Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to sludge discharged from water and sewage, rural settlement wastewater treatment equipment, human waste treatment equipment, and the like, or suspension used in various industries such as food and pulp (hereinafter, these are collectively referred to as slurry). The present invention relates to a dehydration drying apparatus and method.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in order to dewater and dry a slurry, a dewatering device and a drying device have to be installed in each of them, and the initial cost is large, and a large amount of labor is required for maintenance.
[0003]
In addition, hot water is used as a pressurizing medium of a pressurizing press dehydrator, and while heating the slurry through a diaphragm and depressurizing the outside of the filter cloth, the slurry is heated and pressed, and simultaneously dried under reduced pressure. (See Patent Document 1). However, in this apparatus, the thermal conductivity of the diaphragm (pressed membrane) is low, and the distribution of the hot water flow rate between the filter frame and the diaphragm and the degree of decompression between the diaphragm and the filter cloth are not uniform in some places. However, there is a problem that drying unevenness easily occurs.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and provides an economical and durable slurry dehydrating / drying apparatus and method that does not cause drying unevenness in the cake and can shorten the drying time. The purpose is to do.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The dehydrating and drying apparatus of the present invention includes a filter chamber that accommodates a slurry surrounded by a filter cloth, a metal hollow body disposed in the filter chamber so as to divide the filter chamber into two, and heat inside the hollow body. Means for supplying a medium. As a result, the heat of the heat medium circulated and supplied to the metal hollow body having a good thermal conductivity is quickly supplied to the slurry in the filter chamber, so that the drying time of the slurry can be reduced and uneven drying can be reduced. it can.
[0007]
Here, it is preferable that a diaphragm is provided outside the filter cloth, and that a means for supplying a heat medium to the outside of the diaphragm be provided, and that a means for evacuating the outside of the filter cloth be provided. Thereby, since the slurry is heated from both sides of the hollow body and the diaphragm, and is heated under reduced pressure, the drying time of the slurry can be shortened with good efficiency, and uneven drying can be reduced.
[0008]
Further, it is preferable that a flow path in which the heat medium flows in a bypass is provided inside the hollow body. Thereby, the heat of the heat medium can be effectively used. Preferably, a projection is provided on the surface of the hollow body. By providing the protrusions on the surface of the hollow body, the heat transfer area can be expanded, and the cake in which the slurry is solidified by the protrusions can be dehydrated and dried. Therefore, it is possible to dry the inside of the solidified cake sufficiently uniformly. Here, it is preferable that the protrusions on the surface of the hollow body extend in a direction in which the slurry in which the slurry is dehydrated and dried is discharged. Thus, when discharging the cake after dehydration and drying, the protrusion does not prevent the discharge of the cake.
[0009]
It is preferable that a filter cloth and a flow path of a filtrate filtered by the filter cloth be provided on the surface of the hollow body. Thereby, the heat of the heating medium is more quickly supplied to the slurry in the filter chamber from both sides of the metal hollow body and the diaphragm, and is also dewatered from both sides, so that the drying time of the slurry can be further reduced. . Therefore, it is possible to dry the inside of the solidified cake sufficiently uniformly. Further, it is preferable that the hollow body has a concave portion for accommodating the slurry. Thereby, the filtration chamber can be substantially expanded, and the processing capacity can be improved.
[0010]
Further, the dehydration and drying method of the present invention arranges a metal hollow body so as to bisect a filter chamber surrounded by a filter cloth, accommodates a slurry in the filter chamber, and supplies a heat medium to the hollow body. The slurry contained in the filter chamber is heated from the hollow body side. Here, it is preferable that a protrusion is provided on the surface of the hollow body to expand the heat transfer area, and that the cake in which the slurry is solidified by the protrusion be dehydrated and dried. In addition, it is preferable that a filter cloth is provided on the surface of the hollow body, a discharge channel for filtrate is provided, and the slurry is filtered from the surface of the hollow body.
[0011]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

Next, the step of dehydrating and drying the slurry using the above filter press will be described. The process of dehydrating and drying the slurry is large and can be divided into a filtration process, a pressing process, a center blow, and a drying process.
[0029]
In the filtration step, the slurry is supplied to the dehydration dryer by a slurry supply pump through a slurry supply line and a supply valve, and is filled in the filter chamber. Further, when the slurry is supplied under pressure, the water in the slurry is discharged as a filtrate.
[0030]
In the squeezing step, the heat medium heated by the hot water unit is supplied to the dehydration dryer through the hot water circulation line by the hot water circulation pump, passes between the filter frame and the diaphragm and the inside of the hollow body, and further includes a back pressure valve. Return to the hot water unit via and used for circulation. A heat medium is supplied between the filter frame and the diaphragm, and the back pressure valve is provided, whereby the diaphragm expands and the volume of the filter chamber is reduced, whereby the slurry in the filter chamber is squeezed. Further, by operating the switching valve, depressurizing the condensing tank via a vacuum line with a vacuum pump, and supplying cooling water to the condensing tank, the inside of the dehydration dryer is depressurized, and the slurry is simultaneously squeezed and heated and depressurized. Dried. At the start of the squeezing step, the opening valve may be temporarily opened to discharge gas accumulated in the hot water circulation line.
[0031]
In the center blow, the air valve and the sludge valve are opened, the air is supplied to the dehydration dryer through the center blow line, and the slurry sludge is discharged through the center blow sludge line.
[0032]
In the drying step, the heat medium is circulated as in the pressing step, but the back pressure valve may be opened so that the back pressure is not applied even when the back pressure is applied. Simultaneously with the circulation of hot water, the switching valve is operated, the condensing tank is depressurized by a vacuum pump through a vacuum line, and cooling water is supplied to the condensing tank. Dried. Here, warm water (heat medium) is also supplied to the hollow body, and the slurry is heated from the hollow body side, so that the heating and pressurized dehydration of the slurry can be performed efficiently. As a result, the slurry can be sufficiently and uniformly dried to the inside of the cake in which the slurry is solidified, and the drying time can be reduced and uneven drying can be reduced. In particular, in this dehydration and drying step, a metal hollow body is arranged so as to divide the filter chamber surrounded by the filter cloth into two, and a heating medium is supplied to the hollow body, so that the slurry is separated between the hollow body side and the diaphragm side. Can be heated from both sides. Furthermore, a very good dewatering efficiency can be obtained by providing a projection on the surface of the hollow body to expand the heat transfer area and dehydrating and drying the cake solidified by the projection while breaking the cake. In addition, by adopting a configuration in which the furnace cloth is arranged on the surface of the hollow body as shown in FIG. 6, the filtrate can be extracted from both sides.
[0033]
Table 1 is for explaining the effect of the slurry dehydrating and drying apparatus of the present invention, and is an experimental result comparing a conventional example and an example of the present invention. The filter chamber configuration is a conventional double-sided diaphragm, the present invention example 1 is a metal hollow body having a single-sided diaphragm and no single-sided projection, and the present invention example 2 is a metal-made hollow body having a single-sided diaphragm and single-sided projection. Invention Example 3 is a metal hollow body having a diaphragm on one side and a filter cloth on one side.
[0034]
[Table 1]
[0035]
Each of Invention Examples 1, 2, and 3 has a filtration area of 1.0 m 2 , a slurry supply amount of 70 L, a pressing step using hot water heating and pressing and drying under reduced pressure, and a drying step in which the pressure is reduced while heating. I am experimenting. Here, the thermal conductivity of the diaphragm is 0.23 W · m −1 · K −1 , whereas the thermal conductivity of the metal hollow body is 15 W · m −1 · K −1, which is 65 times. Was.
[0036]
Then, as a result of an experiment in which the final cake moisture content was 35%, in the conventional example, the cake moisture content remained at 55% even when the drying time was 2.50 H (hour), whereas in the present invention example 1, the drying time was Of 0.50 H (hour) and a filtration rate of 0.53 kg · m −2 · h −1 . In Example 2 of the present invention, the drying time was 0.43 H (hour), and the filtration rate was 0.55 kg · m −2 · h −1 . In Example 3 of the present invention, the drying time was 0.58 H (hour), and the filtration rate was 0.51 kg · m −2 · h −1 .
[0037]
The dried cake was discharged in the form of a block only in Example 3 of the present invention, and in the form of a plate in the other three examples. From the above experimental results, it can be seen that the presence or absence of the metal hollow body greatly affects the length of the drying time. In particular, using a metal hollow body with good thermal conductivity, the slurry is dehydrated and dried under reduced pressure while heating and pressurizing the slurry from both sides to the inside, so that the inside of the cake is sufficiently dried and the drying time is shortened It is also found to be extremely effective in reducing drying unevenness.
[0038]
It should be noted that the above-described embodiment describes one mode of the embodiment of the present invention, and it is needless to say that various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
[0039]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, by using a metal hollow body having a thermal conductivity sufficient for heating a slurry to be dehydrated and dried, the cake drying time is reduced, and the drying unevenness of the cake is reduced. Can be. In addition, a simple method of inserting a metal hollow body into a filter chamber does not significantly increase the manufacturing cost, and has a high durability and a short processing time. Water dryer).
