Description

The present invention relates to a tile repainting method having a slurry layer.

Cement-based and concrete-based extruded tiles have a decorative layer called a slurry layer on the surface. This slurry layer is made by mixing a colorant, water, or a resin emulsion with cement, and coloring roof tiles by drying and solidifying.

However, if the slurry layer is deteriorated due to long-term deterioration, it becomes brittle and easily peeled off, and the peeled portion loses its color, resulting in a spotted pattern on the entire roof tile. If the roof tiles are repainted in this state, even if a new coating film is formed on the surface, the coated slurry layer will be peeled off fragilely. It was. However, for removing the deteriorated slurry layer, there are keren work with a sander and cleaning work in which high pressure water is jetted, but both are dangerous work for the operator to carry out on the roof where the tiles are installed. .

As described above, the removal of the deteriorated slurry layer of the roof tile is difficult to complete even though the burden is heavy on the operator, and if even a little slurry layer remains, There is a possibility that the repainted film may be peeled off from this portion.

Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to develop a repainting method capable of repainting the roof tile even when the deteriorated slurry layer remains.

As a solution to this problem, the present inventor has developed a roof tile repainting method that does not require the complete removal of the deteriorated slurry layer as a result of intensive studies.

A roof tile repainting method having a slurry layer, wherein (1) after the roof surface is washed, the weakened portion of the slurry layer is removed and washed again. (2) A permeation sealer containing a solvent-based epoxy resin and a solvent-based polyamide resin is applied to the remainder of the slurry layer, and is allowed to penetrate and is dried and cured. (3) A second sealer containing a solvent-based acrylic polyol and a solvent-based polyisocyanate resin is applied and dried. (4) A roof tile repainting method characterized in that a finish paint selected from polyurethane resin paint, silicon resin paint and fluororesin paint is applied and dried.
This will be described in detail below.

Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-355317 discloses a method for repairing a new roof tile that can sufficiently penetrate into a deteriorated layer even when the surface treatment is insufficient, can form a coating film excellent in adhesion and water resistance, and has no problem of odor. There is an invention described in. The invention relates to a new roof tile in a state where an old coating film has deteriorated, and after applying a paint containing a silicon-modified acrylic polyol, a polyisocyanate compound, and an organic solvent as an undercoat paint, The present invention relates to a method for repairing a new roof tile, characterized in that a water-based top coating is applied.
JP2001-355317

In the said invention, the primer layer of specific resin is applied to the decorative layer which deteriorated the new roof tile, and it is not necessarily limited to a slurry layer. On the other hand, in the present invention, the decorative layer is limited to the slurry layer, and the slurry layer weakened by secular change is infiltrated into the slurry layer by a permeation sealer made of a room temperature curing type epoxy resin paint, and is hardened strongly. .
After penetrating the inside of the slurry layer and thoroughly drying and curing, as a second sealer with excellent drying and flexibility, a paint containing solvent-based acrylic polyol and solvent-based polyisocyanate resin is applied to make it flexible. Forms a sealer film with excellent properties and surface layer reinforcement.

On the dried second sealer coating film, a finish paint for the purpose of protecting tiles (water resistance, weather resistance, etc.), aesthetics, and makeup is applied. Since the finish paint is intended for the above, a paint selected from polyurethane resin paint, silicon resin paint and fluororesin paint excellent in these is suitable. The finish paint may be formed as a single-coat single-layer coating or as a double-coat multilayer coating. If it is applied twice, the cost is increased, but the finish, water resistance and weather resistance of the coating film are improved.

Cleaning equipment such as a wire brush and / or high-pressure water cleaning can be applied to cleaning the tile surface, removing the weakened portion of the slurry layer, and re-cleaning.
Brush coating, roller coating, air spray coating, airless spray coating, and air-assisted airless spray coating can be applied to permeate or paint each material of the penetrating sealer, the second sealer, and the finish paint.

According to the present invention, since the brittle slurry layer remained during the painting work for repainting the tile having the slurry layer, the painted coating film that has been repainted is dropped together with the lower slurry layer. It becomes possible to prevent.
In addition, in order to prevent the above problems, it is necessary to thoroughly adjust the substrate by means such as wire brushes and high-pressure water washing, but this does not require time and labor for this, and is extremely common. The removal of the fragile layer, cleaning work, and substrate preparation work are sufficient.

In order to provide an understanding of the present invention, examples are described below. Needless to say, the present invention is not limited to the following examples.

The surface of the cement extrusion tile with the slurry layer becoming brittle was washed with high pressure water and then rubbed with a wire brush to remove the slurry layer that easily falls off. After this, it was further washed once with high pressure water and then sufficiently dried.
An epoxy resin diluted with an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent, an aromatic hydrocarbon-modified polyamide resin and an ether / alcohol solvent were added and mixed and dispersed to obtain a permeation sealer. The permeation sealer was applied to the surface of the slurry layer by brushing to penetrate the inside.
After the permeation sealer sufficiently penetrates into the slurry layer and the inside is cured, the second sealer A liquid in which the acrylic polyol resin is dispersed and mixed with the aromatic solvent and some dispersant, and the polyisocyanate resin is the aromatic solvent. The second sealer B liquid dispersed and mixed with the ester solvent was measured and mixed at a reaction equivalent ratio to obtain a second sealer. The second sealer was applied by roller coating on the coating surface of the osmotic sealer.
After the second sealer is dried and cured, the acrylic polyol resin is dispersed and mixed with an aromatic solvent, a slight amount of dispersant and a coloring pigment, and the finish paint A solution is dispersed and mixed with the polyisocyanate resin using an aromatic solvent and an ester solvent. The finished paint B liquid was metered and mixed at each reaction equivalent ratio to obtain a finished paint 1. A finish paint was applied to the coating surface of the second sealer by air spray painting and dried to obtain a repainted roof tile 1.

The surface of the thick slate roof tile in which the same slurry layer as in Example 1 was brittle was washed with high-pressure water and then rubbed with a wire brush to remove the slurry layer that easily falls off.
After the second sealer was dried and cured, a finish paint 2 was obtained in which a silicone resin was dispersed and mixed with an aromatic solvent, some dispersant, and a color pigment. The finish paint 2 was applied to the coating surface of the second sealer by airless spray coating and dried to obtain a repainted tile 2.
