Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an endoscope apparatus including an endoscope and an excitation light source that emits excitation light for autofluorescence.
When a living tissue is irradiated with light (excitation light) having a specific wavelength such as ultraviolet rays, it tends to emit fluorescence. This phenomenon is called autofluorescence. In recent years, it has been discovered that the amount of fluorescent light due to autofluorescence decreases in affected areas such as cancer cells, and is attracting attention as an early detection method for diseases.
Therefore, autofluorescence diagnosis in which excitation light is irradiated into a lumen and fluorescence is observed with an endoscope is being used. When performing such autofluorescence diagnosis, as in the apparatus described in
In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide an endoscope apparatus that can prevent unnecessary exhaustion of an excitation light source without requiring a complicated operation.
In order to achieve the above object, an endoscope apparatus according to
Therefore, according to the present invention, the lamp of the excitation light source can be turned on only when the user of the endoscope holds the endoscope, that is, when the endoscope is being used.
The detection means includes a hand shake sensor (Claim 4), an infrared sensor (Claim 5) for detecting infrared light emitted from the user, a temperature sensor (Claim 6) for detecting the body temperature of the user, A pressure sensor for detecting a holding pressure when the person is holding the endoscope can be used.
As described above, according to the present invention, since the lamp is lit only when the endoscope is used, it is possible to prevent unnecessary lighting of the excitation light lamp.
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 schematically shows an endoscope apparatus according to a first embodiment of the present invention. The
The
In the lamp unit 204 of the
The
Further, the
The
The
The image when the excitation light is irradiated is a fluorescence image, and an affected part such as a cancer cell generates weak fluorescence as compared with a healthy tissue. Therefore, a diseased part can be specified by comparing this fluorescent image with a normal observation image that is a captured image during normal observation. The operator of the
In addition, a camera shake sensor 118 is provided on the handle portion of the
The lamp control process of the
This routine starts when the
In step S101, 0 is substituted into the variable t. Next, the process proceeds to step S102.
In step S102, the
In step S103, the variable t is compared with the constant α. If t <α in step S105 (S103: NO), the process proceeds to step S104, 1 is added to t, and then the process returns to step S102. On the other hand, if t ≧ α in step S103 (S103: YES), the process proceeds to step S105, the lamp of the
As described above, according to steps S101 to S105, the state in which the
In step S106, 0 is substituted into the variable t. Next, the process proceeds to step S107.
In step S <b> 107, the
In step S108, the variable t is compared with the constant β. If t <β in step S108 (S108: NO), the process proceeds to step S109, 1 is added to t, and then the process returns to step S107. On the other hand, if t ≧ β in step S108 (S108: YES), the process proceeds to step S110, the lamp of the
As described above, according to steps S106 to S110, the state where the
By controlling the lamp of the
Note that, by operating the front panel switch of the

The configuration of the fourth embodiment of the present invention will be described below. The electronic endoscope apparatus according to the present embodiment uses a
FIG. 5 shows an
The
