Description
The present invention relates to an eye drop containing pranoprofen which is unstable to light, and more specifically, an aqueous preparation containing pranoprofen is filled in a polyethylene naphthalate or polyarylate container, and The present invention relates to an ophthalmic solution that can suppress the degradation of profen and can keep pranoprofen stably practically for a long time.
Pranoprofen is useful for the symptomatic treatment of inflammatory diseases of the external and anterior eye areas such as blepharitis, conjunctivitis, keratitis, scleritis, suprasclerosis, anterior uveitis, postoperative inflammation, etc. A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent. However, pranoprofen is unstable to light and has a problem that it is difficult to keep it stable in an aqueous solution for a long time (see Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2).
In general, eye drops containers are often made of resin terephthalate, polyethylene, polypropylene, polycarbonate, etc., from the viewpoint of flowability, handling, safety, etc. When an aqueous preparation containing an unstable component is filled, store it in a dark place or protect it with a highly light-shielding bag to ensure the stability of the unstable component against light. There is a need.

[Test example]
The eye drops of Examples and Comparative Examples were irradiated with light under a white fluorescent lamp (2500 lux) until the accumulated illuminance reached 1.2 million lux / hour, and pranoprofen in the contents liquid was subjected to reverse phase distribution high-performance liquid chromatography. The residual rate was calculated from the following formula.
Residual rate (%) = Ws / Wo × 100
Ws; pranoprofen content after storage Wo; pranoprofen content immediately after production. Also, when the residual ratio of pranoprofen is 95% or more, ◎, 85% or more and less than 95%, ○, 40% or more 85 The stability was evaluated with Δ as less than% and × as less than 40%.
The stability of the eye drop is preferably ◯, particularly preferably ◎. Δ and × cannot stabilize pranoprofen against light, and are not suitable as the stability of eye drops. In particular, “x” is not suitable because of extremely poor stability.

As is clear from Tables 1 and 2, the containers made of polyethylene naphthalate, the containers made of polyarylate, containers made of polyethylene naphthalate, or containers made of polyarylate are part of the material of Examples 1 to 15. The ophthalmic solution filled in any of the above was superior in the stability of pranoprofen to light as compared with the ophthalmic solution filled in a container not made of these materials of Comparative Examples 1 to 15. In particular, the stability of pranoprofen of Comparative Example 1, Comparative Example 2, Comparative Example 3, Comparative Example 3, Comparative Example 6 and Comparative Example 14 containing a nonionic surfactant was extremely poor, whereas Examples 1 and 2 The stability of pranoprofen of Examples 3, 6 and 14 was greatly improved.
