶融性接着剤粉末粒子が、前記繊維層の一面に実質的に均一に分布していることを特徴とする、請求項19記載の方法。
  21. 前記溶融性接着剤粉末粒子が、前記繊維層の一面にテンプレートの使用によって不均一に分布していることを特徴とする、請求項19記載の方法。
  22. 前記熱によって前記粒子を前記繊維層に結合させる工程が、高温の空気または赤外線を用いて行われることを特徴とする、請求項19,20または21記載の方法。
