Abstract

Description
(1)体内の皮下に留置する注入ポートであって、
(a)第1の端部、第2の端部、これらの両端部間に延在して刺入後に自己密閉する壁部、及び前記壁部によって囲まれた流体レザバーを有する実質的に軟質で可撓性の細長い本体と、
(b)前記レザバーに連通した、前記本体に取り付けられた可撓性の細長いチューブカテーテルとを含むことを特徴とする注入ポート。
(2)前記壁部が内側層及び外側層を含み、前記外側層が前記内側層の周りを圧迫していることを特徴とする実施態様(1)に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
(3)前記内側層及び前記外側層のそれぞれがポリマー材料から形成されていることを特徴とする実施態様(2)に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
(4)前記外側層が熱収縮性材料から形成され、前記内側層がエラストマーから形成されている実施態様(2)に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
(5)前記壁部が、流体拡散の障壁となる材料の層を含むことを特徴とする実施態様(1)に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
(7)前記本体が12mm以下の直径を有することを特徴とする実施態様(1)に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
(8)前記壁部が少なくとも3層の材料を含むことを特徴とする実施態様(1)に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
(9)最も内側の層の材料が、前記少なくとも3層の残りの2層よりも刺入抵抗性が高いポリマーから形成されていることを特徴とする実施態様(8)に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
(10)最も内側の層の材料が、金属製メッシュ材料から形成され、前記少なくとも3層の残りの2層を径方向に支持することを特徴とする実施態様(8)に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
(a)第1の端部、第2の端部、これらの両端部間に延在する壁部、及び前記壁部によって囲まれた流体レザバーを有する実質的に軟質で可撓性の細長い管状本体であって、前記壁部の実質的に全てが刺入後に自己密閉する、前記管状本体と、

(13)前記内側層及び前記外側層のそれぞれがポリマー材料から形成されていることを特徴とする実施態様(12)に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
(14)前記外側層が熱収縮性材料から形成され、前記内側層がエラストマーから形成されている実施態様(12)に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
(15)前記壁部が、流体拡散の障壁となる材料の層を含むことを特徴とする実施態様(1)に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
(17)前記本体が12mm以下の直径を有することを特徴とする実施態様(11)に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
(18)前記壁部が少なくとも3層の材料を含むことを特徴とする実施態様(11)に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
(19)最も内側の層の材料が、前記少なくとも3層の残りの2層よりも刺入抵抗性が高いポリマーから形成されていることを特徴とする実施態様(18)に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
(20)最も内側の層の材料が、金属製メッシュ材料から形成され、前記少なくとも3層の残りの2層を径方向に支持することを特徴とする実施態様(18)に記載の可撓性注入ポート。

Claims (12)
- 体内の皮下に留置する注入ポートであって、
(a)第1の端部、第2の端部、これらの両端部間に延在して刺入後に自己密閉する壁部、及び前記壁部によって囲まれた流体レザバーを有する実質的に軟質で可撓性の細長い本体と、
(b)前記レザバーに連通した、前記本体に取り付けられた可撓性の細長いチューブカテーテルとを含むことを特徴とする注入ポート。 - 前記壁部が内側層及び外側層を含み、前記外側層が前記内側層の周りを圧迫していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
- 前記内側層及び前記外側層のそれぞれがポリマー材料から形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
- 前記外側層が熱収縮性材料から形成され、前記内側層がエラストマーから形成されている請求項2に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
- 前記壁部が、流体拡散の障壁となる材料の層を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
- 更に、前記本体に取り付けられ前記本体から延出した水かき形成部分を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
- 前記本体が12mm以下の直径を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
- 前記壁部が少なくとも3層の材料を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
- 最も内側の層の材料が、前記少なくとも3層の残りの2層よりも刺入抵抗性が高いポリマーから形成されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の可撓性注入ポート。
