Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an engine control device, and more particularly to an engine control device including a filter member that captures exhaust particulates in an exhaust passage.
Conventionally, in an engine, for example, a diesel engine, exhaust particulates (particulates) such as carbon contained in exhaust gas can be captured by a filter member arranged in an exhaust passage so as not to be released to the atmosphere, a so-called particulate filter. Has been done.
When the particulate filter is provided in this way, when the amount of exhaust particulate captured by the particulate filter reaches a saturation capacity that can be captured, it is necessary to burn the captured exhaust particulate and regenerate the filter function. is there.
Therefore,
However, according to the present inventors, when the idle stop system disclosed in
In other words, when the vehicle is stopped, the warning lamp is turned on, and when the manual switch is turned on by the occupant's operation, the regeneration of the particulate filter starts once. The stop is performed and the regeneration of the particulate filter is interrupted.
本発明は、以上のような課題に勘案してなされたもので、その目的は、エンジン自動停止によって手動再生が中断されることを防止して、フィルタ部材の再生を確実に行うことができるエンジンの制御装置を提供することにある。 The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to prevent the manual regeneration from being interrupted by the automatic engine stop and to reliably perform the regeneration of the filter member. In the second configuration of the present invention, vehicle speed detection means for detecting the vehicle speed;
Brake operation state detection means for detecting the operation state of the brake;
Determination means for determining that the engine automatic stop condition is satisfied when the vehicle is stopped and the state in which the brake is operated continues for a predetermined time based on the detection results of the both detection means;

When the manual regeneration switch is operated to the manual regeneration start state during the manual regeneration instruction by the instruction means, the control mode of the engine is changed to increase the temperature of the exhaust gas flowing into the filter member, and the filter member A second regenerating means for regenerating the filter member by burning and removing the exhaust particulate captured by
During the regeneration of the filter member by the regeneration means, the engine automatic stop prohibiting means for prohibiting the engine automatic stop by the engine automatic stop / restart means even if the determination means determines that the engine automatic stop condition is satisfied. It is configured to provide.
Here, since regeneration of the filter member by the second regeneration means requires operation of a manual regeneration switch by the occupant, there is a possibility that the occupant may feel inconvenience if the operation frequency is high.
According to the second configuration of the present invention, when the amount of exhaust particulate trapped by the filter member during traveling of the vehicle exceeds the first predetermined value and the regeneration condition is satisfied, the regeneration of the filter member is performed by the first regeneration unit. Therefore, the frequency of reproduction by the second reproduction means can be reduced, and complication of operation by the occupant can be suppressed.
In addition, since the first regeneration means does not perform regeneration unless the regeneration condition is satisfied, there is a possibility that the filter member will be saturated if the traveling state in which the regeneration condition is not satisfied is continued. For example, in order to regenerate the filter member, it is necessary to raise the exhaust gas temperature to a temperature at which exhaust particulates can be burned and removed. Therefore, the regeneration conditions are such that the exhaust gas temperature is relatively high, high rotation, high load, and high vehicle speed. However, when there is a traffic jam, the running state that does not satisfy the regeneration condition may be continued for a long time. In such a case, the filter member is saturated.
According to the second configuration of the present invention, when the amount of exhaust particulate trapped by the filter member becomes equal to or greater than the second predetermined value, the filter member is regenerated by the second regeneration unit. Even when the state where the regeneration is not performed is continued, the filter member can be regenerated.
Further, during the regeneration of the filter member, even if the engine automatic stop condition is satisfied, the automatic engine stop is prohibited. Therefore, the regeneration of the filter member is continued without interruption, and the regeneration of the filter member is performed reliably. be able to.
In the third configuration of the present invention, vehicle speed detection means for detecting the vehicle speed;
Brake operation state detection means for detecting the operation state of the brake;
Determination means for determining that the engine automatic stop condition is satisfied when the vehicle is stopped and the state in which the brake is operated continues for a predetermined time based on the detection results of the both detection means;
An engine automatic stop / restart means for automatically stopping the engine when the determination means determines that the engine automatic stop condition is satisfied, and restarting the engine when a predetermined start operation is performed in the engine automatic stop state;
A filter member disposed in the exhaust passage of the engine and capturing exhaust particulates in the exhaust gas;

A manual regeneration switch that can be operated by an occupant to start regeneration of the filter member;
An instruction means for instructing the occupant to perform manual regeneration when a parameter related to the amount of exhaust particulate detected by the exhaust particulate quantity detection means exceeds a predetermined value and a vehicle stop state is detected by the vehicle speed detection means; ,
When the manual regeneration switch is operated to the manual regeneration start state during the manual regeneration instruction by the instruction means, the control mode of the engine is changed to increase the temperature of the exhaust gas flowing into the filter member, and the filter member Regeneration means for regenerating the filter member by burning and removing the exhaust particulate captured by
When the occupant is instructed to perform manual regeneration by the instruction means, the engine automatic stop / restart means prohibits automatic engine stop by the engine automatic stop / restart means even if the determination means determines that the engine automatic stop condition is satisfied. The engine automatic stop prohibiting means is provided.
Here, after the vehicle is stopped, if it is determined that the automatic engine stop condition is satisfied earlier than the operation of the manual regeneration switch by the occupant, the engine is automatically stopped. After that, when the manual regeneration switch is operated to the manual regeneration start state by the occupant, it is necessary to restart the engine in order to regenerate the filter member. As described above, when the engine is automatically stopped and then restarted and manually regenerated, a long time is required from the engine restart to the engine control mode for regenerating the filter member. Will increase.
According to the third configuration of the present invention, when the instruction means instructs the occupant to perform manual regeneration, the engine automatic stop / restart means even if the determination means determines that the engine automatic stop condition is satisfied. Therefore, the engine is not automatically stopped before starting manual regeneration, and the increase in fuel consumption can be suppressed.

According to the fourth configuration of the present invention, when the amount of exhaust particulate trapped by the filter member during traveling of the vehicle exceeds the first predetermined value and the regeneration condition is satisfied, the regeneration of the filter member is performed by the first regeneration unit. Therefore, the frequency of reproduction by the second reproduction means can be reduced, and complication of operation by the occupant can be suppressed.
Further, when the amount of exhaust particulate trapped by the filter member becomes equal to or greater than the second predetermined value, the filter member is regenerated by the second regenerating unit, and thus the state in which the regeneration by the first regenerating unit is not performed is continued. Even in such a case, the filter member can be regenerated.
Further, when the instruction means instructs the occupant to perform manual regeneration, automatic engine stop by the engine automatic stop / restart means is prohibited even if the determination means determines that the engine automatic stop condition is satisfied. Therefore, the engine is not automatically stopped before the manual regeneration is started, and an increase in fuel consumption can be suppressed.
According to the fifth configuration of the present invention, the vehicle includes a travel environment detection unit that detects the travel environment of the vehicle,
The engine automatic stop prohibiting means prohibits regeneration of the filter member by the regeneration means or the second regeneration means only when the traveling environment detected by the traveling environment detection means is in an environment suitable for regeneration of the filter member. It is configured as follows.
Here, since regeneration of the filter member by the regeneration means or the second regeneration means requires a relatively long time (for example, 10 minutes), it is usually performed in a place where a long stop time can be secured, and the signal at the intersection The possibility of manual regeneration is extremely low in places where a short stop time such as waiting is performed.
On the other hand, the automatic engine stop is required to improve the fuel consumption by automatically stopping the engine even in a place where a short stop time such as waiting for a signal at an intersection.
Therefore, even when a manual regeneration is instructed from the instruction means, in a place where the engine regeneration time is short, such as waiting for a signal at an intersection, the automatic regeneration is not performed even though the possibility of manual regeneration is extremely low. If prohibited, the effect of improving fuel efficiency will be impaired.
According to the fifth configuration of the present invention, the engine automatic stop is prohibited only when the environment is suitable for the regeneration of the filter member, and the engine automatic stop is prohibited when the environment is not suitable for the regeneration of the filter member. Therefore, the fuel efficiency improvement effect can be ensured without interrupting the manual regeneration of the filter member.
According to the sixth configuration of the present invention, the automatic engine stop / restart means determines whether the automatic engine stop condition is satisfied by the determination means when the regeneration of the filter member by the regeneration means or the second regeneration means is completed. When configured, the engine is configured to automatically stop.
According to the sixth configuration of the present invention, after completion of regeneration of the filter member, when the engine automatic stop condition is satisfied, the engine automatic stop is executed, so that the fuel consumption can be improved.
According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent the manual regeneration from being interrupted by the automatic engine stop and to reliably perform the regeneration of the filter member.

The regeneration of the
Specifically, forced regeneration (corresponding to the first regeneration means in the claims) that performs regeneration of the
In forced regeneration, when a predetermined regeneration condition is satisfied, for example, the exhaust particulate amount is equal to or greater than a first predetermined value, the engine speed is low, a predetermined rotation region excluding high rotation, the engine load is low, and high load is excluded. When the predetermined load region and the vehicle speed are equal to or higher than the predetermined vehicle speed, as shown in FIG. 3A, a predetermined amount of post-injection (b1) in the expansion stroke after the main injection (a1) injected near the top dead center of the compression stroke ) Is added.

Moreover, as shown by (a3) in FIG. 3B, the manual regeneration is performed by increasing the injection amount of the main injection injected near the top dead center of the compression stroke by a predetermined amount from the normal injection amount (a2), For example, the amount of rotation required to increase the idle rotation speed from the normal idle rotation speed (for example, 750 rpm) to the first target rotation speed (for example, 1750 rpm) for manual regeneration is increased and shown in FIG. In this way, a predetermined amount of post-injection (b2) is additionally executed in the expansion stroke after main injection (a3).

In step S3, it is determined whether or not the amount of exhaust particulate detected in step S2 is greater than or equal to a first predetermined value A1.
When NO is determined in step S3, that is, when the amount of exhaust particulate trapped by the
When YES is determined in step S3, that is, when the exhaust particulate amount is equal to or larger than the first predetermined value A1 and forced regeneration is necessary, the process proceeds to step S4, and a value larger than the first predetermined amount A1 or larger. It is determined whether or not the second predetermined value A2 is set.
When it is determined NO in step S4, that is, when the amount of exhaust particulate trapped by the
When YES is determined in the step S5, the process proceeds to a step S6, in which the post-injection is executed in the expansion stroke after the main injection, and the
Subsequently, in step S7, it is determined whether or not the exhaust particulate amount is smaller than a third predetermined value (a value in the vicinity of 0) set to a value smaller than the first and second predetermined values A1 and A2.
When it is determined NO in step S7, that is, when the reproduction has not been sufficiently performed, the process returns to step S5.
When YES is determined in step S7, that is, when the amount of exhaust particulates is sufficiently burned and removed by the regeneration in step S6 and the regeneration can be considered sufficiently advanced, the process proceeds to step S8 and the post-injection is stopped. End playback.
When YES is determined in step S4, that is, when the exhaust particulate becomes equal to or larger than the second predetermined value A2 set larger than the first predetermined value A1, and manual regeneration is necessary, the process proceeds to step S9. Then, it is determined whether or not the vehicle is stopped.
When YES is determined in the step S9, the process proceeds to a step S10 so as to determine whether or not the manual regeneration is already being performed.
When it is determined NO in step S10, the process proceeds to step S11, and the
In step S12, it is determined whether or not the
When YES is determined in step S12, the process proceeds to step S13, and the manual regeneration described above, that is, the injection amount of the main injection injected near the top dead center of the compression stroke is increased by a predetermined amount from the normal injection amount, for example, In the expansion stroke after the main injection, the idle speed is increased by an amount necessary for increasing the idle speed from the normal idle speed (for example, 750 rpm) to the first target speed (for example, 1750 rpm) for manual regeneration. Additional post injection is performed for a predetermined amount. Further, the
Subsequently, in step S14, it is determined whether or not the exhaust particulate amount has become equal to or smaller than a fourth predetermined value set smaller than the first and second predetermined values A1 and A2 and larger than the third predetermined value A3.
When YES is determined in the step S14, that is, the regeneration is performed until the exhaust particulate amount becomes smaller than the fourth predetermined value A4, the process proceeds to the step S15, the manual regeneration is finished, and the
Moreover, when it determines with NO by step S14, it returns to before the determination of step S9.
The reason why the fourth predetermined value A4 is set to be larger than the third predetermined value A3 is because priority is given to shortening the manual regeneration time as much as possible. 4 The predetermined value A4 may be set to a value similar to the third predetermined value A3 (a value in the vicinity of 0).
When NO is determined in step S12, the
Further, when YES is determined in step S10, manual regeneration is already in progress, so the processing in steps S11 and S12 is bypassed, the process proceeds to step S13, and manual regeneration is continued.
If NO is determined in step S9, the process proceeds to step S16 to determine whether manual regeneration is being performed.
When YES is determined in the step S16, the process proceeds to a step S15 to end the manual regeneration, turn off the
Moreover, when it determines with NO by step S16, it returns.
Next, the idle stop control (engine automatic stop / restart control) according to the first embodiment will be described based on the flowchart of FIG.
In step S20 of FIG. 5, it is determined whether or not idle stop is being executed.
When it is determined NO in step S20, the process proceeds to step S21 to determine whether an idle stop execution condition (engine automatic stop condition) is satisfied. The idle stop execution condition is, for example, that the idle stop prohibition execution condition is satisfied when the vehicle speed is 0, the shift range position is a non-traveling range such as the P range or the N range, and the brake pedal is depressed. judge.
If YES is determined in the step S21, the process proceeds to a step S22 so as to determine whether or not the idle stop prohibition flag Fi is set to 1.
When it is determined NO in step S22, the process proceeds to step S23, where fuel injection from the
If NO is determined in step S22, that is, if the
When NO is determined in step S21, the process of steps S22 and S23 is bypassed and the process returns because the idle stop execution condition is not satisfied.
When YES is determined in step S20, that is, when the idle stop is already being executed, the process proceeds to step S24, and it is determined whether or not the idle stop prohibition flag Fi is set to 1.
When YES is determined in the step S24, that is, after the idle stop is once executed, the manual regeneration of the
Moreover, when it determines with NO by step S24, it progresses to step S26 and it is determined whether the restart conditions from an idle stop state were satisfied. The restart condition may be any one of, for example, when the vehicle speed is greater than 0, when the shift range position is set to a travel range position such as the D range, or when the brake pedal is released. If determined, it is determined that the restart condition is satisfied.
When YES is determined in step S26, that is, when the restart condition is satisfied, the process proceeds to step S25, the idle stop is interrupted, and the engine is restarted.
If NO is determined in step S26, the process proceeds to step S23 and the idle stop is continued.

When it is determined NO in step S33, the process returns to before the determination in step S9.
If NO is determined in step S31, the
As described above, according to the second embodiment, when the

(Embodiment 3)
In the third embodiment, in addition to the regeneration control of the second embodiment, only when the vehicle is in a location suitable for regeneration of the
Hereinafter, the idle stop control according to the third embodiment will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.
In step S40 of FIG. 7, it is determined whether or not idle stop is being executed.
When it is determined NO in step S40, the process proceeds to step S41, and it is determined whether an idle stop execution condition (engine automatic stop condition) is satisfied. The idle stop execution condition is, for example, that the idle stop prohibition execution condition is satisfied when the vehicle speed is 0, the shift range position is a non-traveling range such as the P range or the N range, and the brake pedal is depressed. judge.
If YES is determined in the step S41, the process proceeds to a step S42 so as to determine whether or not the idle stop prohibition flag Fi is set to 1.
When it is determined NO in step S42, the process proceeds to step S43, where fuel injection from the
If NO is determined in step S42, that is, if the
In addition, various places where the vehicle can be stopped for a long time, such as a parking area and a vacant land, can be set as places suitable for the regeneration control.
Whether or not the vehicle is in a parking lot can be determined based on a position detection signal from a GPS antenna (not shown) of a navigation system (not shown).
And when it determines with YES by step S44, ie, when an idle stop execution condition is satisfied and a vehicle exists in the parking lot suitable for reproduction | regeneration control, an idle stop is prohibited and it returns.
Further, when it is determined NO in step S44, that is, even when the idle stop prohibition flag Fi is set to 1, if the vehicle is not in a parking lot suitable for regeneration control, the occupant switches to the manual regeneration switch. Since it is considered that the possibility that the reproduction control is performed by operating the
If YES in step S40, that is, if the idle stop is already being executed, the process proceeds to step S45, and it is determined whether the restart condition from the idle stop state is satisfied. The restart condition may be any one of, for example, when the vehicle speed is greater than 0, when the shift range position is set to a travel range position such as the D range, or when the brake pedal is released. If determined, it is determined that the restart condition is satisfied.
When YES is determined in the step S45, the process proceeds to a step S46, the idle stop is interrupted, and the engine is restarted.
Moreover, when it determines with NO by step S46, it progresses to step S43 and continues an idle stop.
As described above, according to the third embodiment, the idle stop (automatic engine stop) is prohibited only when the parking filter is suitable for the regeneration of the
