Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fishing rod provided with a flexible grip member in a grip region of a reel fixing device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
When fishing with a spinning reel mounted, it is often the case that the reel fixing device is gripped and a hit is made while performing a delicate operation. It is common for a lure rod to be gripped here to perform a fishing operation. In such a case, a grip member formed of a natural or artificial cork or a foamable synthetic resin material such as EVA is provided on the surface of a region to be touched (grip region) for improving the feel of the gripper and reducing the weight. Sometimes. In this case, the thumb of the gripping hand is placed on the front position surface on the front side of the reel mounting surface in a radial direction opposite to the reel mounting surface by a predetermined amount and the force is applied or released, and the thumb is waiting for a hit. Perform fishing rod operations such as vertical movement of the fishing rod. Examples of a reel fixing device section (reel sheet section) assuming use of such a spinning reel are disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 below.
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-189010 [Patent Document 2]
JP-A-60-77367 [0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, if the thumb rest (large-diameter portion) is only a grip member as described in the above-mentioned document 1, the durability is poor with respect to friction and the like. Lose. Further, as in Patent Document 2, when the entire tip of the thumb (from the first joint to the tip) is placed on a hard component, the feel of the gripping hand is not good, and the fingertip is not used for a long time. Hurts and makes fishing uncomfortable.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to improve the durability of a thumb rest portion while improving the grip feeling of a gripper when a spinning reel is mounted.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In view of the above object, in claim 1 of the present invention, at least a radially opposite side of the reel mounting surface in the grip area of the reel fixing device portion having the reel mounting surface and a predetermined amount ahead of the front hood. The first joint (front side) of a thumb when a grip member formed of a natural or artificial cork material or an expandable synthetic resin material is covered over the head region, and a spinning reel is mounted and a reel fixing device is gripped. The present invention provides a fishing rod characterized in that a part harder than the grip member is provided in a part of the region where the front end of the joint comes into contact with the joint member.
[0005]
When the spinning reel is mounted and the reel fixing device is gripped, the region where the tip of the thumb contacts the first joint is on the opposite side of the reel mounting surface in the radial direction, and is a predetermined amount ahead of the front hood. Is equivalent to The fact that the hard member is disposed in the grip region means that, in the end, the grip member abuts on the tip of the thumb in addition to the hard member.
Since a hard member is provided in a part, but not the whole, of the contact area of the thumb tip, the tip of the thumb of the grasped hand from the first joint is in contact with the flexible grip member. Due to the presence of the hard member, the durability of the thumb resting portion can be improved while improving the gripping feeling of the gripper.
[0006]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail based on embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view of a lure rod dedicated to a spinning reel as an example of a fishing rod according to the present invention in the vicinity of a reel fixing unit. A reel mounting surface 12B is provided at a predetermined position behind a fiber reinforced resin rod tube 10 reinforced with a reinforcing fiber such as carbon fiber using a synthetic resin such as an epoxy resin as a matrix, and a structural synthetic resin such as ABS or nylon. A reel sheet body 12 formed of a material is fixedly bonded.
[0007]
The rear small-diameter portion 12E of the reel sheet main body 12 is formed in a small-diameter cylindrical portion lower than the reel mounting surface, and is provided with a male screw. Further, a fixed hood 12A is integrally provided at the front end of the reel sheet main body and at the front end of the reel mounting surface. A moving hood 14 is provided on the rear end side of the reel mounting surface, and the moving hood is engaged with a nut member 16 having a female screw to be screwed with the male screw. It can be moved back and forth by turning.
[0008]
On the other hand, a deep hole 12C having a bottom near the rear end of the reel mounting surface is formed in the center of the reel sheet main body from the front end. Further, a thin portion 12D is formed in a stepped shape from the side opposite to the reel mounting surface of the reel sheet main body in the radial direction from the side opposite to the reel mounting surface, and the step edge is indicated by a two-dot chain line. Further, the root of the fixed hood (the front end of the reel seat body) is provided with a hole 12F whose diameter increases toward the front end in the width region (not the entire circumference, but a part of the circumference) of the fixed hood. .
[0009]
In the deep hole 12C, a layer 18 of a foamable synthetic resin is provided between the bottom of the deep hole 12C and the rod pipe. Further, this layer extends to a predetermined distance forward of the front end of the reel sheet body. As this foamable synthetic resin material, for example, there is a (hard) urethane resin, which is stronger against crushing (higher in hardness) than other foamable synthetic resin materials such as EVA. In addition, the weight is lighter than that of the non-foamable reel sheet body.
[0010]
A front side front grip member 20A as a part of the front side grip 20 is provided from above the thin portion 12D to a front end position of the foamable synthetic resin layer 18, and a part of the front side grip member 20A is located at the base of the fixed hood 12A. It is inserted into the hole 12F. The front grip member is formed of a natural or artificial cork material or an expandable synthetic resin material such as EVA, and the opposite side of the reel mounting surface in the radial direction bulges most. The part fits in the palm and has a good grip. The contact boundary surfaces of the rod tube 10, the foamable synthetic resin layer 18, the reel sheet main body 12, and the front side front grip member 20A are adhesively fixed.
[0011]
On the front side of the front side front grip member 20A, a tapered front side front grip member 20B conforming to the outer diameter of the front side front side grip member (the outer diameter is continuous) is adhesively fixed to the surface of the rod pipe. And constitutes a part of the front grip 20. This front-side front grip member can also be formed of a natural or artificial cork material or an expandable synthetic resin material such as EVA, but can be made of a material different from the front-side front grip member 20A.
[0012]
An annular plate member 28 of a metal or a structural synthetic resin material, which is harder than these grip members, is disposed at the boundary between the front side front grip member 20A and the front side front grip member 20B. It is adhesively fixed to the end face of the grip member. Further, the outer diameter is formed to be equal to the outer diameter of each grip member end face (the outer diameter is continuous) or to be somewhat smaller. The position of the annular plate member is a position where the spinning reel is fixed by the front and rear hoods, and the tip of the thumb of the hand holding this area generally contacts the front joint of the thumb. Moreover, since the annular plate member is a plate material and is not so thick, it contacts only a part of the fingertip.
[0013]
Therefore, most of the fingertips are in contact with the flexible grip members 20A and 20B, so that the grip feeling is not significantly impaired and the grip members can be prevented from being worn. Further, as described above, if the outer diameter of the annular plate member is formed to be slightly smaller than the outer diameters of the front and rear grip members 20A and 20B, the degree of contact with the fingertip can be reduced, and the gripping feeling is hardly impaired.
[0014]
Further, in this embodiment, the facing end surfaces 20AE, 20BE of the grip members 20A, 20B are not parallel, but are inclined so that the center side is depressed (rearward), and the outer edge of the annular plate member is formed at each grip member end. It is possible to prevent a gap from being formed by strongly sandwiching the vicinity of the portion, and to improve the adhesive strength by holding a large amount of adhesive on the center side.
[0015]
An annular member 22 formed of metal or a structural synthetic resin (ABS resin, nylon, or the like) is provided at the front end of the front front grip member 20B to protect the front end surface. Behind the rear end surface of the reel seat body 12, a flexible rear grip member 24 formed of a natural or artificial cork material or a foamable synthetic resin material such as EVA is provided. In order to protect the front end face of the grip member, an annular portion 26A made of metal or a synthetic resin for structure is provided, and a tubular part 26 having a smaller-diameter tubular portion 26B protruding is provided at the center thereof. The front end of this tubular component is overlapped with the rear end of the reel seat body 12 (rear small diameter portion 12E), and the nut member 16 can pass through the small diameter tubular portion.
[0016]
When the fishing is performed by gripping the reel fixing unit, the gripping feeling is good due to the presence of the front-side front grip member 20A extending to the opposite side of the reel mounting surface in the radial direction. Further, when the fish is caught, the rod pipe bends, but it can be said that the rod pipe is relatively thin just outside the rod pipe in the reel fixing device section area located near the rear end portion of the reel mounting surface 12B to the front side. Except for the annular plate member, not the reel seat body 12, but the layer 18 of foamable synthetic resin or the grip member 20B is provided, so that the rod pipe in this region is also easily bent. Therefore, the gripper feels the bending of the rod tube and can enjoy fishing.
[0017]
In addition, the above-mentioned hole 12F exists on the fixed hood side of the front end of the reel sheet main body, and the circumferential portion excluding the fixed hood is the thin portion described above. The stress concentration on the rod is reduced.
[0018]
The above-described rod tube 10 is a hollow tube, but may be a solid rod. Also, the fishing rod need not be a lure rod. Instead of the annular plate member 28 which is a 360-degree part, the mounting portion of the thumb of the gripping hand at the time of using the spinning reel, that is, the mounting portion on the radially opposite side to the reel mounting surface, is fixed at the front-rear position. A small part harder than the grip member may be provided at a position forward of the hood position by a predetermined amount in a range where only a part of the thumb tip abuts, and fixed by bonding or the like. In this case, the grip members 20A and 20B can be formed continuously.
[0019]
【The invention's effect】
As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, it is possible to improve the durability of the thumb rest portion while improving the grip feeling of the gripper when the spinning reel is mounted.
