Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a fiber sheet having a cotton fiber layer on at least one surface and a method for producing the fiber sheet. The fiber sheet of the present invention is particularly suitably used as a sheet that comes into contact with the skin.
BACKGROUND ART A bodily fluid absorbing patch having a surface material made of a flexible nonwoven fabric made of cotton fibers is known (see Patent Document 1). This surface material was manufactured by the hydroentanglement method. Therefore, this surface material has a small inter-fiber distance and a closed structure, and the texture becomes hard. Therefore, it lacks flexibility when used as a surface material in contact with the skin. It is conceivable to reduce the grammage of the surface material as a means of increasing flexibility, but it is difficult to reduce the grammage because this surface material is composed of cotton fibers alone. Even if an attempt is made to reduce the basis weight, the lower limit is considered to be about 35 to 40 g / m 2 . Further, since the surface material is kept in a sheet form by entanglement of only cotton fibers, it is not easy to sufficiently increase mechanical strength such as tensile strength. Increasing the strength and decreasing the basis weight generally have a conflicting relationship.
A method has been proposed in which natural fibers such as cotton fibers are compounded with other fibers to reduce the basis weight of cotton fibers (see Patent Document 2). In this method, a web of short fibers such as natural fibers is laminated on the upper surface of a net-like sheet, and the fibers of the web are entangled with each other by a high-speed water flow treatment and also entangled with the net-like sheet. However, due to the fact that the object of the entanglement of the short fibers is the net-like sheet, the entangled short fibers are clogged, and the distance between the fibers becomes short. As a result, the obtained sheet becomes hard without flexibility.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a fiber sheet containing cotton fibers, which has a soft feel despite having high strength, and a method for producing the same.

The object is achieved by providing a fiber sheet comprising a combination of the following fibers a) and b) or a combination of the fibers a) and c): It was done.
a) a heat-fusible fiber b) a heat-fusible fiber having a smaller fiber diameter than the heat-fusible fiber of a) c) a fiber not fused to the heat-fusible fiber of a)
The present invention also provides a preferred method for producing the fiber sheet,
A web of cotton fibers is superimposed on one side of a nonwoven fabric containing the fibers of a) and b) or the fibers of a) and fibers of c), and a high-pressure water stream is jetted from the web side to form a fiber network of the nonwoven fabric. Providing a method for producing a fiber sheet in which cotton fibers are inserted into the nonwoven fabric and entangled with the fiber network, and at the same time, the fibers of b) or the fibers of c) in the nonwoven fabric are moved to the other side of the nonwoven fabric. It is.
Further, the present invention is a fiber sheet comprising a cotton fiber and two or more different synthetic fibers different from each other,
The two or more kinds of the synthetic fibers form a nonwoven fabric,
Cotton fibers enter the fiber network of the non-woven fabric and are entangled with the fiber network, and on each surface side of the non-woven fabric, a cotton fiber layer is formed in a state of partially entering the non-woven fabric,
The two or more kinds of the synthetic fibers provide a fiber sheet including the following combination of the fiber of a) and the fiber of b) or the combination of the fiber of a) and the fiber of c).
a) a heat-fusible fiber b) a heat-fusible fiber having a smaller fiber diameter than the heat-fusible fiber of a) c) a fiber not fused to the heat-fusible fiber of a)
Further, the present invention provides an absorbent article having a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and a liquid-retentive absorber interposed between these sheets, wherein the top sheet is An object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article using any one of the fiber sheets.
The fiber sheet of the present invention exhibits a soft texture because clogging of the cotton fiber, which tends to occur in the conventional cotton sheet, is prevented. Further, the fiber sheet of the present invention has a gradient in capillary force from the side of the cotton fiber layer to the inside of the sheet and has a high liquid pull-in property. Has a dry sensation. Further, since the cotton fiber layer in the fiber sheet of the present invention has a higher tensile strength and the like than a cotton sheet made of a single cotton fiber having the same basis weight, the cotton fiber layer can have a low basis weight. Making the cotton fiber layer have a low basis weight is advantageous from the viewpoint of increasing the flexibility of the cotton fiber layer.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described based on preferred embodiments with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 schematically shows a longitudinal sectional structure of one embodiment of the fiber sheet of the present invention. The
The
On the other hand, the
a) a heat-fusible fiber b) a heat-fusible fiber having a smaller fiber diameter than the heat-fusible fiber of a) c) a fiber not fused to the heat-fusible fiber of a)
The fiber of a) is used for the purpose of forming a main fiber network in the
On the other hand, the fibers b) and c) are used for the purpose of enlarging the fiber space of the fiber network when the
As the fiber of b), a fiber having a smaller fiber diameter than the network forming fiber is used. Specifically, the fineness (dtex) of the fiber of b) is 5 to 80%, especially 10 to 50% smaller than the fineness (dtex) of the network forming fiber, from the viewpoint that the fiber space of the fiber network can be enlarged. preferable. A part of the fiber b) is fused with the network forming fiber in the
As the fiber of c), a fiber which is not fused with the network forming fiber is used. "Fibers that are not fused with the network-forming fibers" are fibers that cannot be fused with the network-forming fibers because they do not inherently have a fusion property, and have a fusion property. In the manufacturing process of the
In the fiber sheet shown in FIG. 1, two types of synthetic fibers, a network forming fiber I and one type of fiber space expanding fiber II, are used. Of course, two or more kinds of fiber space expanding fibers II may be used. For example, the fiber of b) and the fiber of c) can be used in combination. In FIG. 1, the network-forming fibers I are schematically shown by vertically long ellipses to emphasize that a bulky fiber network is formed by the network-forming fibers I.
As shown in FIG. 1, the fiber space expanding fibers II are unevenly distributed on the side opposite to the side on which the
Since the
(A) In the
Evaluation of the flexibility of the
(B) Since the
(C) Since the
The
The
The basis weight of the
The
For example, when the
Next, a preferred method for producing the
Apart from the production of the
The web of the obtained cotton fibers is overlaid on the
As shown in FIG. 3, in the
As a result of the movement of the fiber space expanding fiber II, the portion where the fiber space expanding fiber II has moved and no longer exists forms a fiber network composed of only the network forming fiber I. In other words, the fiber space of the portion becomes larger than before receiving the pressure of the high-pressure water flow. In other words, the inter-fiber distance in the fiber space of the portion is large. The
Thus, the
As described above, in the present invention, as the fiber space expanding fiber II, a type of fiber that moves and is unevenly distributed due to a water flow, and a material that moves by a water flow such as a crimped latently crimpable fiber returns to near the original position of the fiber and largely expands. Uses fibers that are not unevenly distributed. The use of the former type of fiber has the advantage that a capillary gradient is formed in the
Next, another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. In this embodiment, only the points different from the above-described embodiment will be described, and to the points which are not particularly described, the detailed description of the above-described embodiment will be applied as appropriate. In FIG. 4, the same members as those in FIG. 1 are denoted by the same reference numerals.
As shown in FIG. 4, the
Since the
