Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a microactuator, and more particularly to a microactuator suitable for being applied to a human body.
[0002]
[Prior art]
An optically driven micropump that drives a pump using optical energy instead of driving the micropump using electric power has been proposed (see Patent Document 1).
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
JP-A-5-340356 (page 3-5, FIG. 1)
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the micropump proposed in Patent Document 1 converts light energy into heat energy so as to avoid use of electric power and uses the heat energy to change the volume of a fluid. In addition to using a simple material, the structure is complicated and it is difficult to reduce the size. In addition, the response speed tends to be low because the energy is to be used.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and an object of the present invention is to provide an optically driven microactuator that can be easily miniaturized.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, an optically driven microactuator according to the present invention has a microhousing provided with a light intake port to which a light emitting end of an optical fiber is attached, and a microhousing provided in the microhousing. A photovoltaic device that receives light from the light emitting end of the optical fiber attached to the input port and converts light energy into electric energy; and a photovoltaic device that is disposed in the micro housing and converts electric energy from the photovoltaic device. The power storage device includes a power storage unit for storing the electric power, and an electrically driven microactuator unit that is disposed inside the micro housing and is driven by electric energy of the power storage unit.
[0007]
Since the optically driven microactuator of the present invention includes a photovoltaic device, an electrically driven microactuator can be used as the microactuator. A simple converter is not required, and the structure can be simplified and downsized. In addition, since the light-driven microactuator of the present invention includes power storage means in addition to the photovoltaic device, it is not necessary to constantly supply light energy. Therefore, operation is possible in both the state where the optical fiber is connected and the state where the connection of the optical fiber is released. Further, in the optically driven microactuator of the present invention, the entire photovoltaic device, the electric storage means, and the electrically driven microactuator section are disposed in the housing except for the operating section of the electrically driven microactuator section. Since the voltage application portion and the current-carrying portion can be shielded from the outside, the safety is easily enhanced.
[0008]
In the light-driven microactuator of the present invention, typically, the portion other than the operating portion of the electrically-driven microactuator is sealed in the housing together with the photovoltaic device and the power storage means. In this case, even if the optically driven microactuator is applied to a human body or inserted into a human body or the like, there is little possibility that body fluids or the like come into contact with an electric system, and safety is easily improved. In this case, since the energy receiving portion of the microactuator is not an electrical connector but a light receiving surface, its safety and waterproofness are easily ensured. When heat generation is difficult to ignore due to restrictions on the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the photovoltaic device, the photovoltaic device is attached to the housing via a material having high electrical insulation and high thermal conductivity. In this case, typically, the housing is also formed of a material having high electrical insulation and high thermal conductivity.
[0009]
In the optically driven microactuator according to the present invention, the electrically driven microactuator section typically includes a motor such as an electromagnetic motor or an ultrasonic motor, or an actuating means or a driving means such as a pump including the motor. When the optically driven microactuator of the present invention includes a motor, portions of the motor other than the operating portion such as the output shaft of the rotor are disposed in the housing, and include, for example, portions other than the rotor and the output shaft integrated therewith. Is typically enclosed in a housing. However, depending on the assumed use environment, it may be simply surrounded by the housing.
[0010]
The light-driven microactuator of the present invention may include an acoustic sensor having a piezoelectric element or the like like a microphone, or an image sensor having a CCD element or the like like a camera. In this case, a stimulus generator in the form of an acoustic signal such as a speaker, lighting required for imaging, and the like may be provided side by side. Light having a wavelength range that is difficult to be absorbed by a surrounding medium or the like is used depending on the use environment.
[0011]
In the optically driven microactuator of the present invention, typically, the microhousing is formed of a cylindrical body, and the outer diameter of the cylinder is, for example, about 5 mm or less. Is about 1 mm. However, it may be larger than about 5 mm or smaller than about 1 mm.
[0012]
In the optically driven microactuator of the present invention, for example, the microhousing is configured to be inserted into a body, for example, a blood vessel or a digestive organ. However, those used in thin pipes or the like or those used in other environments may be used.
[0013]
The optically driven microactuator according to the present invention is an electrically driven microactuator such as a motor in a state where the optical fiber is detached even if the optical fiber is removed by operation (insertion or pushing or pulling) of the optical fiber for supplying optical energy. It may be made to run by a screw etc. by operation of a part. When the optical energy supplied from the fiber is in a specific pattern, the optical fiber is driven by an electrically driven microactuator so as to be detached from the light intake of the optically driven microactuator. It may be removably engaged with the light inlet through engagement or the like.
