Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明は、プラズマディスプレイパネル用の駆動回路に関する。本発明によると、ディスプレイセルの持続期間中の電流ループを低減するため、新規の駆動回路の構造が提案される。持続回路のスイッチI1,I4は、スイッチI2,I3と共に、回路ボード上に互いに隣り合って配置される。更に、ディスプレイ電極Ys、Yasにアクセスするコネクタが、ボードの周辺部で同一エッジ上に配置される。

Description
当該駆動回路は、単一のボードに搭載され、前記第1及び第4のスイッチ、及び同様に前記第2及び第3のスイッチは、前記ディスプレイのセルの持続期間中における電流ループのサイズを低減するため、互いに隣り合って配置されることを特徴とする。

- プラズマディスプレイパネル用の駆動回路であって、該ディスプレイのセルの持続電極に第1の持続パルス信号を、前記ディスプレイのアドレス持続電極に第2の持続パルス信号を送るように設計された持続回路を含み、該持続回路が、前記ディスプレイのセルの持続電極にアクセスする第1のアクセスコネクタと前記第1及び第2の持続パルス信号のピーク電圧を受ける電源端子との間に接続される第1のスイッチと、前記第1のアクセスコネクタとグランドとの間に接続される第2のスイッチと、前記ディスプレイのセルのアドレス持続電極にアクセスする第2のアクセスコネクタと前記電源端子との間に接続される第3のスイッチと、前記第2のアクセスコネクタとグランドとの間に接続される第4のスイッチとを含む、駆動回路において、
当該駆動回路は、単一のボードに搭載され、前記第1及び第4のスイッチ、及び同様に前記第2及び第3のスイッチは、前記ディスプレイのセルの持続期間中における電流ループのサイズが低減されるように、互いに隣り合って配置されることを特徴とする駆動回路。 - 前記第1及び第2のアクセスコネクタは、前記ボードの周辺部で同一の縁部上に互いに隣り合って配置される、請求項1に記載の駆動回路。
- 前記アクセスコネクタの一方は、前記ボードの前面上に配置され、他方は背面上に配置される、請求項1又は2に記載の駆動回路。
- 前記第1及び第2のアクセスコネクタは、単一のコネクタに一体化される、請求項1又は2に記載の駆動回路。
