Abstract
Description
本発明は、電子写真複写機、プリンター等に用いられる現像ロールに関するものである。 The present invention relates to a developing roll used for an electrophotographic copying machine, a printer, and the like.
In general, copying by an electrophotographic copying machine is performed as follows. That is, a document image is formed as an electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive drum that rotates about the axis, and toner is attached to the image to form a toner image. Then, copying is performed by transferring the toner image onto a copy sheet. In this case, in order to form an electrostatic latent image on the surface of the photosensitive drum, the surface of the photosensitive drum is charged in advance, and a document image is projected onto the charged portion via the optical system, and is exposed to light. An electrostatic latent image is formed by canceling the charging of the portion. As a method for charging the surface of the photosensitive drum prior to the formation of the electrostatic latent image, recently, a roll charging method for charging the surface of the photosensitive drum by directly contacting the charging roll with the surface of the photosensitive drum has been adopted. . Further, as a method for forming a toner image on the electrostatic latent image formed on the surface of the photosensitive drum in this way, a method using a developing roll (contact developing method) is employed. That is, toner adheres to the surface of the developing roll that has been frictionally charged, and the toner flies from the developing roll toward the electrostatic latent image on the surface of the photosensitive drum, thereby forming a toner image on the surface of the photosensitive drum. Copying is performed by fixing the toner image on the copy paper.
Examples of the developing roll include a laminated structure including a shaft body, a base rubber layer formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof, and a surface layer formed on the outer peripheral surface of the base rubber layer. The surface layer is usually formed by applying a solution of a resin such as a urethane resin, an acrylic resin, a polyamide resin, or a rubber material. When the surface layer is provided in this manner, the durability (abrasion resistance) of the roll is improved. In addition, when the surface layer material is appropriately selected according to the toner used for image output in each system, various properties required for the developing roll, such as toner transportability and toner filming resistance, can be secured. Become.
However, in the course of research, when the silicone content of the polycarbonate copolymer, which is the surface layer material, was increased in order to further improve the toner chargeability in the proposed developing roll, the tear strength of the surface layer was increased. A decrease in wear resistance was observed. From this, it has been found that there is a certain limit in improving the toner chargeability while maintaining the wear resistance with the proposed developing roll, and thus improvement is required in this respect.
本発明は、このような事情に鑑みなされたもので、トナー帯電性、トナー搬送性および耐トナーフィルミング性に優れるとともに、耐摩耗性に優れ、良好な画像特性を長期間提供することのできる現像ロールの提供をその目的とする。 The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and is excellent in toner chargeability, toner transportability and toner filming resistance, and is excellent in abrasion resistance and can provide good image characteristics for a long period of time. The purpose is to provide a developing roll.

That is, the present inventors have intensively studied to solve the above problems. In the course of the research, as a result of further research focusing on the surface layer of the proposed developing roll, rubber elastic particles having a specific particle size were dispersed in the surface layer material. It was ascertained that the decrease in wear resistance observed when the silicone content of the special polycarbonate copolymer (α) was increased was significantly improved. In addition, it has been found that the rubber elastic particles can set the roll surface to a predetermined roughness and can provide good toner transportability, so that it is possible to maintain good image characteristics. Reached.
以上のように、本発明の現像ロールは、その表層が、特定の粒径を有するゴム弾性粒子(β)を含有する、前記特定のポリカーボネート共重合体(α)を用いて形成されている。そのため、本発明の現像ロールは、耐トナーフィルミング性、トナー帯電性に優れるとともに、優れた耐摩耗性およびトナー搬送性も有する。このことから、良好な画像特性の維持を実現することができる。 As described above, the developing roll of the present invention is formed using the specific polycarbonate copolymer (α) whose surface layer contains rubber elastic particles (β) having a specific particle size. Therefore, the developing roll of the present invention is excellent in toner filming resistance and toner chargeability, and also has excellent wear resistance and toner transportability. From this, it is possible to maintain good image characteristics.
特に、上記ポリカーボネート共重合体(α)のシリコーン含有量が特定の範囲内であると、ロールのトナー帯電性がより優れるようになる。 In particular, when the silicone content of the polycarbonate copolymer (α) is within a specific range, the toner chargeability of the roll becomes more excellent.
また、上記ゴム弾性粒子(β)が、ウレタンゴム粒子、シリコーンゴム粒子、アクリルゴム粒子等であると、ロールの耐摩耗性がより優れるようになる。 Further, when the rubber elastic particles (β) are urethane rubber particles, silicone rubber particles, acrylic rubber particles, or the like, the wear resistance of the roll becomes more excellent.
さらに、上記ゴム弾性粒子(β)の平均粒径が、特定の範囲に設定されていると、ロール表面を所定の粗さに設定することができ、良好なトナー搬送性の付与が実現する。 Furthermore, when the average particle diameter of the rubber elastic particles (β) is set within a specific range, the roll surface can be set to a predetermined roughness, and good toner transportability can be imparted.
また、上記表層用組成物におけるゴム弾性粒子(β)の含有割合が、上記ポリカーボネート共重合体(α)に対し特定の範囲に設定されていると、耐摩耗性やトナー搬送性の向上効果において、より優れるようになる。 In addition, when the content ratio of the rubber elastic particles (β) in the surface layer composition is set in a specific range with respect to the polycarbonate copolymer (α), the effect of improving the wear resistance and toner transportability can be obtained. , Get better.
つぎに、本発明の実施の形態を説明する。 Next, an embodiment of the present invention will be described.
本発明の現像ロールとしては、例えば、図1に示すように、円筒状スリーブ12とその両端を塞ぐエンドキャップ13からなる導電性軸体14の外周に沿ってベースゴム層21が形成され、その外周面に中間層22が形成され、さらにその外周面に表層23が形成された構造をとるものがあげられる。 As the developing roll of the present invention, for example, as shown in FIG. 1, a base rubber layer 21 is formed along the outer periphery of a conductive shaft body 14 including a cylindrical sleeve 12 and an end cap 13 that closes both ends thereof. Examples include a structure in which the intermediate layer 22 is formed on the outer peripheral surface and the surface layer 23 is further formed on the outer peripheral surface.
上記導電性軸体14は、従来公知のどのようなものを使用しても差し支えない。例えば、図1に示す内部が中空の金属製円筒体以外に、金属製の中実体からなる芯金を用いてもよい。そして、その金属材料としては、アルミニウム、ステンレス等があげられる。 The conductive shaft body 14 may be any conventionally known one. For example, a metal core made of a solid metal may be used in addition to the hollow metal cylinder shown in FIG. Examples of the metal material include aluminum and stainless steel.
また、上記軸体14の外周に形成されるベースゴム層21およびその外周面に形成される中間層22の形成材料も特に限定するものではなく、従来公知のどのようなものを用いてもよい。例えば、上記ベースゴム層21の形成材料としては、エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンゴム(EPDM)、スチレン−ブタジエンゴム(SBR)、シリコーンゴム、ポリウレタン系エラストマー等にカーボンブラックを配合したものがあげられる。 The material for forming the base rubber layer 21 formed on the outer periphery of the shaft body 14 and the intermediate layer 22 formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof is not particularly limited, and any conventionally known material may be used. . For example, as a material for forming the base rubber layer 21, there may be mentioned a material in which carbon black is blended with ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), silicone rubber, polyurethane elastomer or the like.
Examples of the material for forming the intermediate layer 22 include EPDM, SBR, nitrile rubber, hydrogenated nitrile rubber, polyurethane elastomer, polyester, N-methoxymethylated nylon, carbon black, metal oxide, quaternary ammonium, and the like. The thing which mix | blended electrically conductive agents, such as a salt, borate, a lithium perchlorate, is mention | raise | lifted. And the conventionally well-known method is applied also for the preparation method of each formation material of the said base rubber layer 21 and the intermediate | middle layer 22. FIG. Taking this example, first, the forming material (compound) of the base rubber layer 21 can be prepared by kneading the above components with a kneader such as a kneader. The material for forming the intermediate layer 22 (coating liquid) can be prepared by kneading the above components with a ball mill, a roll, or the like, adding a solvent to the mixture, and mixing and stirring.
上記中間層22の外周面に形成される表層23は、特定の粒径を有するゴム弾性粒子(β)を含有する特殊な高分子材料を用いて形成される。 The surface layer 23 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the intermediate layer 22 is formed using a special polymer material containing rubber elastic particles (β) having a specific particle size.
上記特殊な高分子材料は、下記の一般式(A)で表される繰り返し単位(A)と、下記の一般式(B)で表される繰り返し単位(B)と、下記の一般式(C)で表される繰り返し単位(C)とからなるポリカーボネート共重合体(α)を必須成分としており、このポリカーボネート共重合体は、トナー非付着性を備えている。 The special polymer material includes a repeating unit (A) represented by the following general formula (A), a repeating unit (B) represented by the following general formula (B), and the following general formula (C The polycarbonate copolymer (α) consisting of the repeating unit (C) represented by the formula (II) is an essential component, and this polycarbonate copolymer has toner non-adhesiveness.
そして、上記繰り返し単位(A)と繰り返し単位(B)と繰り返し単位(C)とからなるポリカーボネート共重合体(α)において、上記繰り返し単位(A)と繰り返し単位(B)と繰り返し単位(C)の各含有割合が、下記の式(1)、式(2)および式(3)の関係を全て満たさなければならない。 In the polycarbonate copolymer (α) comprising the repeating unit (A), the repeating unit (B), and the repeating unit (C), the repeating unit (A), the repeating unit (B), and the repeating unit (C). Each content ratio must satisfy all the relationships of the following formulas (1), (2), and (3).
That is, the repeating unit (A) is set in the range of 50 to 90% by weight (hereinafter abbreviated as “%”) with respect to the total weight of the repeating unit (A), the repeating unit (B), and the repeating unit (C). The Preferably it is 50 to 80%. If the content ratio of the repeating unit (A) is less than 50%, the elastic modulus of the polycarbonate copolymer (α) is too high and may adversely affect the photosensitive drum, and if it exceeds 90%, the polycarbonate copolymer (α This is because the softening temperature of) decreases and the mechanical strength of the surface layer becomes insufficient.
したがって、上記繰り返し単位(B)と繰り返し単位(C)の合計含有割合は、繰り返し単位(A)と繰り返し単位(B)と繰り返し単位(C)の合計重量に対して、10〜50%となるよう設定される。好ましくは20〜50%である。 Therefore, the total content of the repeating unit (B) and the repeating unit (C) is 10 to 50% with respect to the total weight of the repeating unit (A), the repeating unit (B), and the repeating unit (C). It is set as follows. Preferably it is 20 to 50%.
Moreover, each content rate of a repeating unit (B) and a repeating unit (C) is set to 0 to 50% with respect to the total weight of a repeating unit (A), a repeating unit (B), and a repeating unit (C), respectively. Is done. Preferably each is 5 to 35%. However, in this case, the total content of the repeating unit (B) and the repeating unit (C) is the total weight of the repeating unit (A), the repeating unit (B), and the repeating unit (C) as described above. The ratio is 10 to 50%.
上記繰り返し単位(B)と、繰り返し単位(C)の重量比は特に限定はされないが、繰り返し単位(C)の重量比を増加することにより、表層形成時に塗布する際に用いられる溶媒への溶解性の向上と、耐熱性の向上を図ることができる。 The weight ratio of the repeating unit (B) and the repeating unit (C) is not particularly limited, but by increasing the weight ratio of the repeating unit (C), it can be dissolved in a solvent used for coating during surface layer formation. It is possible to improve the heat resistance and the heat resistance.
上記ポリカーボネート共重合体(α)は、直鎖状、分岐状、環状のいずれであってもよい。また、上記ポリカーボネート共重合体(α)は、繰り返し単位(A)と繰り返し単位(B)と繰り返し単位(C)の各々を1種単独で含有してもよいし、2種以上含有してもよい。また、異なる繰り返し単位からなるポリカーボネート共重合体の混合物であってもよい。 The polycarbonate copolymer (α) may be linear, branched or cyclic. Moreover, the said polycarbonate copolymer ((alpha)) may contain each of the repeating unit (A), the repeating unit (B), and the repeating unit (C) individually by 1 type, or may contain 2 or more types. Good. Moreover, the mixture of the polycarbonate copolymer which consists of a different repeating unit may be sufficient.
そして、上記ポリカーボネート共重合体(α)におけるシリコーン含有量は、5〜80%の範囲であると好ましく、より好ましくは50〜70%である。すなわち、このような範囲でシリコーン含有量を増加させることにより、ロールのトナー帯電性がより優れるようになる。 And the silicone content in the said polycarbonate copolymer ((alpha)) is preferable in it being 5 to 80% of range, More preferably, it is 50 to 70%. That is, by increasing the silicone content within such a range, the toner chargeability of the roll becomes more excellent.
なお、上記ポリカーボネート共重合体(α)は、本発明の目的に支障のない範囲で、前記以外の他の繰り返し単位を有していてもよく、また、他のポリカーボネート成分や添加物を適宜添加、配合した混合物としてもよい。 The polycarbonate copolymer (α) may have other repeating units other than those described above as long as the object of the present invention is not hindered, and other polycarbonate components and additives are appropriately added. A blended mixture may be used.
The polycarbonate copolymer (α) used in the present invention has a reduced viscosity [η sp / c] at 20 ° C. of a solution having a concentration of 0.5 g / dl using methylene chloride as a solvent, of 0.1 to 3.0 dl. / G, preferably 0.3 to 2.0 dl / g. That is, when the reduced viscosity is less than 0.1 dl / g, the mechanical strength of the surface layer may be lowered, and when it exceeds 3.0 dl / g, the solution viscosity and the melt viscosity of the polycarbonate copolymer are increased, thereby forming the surface layer. Workability at the time may be significantly reduced.

さらに、繰り返し単位(A)中のポリシロキサン単位の重合度を表すp+qは、ポリカーボネート共重合体の組成率と密接に関連し一義的に規定することは困難であるが、一般に、200以下、好ましくは20〜50である。すなわち、p+qが200を超えると、そのポリカーボネート共重合体を用いた場合、表層の機械的強度が低下することがあるからである。 Further, p + q representing the degree of polymerization of the polysiloxane unit in the repeating unit (A) is closely related to the composition ratio of the polycarbonate copolymer and is difficult to define uniquely, but is generally 200 or less, preferably Is 20-50. That is, when p + q exceeds 200, when the polycarbonate copolymer is used, the mechanical strength of the surface layer may be lowered.
そして、上記繰り返し単位(A)の好適な例としては、例えば、下記に示す各構造式のものがあげられる。 And as a suitable example of the said repeating unit (A), the thing of each structural formula shown below is mention | raise | lifted, for example.

The reaction time is appropriately set depending on the reaction temperature and the like, but is usually 0.5 minutes to 10 hours, preferably about 1 minute to 2 hours.
また、まず、ジヒドロキシ化合物(a)、(b)および(c)からなる反応原料の一部と炭酸エステル形成性化合物とを反応させてオリゴマーを生成させ、ついで、残りの反応原料を添加して重縮合を完結させる2段階法を用いることもできる。このような2段階法によれば、反応の制御が容易であり、精度の高い分子量コントロールを行うことができる。 First, a part of the reaction raw material comprising the dihydroxy compounds (a), (b) and (c) is reacted with a carbonate ester-forming compound to form an oligomer, and then the remaining reaction raw materials are added. According to such a two-stage method, the reaction can be easily controlled and the molecular weight can be controlled with high accuracy.

The reaction is usually carried out at a temperature in the range of 150 to 350 ° C, preferably 200 to 300 ° C. When performing the above-mentioned solid phase polycondensation method, the above monomers are mixed, and the polycondensation is carried out by heating to a temperature not higher than the melting point of the resulting polycarbonate copolymer in the solid phase state. In either case, the degree of vacuum is preferably set to 1 mmHg or less in the final stage of the reaction, and phenols derived from the bisaryl carbonate produced by the transesterification reaction are distilled out of the system. And as for this rubber elastic particle ((beta)), it is preferable to use what the average particle diameter was set to the range of 0.5-20 micrometers, More preferably, it is the range of 1-10 micrometers. By containing rubber elastic particles having an average particle diameter in such a range, it is possible to form the surface of the roll with a desired surface roughness.
そして、上記ゴム弾性粒子(β)の含有割合は、上記ポリカーボネート共重合体(α)100重量部(以下、「部」と略す)に対して1〜50部に設定することが好ましく、より好ましくは5〜20部である。すなわち、ゴム弾性粒子(B)の含有割合が1部未満では、そのゴム弾性粒子の添加による耐摩耗性向上効果が得られず、逆に、50部を超えると、トナー帯電性が落ちるといった傾向がみられるからである。 The content ratio of the rubber elastic particles (β) is preferably set to 1 to 50 parts, more preferably 100 parts by weight (hereinafter abbreviated as “parts”) of the polycarbonate copolymer (α). Is 5 to 20 parts. That is, when the content ratio of the rubber elastic particles (B) is less than 1 part, the effect of improving the wear resistance due to the addition of the rubber elastic particles cannot be obtained, and conversely, when it exceeds 50 parts, the toner chargeability tends to decrease. This is because of
Further, on the surface of the developing roll formed by using the rubber elastic particles (β), when the surface roughness (Ra) is formed on a fine uneven surface so as to be 0.3 to 1.5 μm, preferable. The surface roughness (Ra) is the centerline average roughness (Ra) as indicated by the definition and display of the surface roughness of JIS B 0601-1982. And this surface roughness (Ra) is measured using a stylus electric expansion type surface roughness measuring instrument (JIS B 0605-1994).

Among them, from the viewpoint of easy control of the conductivity, c-ZnO, it is preferable to use a c-TiO 2, c-SnO 2. In addition, the above “c−” means having conductivity. That is, since the electric charge stays with the use of the developing roll, it is possible to control the conductivity by blending the conductive agent and to set an appropriate charging range. It is preferable to set the electric resistance of the surface layer in the range of 1 × 10 2 to 8 × 10 11 Ω · cm, more preferably 5 × 10 8 to 5 × 10 10 Ω · cm by blending this conductive agent. .
そして、上記導電剤の含有割合は、上記ポリカーボネート共重合体(α)100部に対して5〜50部に設定することが好ましく、より好ましくは10〜20部である。すなわち、導電剤の含有割合が5部未満では、導電性を付与する効果が得られず、50部を超えると、ポリカーボネート共重合体が硬くなって脆くなる傾向がみられるからである。 And it is preferable to set the content rate of the said electrically conductive agent to 5-50 parts with respect to 100 parts of said polycarbonate copolymers ((alpha)), More preferably, it is 10-20 parts. That is, when the content of the conductive agent is less than 5 parts, the effect of imparting conductivity cannot be obtained, and when it exceeds 50 parts, the polycarbonate copolymer tends to become hard and brittle.
また、上記帯電制御剤としては、具体的には、四級アンモニウム塩、ホウ酸塩、アジン系(ニグロシン系)化合物、アゾ化合物、オキシナフトエ酸系金属錯体、界面活性剤(アニオン系、カチオン系、ノニオン系)等があげられる。これら帯電制御剤は単独でもしくは2種以上併せて用いられる。このような帯電制御剤の配合により、現像ロールのトナー帯電性を向上させることができる。 Specific examples of the charge control agent include quaternary ammonium salts, borates, azine (nigrosine) compounds, azo compounds, oxynaphthoic acid metal complexes, and surfactants (anionic and cationic). , Nonionic type) and the like. These charge control agents may be used alone or in combination of two or more. By adding such a charge control agent, the toner charging property of the developing roll can be improved.
そして、上記帯電制御剤の含有割合は、上記ポリカーボネート共重合体(α)100部に対して0.01〜5部に設定することが好ましく、より好ましくは1〜3部である。すなわち、帯電制御剤の含有割合が0.01部未満では、トナー帯電性への効果が少なく、5部を超えると、タック性が現れたり、物性が劣ったりする傾向がみられるからである。 And it is preferable to set the content rate of the said charge control agent to 0.01-5 parts with respect to 100 parts of said polycarbonate copolymers ((alpha)), More preferably, it is 1-3 parts. That is, when the content ratio of the charge control agent is less than 0.01 part, the effect on the toner charging property is small, and when it exceeds 5 parts, tackiness appears and the physical properties tend to be inferior.
なお、本発明において、その表層23形成材料には、上記各成分とともに、必要に応じて、充填剤、安定剤、紫外線吸収剤、帯電防止剤、補強剤、滑剤、離型剤、染料、顔料、難燃剤、オイル等を適宜に配合することができる。 In the present invention, the material for forming the surface layer 23 includes, as necessary, a filler, a stabilizer, an ultraviolet absorber, an antistatic agent, a reinforcing agent, a lubricant, a release agent, a dye, and a pigment. In addition, a flame retardant, oil, and the like can be appropriately blended.
つぎに、上記表層23形成用のコーティング液は、例えば、以下の方法により作製することができる。 Next, the coating liquid for forming the surface layer 23 can be produced, for example, by the following method.
That is, first, a specific polycarbonate copolymer (α) is kneaded in a closed kneader (for example, a Banbury mixer), and this is further mixed with rubber elastic particles (β), and if necessary, a charge control agent, a conductive material. Add agent and continue kneading. The kneaded product is dissolved in a solvent to prepare a coating solution. Examples of the solvent include tetrahydrofuran, ethyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, methanol, toluene, isopropyl alcohol, methyl cellosolve, dimethylformamide, and the like. These may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
また、上記表層23形成用のコーティング液は、つぎの方法によっても作製することができる。 Further, the coating liquid for forming the surface layer 23 can also be produced by the following method.
すなわち、まず、溶剤に特定のポリカーボネート共重合体(α)を溶解する。この溶剤は前述と同様のものが用いられる。そして、上記溶解したポリカーボネート共重合体(α)中に、ゴム弾性粒子(β)、さらに必要に応じて帯電制御剤、導電剤等を配合し、ボールミル等で分散を行う。そして、攪拌を行うことによりコーティング液を調製する。 That is, first, a specific polycarbonate copolymer (α) is dissolved in a solvent. This solvent is the same as described above. Then, in the dissolved polycarbonate copolymer (α), rubber elastic particles (β) and, if necessary, a charge control agent, a conductive agent and the like are blended and dispersed by a ball mill or the like. And a coating liquid is prepared by stirring.
つぎに、図1に示すような本発明の現像ロールは、例えば、つぎのようにして作製される。 Next, the developing roll of the present invention as shown in FIG. 1 is produced, for example, as follows.
すなわち、まず、前記のようにして調製されたベースゴム層21および中間層22の形成材料を用い、常法(金型成形法、ディッピング法、スプレー法、ロールコート法等)に従って、軸体14の外周にベースゴム層21および中間層22をこの順序で形成し、ロール基体を作製する。 That is, first, using the base rubber layer 21 and intermediate layer 22 forming materials prepared as described above, the shaft body 14 is formed in accordance with a conventional method (mold molding method, dipping method, spray method, roll coat method, etc.). A base rubber layer 21 and an intermediate layer 22 are formed in this order on the outer periphery of the substrate to produce a roll base.
On the other hand, the surface layer 23 forming material (coating liquid) of the developing roll is prepared as described above, and the coating liquid is applied to the outer peripheral surface of the intermediate layer 22 of the roll base. This coating method is not particularly limited, and conventional methods such as a dipping method, a spray method, and a roll coating method can be applied. And after coating, the solvent in a coating liquid is evaporated and removed by performing drying and heat processing (conditions: 60-170 degreeC). In this manner, a developing roll having a three-layer structure as shown in FIG. 1 can be produced. In this developing roll, the thickness of each layer is appropriately determined. For example, the thickness of the base rubber layer 21 is preferably set in the range of 2 to 10 mm, particularly preferably 3 to 6 mm. Moreover, it is preferable to set the thickness of the intermediate | middle layer 22 to the range of 1-90 micrometers, Especially preferably, it is 5-10 micrometers in thickness. And it is preferable to set the thickness of the surface layer 23 to 10-100 micrometers, Especially preferably, it is 20-50 micrometers in thickness.
そして、表層23の電気抵抗は、前述のように、1×102 〜8×1011Ω・cmの範囲に設定することが好ましく、より好ましくは5×108 〜5×1010Ω・cmである。 The electrical resistance of the surface layer 23 is preferably set in the range of 1 × 10 2 to 8 × 10 11 Ω · cm, more preferably 5 × 10 8 to 5 × 10 10 Ω · cm, as described above. It is.
なお、図1に示す現像ロールは三層構造であったが、本発明はこれに限定されず、例えば、ベースゴム層の外周面に直接、表層を形成してもよく、さらに、ベースゴム層と表層との間に、二層以上の層を構成してもよい。 Although the developing roll shown in FIG. 1 has a three-layer structure, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the surface layer may be directly formed on the outer peripheral surface of the base rubber layer. Two or more layers may be formed between the surface layer and the surface layer.

After 10,000 sheets were printed (after endurance), the outer diameter change of the roll before and after endurance was measured.
From the above results, the comparison between the products of Examples 1 to 3 and the product of Comparative Example 1, the comparison between the products of Example 4 and the product of Comparative Example 2, and the comparison between the products of Examples 5 to 7 and the product of Comparative Example 3, It can be seen that all of the example products in which urethane rubber particles are dispersed in the surface layer have improved wear resistance compared to the comparative example products. In the comparison between the products of Examples 8 to 10 and the product of Comparative Example 1, the comparison between the products of Example 11 and the product of Comparative Example 2, and the comparison between the products of Examples 12 to 14 and the product of Comparative Example 3, It can be seen that the example products in which the silicone rubber particles are dispersed in each have improved wear resistance compared to the comparative example products. By the way, the product of Comparative Example 4 disperses graphite particles instead of urethane rubber particles to increase the surface roughness and increase the toner conveyance amount, but it is understood that the abrasion resistance is inferior.
