Claims (7)
- 帯、シート、ワイヤー、又は棒のように、素材、パイプ、チューブ、帯、又はワイヤー状の材料形態のステンレス鋼を、それら材料を圧延した後、約900℃より高い温度で熱処理炉中で熱処理する方法において、予熱段階(1)及び最終加熱段階(2)を有し、前記予熱段階ではバーナー(4)からの炎(5)を材料(6)の表面の方へ向け、前記材料(6)の表面に衝突させ、前記予熱段階(1)に配置されたバーナーを液体又はガス状燃料により作動させ、ガス状酸素を含有する酸化用ガスを利用してその燃料を燃焼させ、前記予熱段階(1)中で、前記材料(6)を、前記材料(6)の表面に少なくとも或る程度の酸化を起こさせるのに充分長く保持し、前記材料(6)を、続く最終加熱段階(2)中で、液体又はガス状燃料及び酸化用ガスにより作動させる炉内配置バーナーにより更に加熱することを特徴とする熱処理方法。
- 予熱段階(1)中の酸化用ガスが、少なくとも85体積%の酸素を含むようにさせる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 最終加熱段階(2)中の酸化用ガスが、少なくとも85体積%の酸素を含むようにさせる、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 予熱段階で、150〜1000℃の温度へ材料(6)を加熱する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 予熱段階(1)で、材料(6)を0.1〜60秒の時間保持する、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 炎(5)を二つの方向に向け、材料(6)の両面に衝突するようにする、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 最終加熱段階(2)で、材料(6)を1300℃までの温度へ持って行く、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
