Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a dust collector capable of removing airborne particulate matter in the field of air purification.
Particulate suspended matter in the air, that is, dust, has been known as a cause of illnesses such as asthma and has been a target for removal in the past, but in recent studies, the particle size is 2.5 micrometers or less. There is a report that dust (so-called PM2.5) may induce diseases such as lung cancer, and further improvement of the collection technology is required. Among them, dust collectors that use electrostatic precipitating technology are excellent at collecting small particles with a particle size of micrometer or less, and have a low-pressure loss characteristic. There is a need for improved performance.
Conventionally, as this kind of dust collector, an ionization means for charging dust by discharge is provided in the previous stage, electrodes are stacked, and different voltages are applied alternately to form an electric field to collect charged dust. What you have is known. As an example in which this configuration is applied,
In such a dust collector of the conventional dust collector, the problem is that dust collection efficiency is lowered particularly at high humidity by collecting cigarette dust and forming a conductive film on the collecting surface. Therefore, it is required not to form a conductive film on the collection surface.
Further, there is a problem that a potential difference cannot be obtained when electrodes to which different voltages are applied are electrically short-circuited in the dust collecting portion, and a structure that maintains the potential difference between the electrodes is required.
Further, in the dust collector, when the ventilation body and the electrode are alternately laminated, if the position of the electrode placed on the surface of the ventilation body is non-uniform, the leakage current flowing through the surface of the ventilation body becomes large. Or there exists a subject that dust collection performance falls by short-circuiting, without obtaining a potential difference, and it is requested | required that the position of the electrode and ventilation body at the time of lamination | stacking may be made uniform.
In addition, in the dust collection part, there is a problem in that the leakage current flows between the electrodes to which different voltages are applied through the surface of the ventilation body, thereby disturbing the electric field and reducing the dust collection efficiency. It is required to suppress this.
In addition, in the dust collecting part, there is a problem that strength cannot be obtained unless each of the ventilator and the electrode is laminated, and when the ventilator and the electrode are laminated, each is adhered. It is requested.
The present invention solves such a conventional problem, and can obtain a stable dust collection performance even when the discharge current in the ionization means is small even when the humidity and the dust collection section are dirty. An object of the present invention is to provide a dust collector capable of achieving high dust collection performance without impairing the flatness of the electrode and an air conditioner equipped with the dust collector.
In order to achieve the above object, the dust collector of the present invention sandwiches a ventilation body having a ventilation path formed of a wall surface parallel to the ventilation direction between a pair of electrodes, and applies different voltages to the pair of electrodes. A dust collector that can reduce the leakage current flowing through the surface of the ventilation body is obtained.
The dust collector according to claim 7 or 8, wherein a laminate of an electrode plate and a ventilator is dipped in the silicon polymer solution and dried.
This means that the conductive film is not formed by the non-continuous adhesion of solids, oil, and moisture contained in tobacco dust to the surface to which dust adheres. It is possible to obtain a dust collector capable of simultaneously reducing the leakage current flowing through the surface of the ventilation body and bonding the laminated surface of the ventilation body and the electrode.

The dust collector according to any one of
By this means, a dust collector capable of improving the dust collection performance with a small discharge current can be obtained.

An air conditioner according to the present invention includes the dust collector according to any one of
By this means, an air conditioner having a high performance and a stable air purifying function with no performance deterioration can be obtained simultaneously with the air conditioning function.
According to the present invention, the formation of a conductive film is suppressed even in a harsh situation for a device with high humidity and the dust collecting part is dirty, the surface potential is prevented from being lowered, and the electric field in the space through which dust passes is impaired. Therefore, it is possible to provide a dust collector and an air conditioner that have an effect of stably obtaining high dust collection performance.
The dust collector of the present invention is a dust collector where a ventilator having a ventilation path formed by a wall surface parallel to the ventilation direction is sandwiched between a pair of electrodes, and different voltages are applied to the pair of electrodes. The surface to which dust adheres has water repellency and insulation. Tobacco components contain a solid content such as carbon, a water-soluble oil such as tar, and water. If these components adhere to the surface of the dust collection part, a conductive film will be formed, especially in high humidity conditions, and the resistivity of the surface of the dust collection part will decrease and the movement of charges present on the surface will be reduced. As a result, the surface potential is lowered and the electric field in the space through which the dust passes is weakened. This weakening of the electric field causes a decrease in dust collection performance. The present invention mainly aims to prevent tobacco components from adhering to the surface of the dust collecting part to form a conductive film, such as the surface of the ventilation path, the end face of the ventilation body, or the laminated interface of the ventilation body. In addition, a part or the whole of the surface of the dust collecting portion where the dust adheres has water repellency and insulating properties. In particular, by using a material with water repellency and insulation, such as fluororesin, for the ventilation body, the formation of a conductive film is suppressed by causing tobacco components to adhere to the surface of the ventilation body in a discontinuous manner. can do. In particular, even when the humidity is high, the surface potential is not lowered, so that the electric field in the space through which dust passes is not impaired and high dust collection performance can be obtained stably.
Further, the ventilator is insulative. If the material of the ventilation body is conductive, it is impossible to obtain a potential difference by causing an electrical short circuit between electrodes to which different voltages are applied across the ventilation body. By using an insulating ceramic material or the like as the material of the ventilation body, there is an effect that an electrical short circuit does not occur between the electrodes and a stable potential difference can be obtained.
The ventilator is an insulating resin. Resins such as polypropylene are inexpensive and have good processability and stable insulation. By using such a resin as a material for the ventilator, there is an effect that an electrical short circuit does not occur between the electrodes and a stable potential difference can be obtained.
The ventilator has a structure in which a ventilator provided with an electrode is laminated on either the upper surface or the lower surface. In order to prevent an electrical short circuit, the electrodes are laminated so that the air inflow side and the air outflow side have dimensions below the ventilation body in the ventilation direction. However, if the positions of the ventilation body and the electrode are not uniform in each lamination Cause an electrical short circuit. By stacking a large number of ventilators with the same electrodes on either the upper or lower surface, and making the positions of the ventilator and the electrodes uniform for each stack, electrical shorting between the electrodes is prevented at the same time. It has the effect that uniform dust collection performance can be obtained in any part of the dust collection part. The electrode is characterized in that a conductive paint is applied or printed on the surface of the ventilation body. It is. By providing conductive paint on the surface of the electrode by silkscreen or pad printing printing or mask coating, etc., it is possible to obtain a uniform and large amount of ventilator with the electrode provided on the surface. An electrical short circuit between the electrodes is prevented, and at the same time, uniform dust collection performance can be obtained in any part of the dust collection unit.
Further, the surface of the ventilation body is subjected to a treatment for giving a reactive group. When an olefin-based resin such as polypropylene or polyethylene is used as a material for the ventilation body, it is inactive because there is no reactive group on the surface. Therefore, the adhesion of the conductive paint used as the electrode material cannot be obtained, so that the painted or printed electrode is easily peeled off, and the adhesion at the laminated interface of the ventilation body is low. By applying corona discharge treatment to the inert surface in this way, the surface is oxidized and becomes reactive, and the adhesion of the electrode to the surface of the ventilator and the adhesion of the ventilator and the laminated interface of the electrode are improved. It has the effect that it can be increased.
In addition, the surface of the ventilation path of the ventilation body, the end face of the ventilation body, or the surface of the dust collection part, such as the laminated interface of the ventilation body, is coated with a material having water repellency and insulation on part or all of the surface. It is what. By coating such a material, it is possible to impart water repellency and insulation to the surface of the dust collecting part where the dust adheres. By making it adhere, formation of a conductive film can be suppressed. And especially in the case of high humidity, it is possible to obtain a stable and high dust collection performance easily and inexpensively without impairing the electric field in the space through which dust passes by preventing the surface potential from decreasing. Have.
In addition, the entire material including the laminated interface of the ventilation body and the electrode is coated with the material having water repellency and insulation. Leakage current is generated between the electrodes to which different voltages are applied via the interface of the laminated portion of the ventilation body sandwiched between the electrodes, and the electric field is disturbed to reduce the dust collection performance. In particular, when dust enters the laminated interface, the resistivity of the surface of the ventilation body at the laminated interface decreases, and the leakage current tends to increase. By coating the entire dust collection part including the dust-adhering surface and the laminated interface with a material having water repellency and insulation, it is possible to impart water repellency and insulation only to the surface to which dust adheres. The formation of a conductive film can be suppressed by causing the tobacco component to adhere locally to the surface to which the material adheres, and discontinuously. In particular, even when the humidity is high, the surface potential is not lowered, so that the electric field in the space through which dust passes is not impaired, and at the same time, insulation between electrodes to which different voltages are applied is ensured to prevent leakage current. Since the electric field is not disturbed by suppressing the increase, it has the effect that stable and high dust collection performance can be obtained easily and inexpensively.
Further, the material having water repellency and insulation is a silicon polymer. A silicon polymer containing siloxane as a main component is a material having both water repellency and high insulating properties. By using silicon polymer as the water-repellent and insulating material that coats the dust collection part, the electric field in the space through which dust passes is not impaired by not causing a decrease in the surface potential, and at the same time between electrodes to which different voltages are applied. Therefore, it is possible to obtain stable and high dust collection performance easily and inexpensively because the electric field is not disturbed by securing the insulation and suppressing the increase of the leakage current.
In addition, a laminate of an electrode and a ventilator is dipped in the silicon polymer solution and dried. Silicone polymer has adhesiveness as well as the above properties, and viscosity can be adjusted by mixing with silicone oil or organic solvent. It is possible to coat the entire surface of the dust collecting part and bond the laminated interface between the electrode and the ventilator by immersing the electrode and ventilator in a laminated state in a silicon polymer solution and drying it. . By this method, the electric field in the space through which dust passes is not impaired by preventing the surface potential from decreasing, and the insulation between the electrodes to which different voltages are applied is ensured to increase the leakage current. It is possible to suppress the electric field and prevent the electric field from being disturbed, and to bond the laminated interface at the same time, and it is possible to easily and inexpensively obtain a dust collecting portion having a stable high dust collecting performance and high strength. It has the action.
Further, an organic solvent having a small polarity is used as the solvent for the silicon polymer solution. Silicon polymers have a certain solubility in any organic solvents such as ketones and alcohols, but are highly soluble in organic solvents with a low polarity due to their relatively non-polar molecular structure. It has the nature of Examples of the organic solvent having a small polarity include aromatic solvents such as toluene and hydrocarbon solvents such as hexane. By using such a low-polarity organic solvent as the solvent for the silicon polymer, it is possible to improve the solubility and dispersibility of the silicon polymer, improve the storage stability of the solution and simultaneously coat the entire dust collecting part. Has an effect.
In addition, ionization means for ionizing air to charge the dust is provided on the windward side of the dust collection unit. It has an effect that the dust collecting performance can be improved by charging the dust by attaching air ions obtained by using the ionization phenomenon caused by the discharge and sending the charged dust to the dust collecting portion.
In addition, an ionization means for ionizing air to charge the dust is provided at the outlet of the dust collector equipped with the dust collector and the blower. The air ions obtained by using the ionization phenomenon caused by the discharge are supplied to the room from the outlet to charge the dust present in the room. Thus, it has the effect | action that dust collection performance can be improved because a dust collection part sucks the dust charged in the space of the room.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

The
As test conditions, the temperature and humidity of the room is 30 ° C. and 80% RH, and the
Table 1 shows the dust collection efficiency obtained by the measurement.
Table 2 shows the change in leakage current when the temperature is 30 ° C. and the humidity is 80% RH after 40 cigarettes are attached.
As shown in Table 1, both the comparative example and the example showed a high performance with a dust collection efficiency of 99% or more in a clean state where no tobacco smoke was collected. However, as the
On the other hand, in the
